Chapter 58 - Using The Magic Star As The Sword And The World Tree As The Clothes

Ultimate Power

As the starting point of everything, aside from the nine Primordial gods and Cronus, no one has truly mastered ultimate power. Even the other eleven Titan gods have never really achieved it.

Only by using one's divine power to prove loyalty and igniting the God's Emblem on the Titan Temple, Carved Labyrinth, can the eleven main Titan gods access ultimate power.

Certainly the ultimate power they wield is still not complete, but even in its incomplete form, it is sufficient.

At this moment, Koios's thrusting sword swept across, shattering everything with just two or three strikes. His expression was calm, devoid of any fluctuations.

"Hades."

"It should be your honor to be defeated by my ultimate power."

Koios's voice was light, his entire being radiating a deep purple light, while strands of lacquered black thunder emerged. The brilliance was both shocking and terrifying.

"Go!"

He uttered the command softly, and countless bolts of thunder rushed toward him, the pitch-black streaks seemingly intent on devouring everything.

In response to such an attack, Hades floated there effortlessly, as if he didn't move at all. The World Tree behind him made a "cracking" sound, and pieces of leaves fell, transforming into a dark behemoth.

"Roar!"

The dark behemoth let out a frenzied roar, as if it aimed to consume everything. When the two forces collided, it seemed like a tie; however, in the next moment, Hades' creature was pierced through.

"Useless," Koios said indifferently. "The power of the ultimate force, Hades, is beyond your imagination. In the face of ultimate power, all your preparations are meaningless."

His expression remained indifferent, exuding the proud self-confidence of a master.

Only those who truly master ultimate power can comprehend its magnitude.

If you don't experience it yourself, you can never fully understand just how terrifying it is.

However...

That assertion might hold true for others, but it was a different story for Hades.

"Destroy."

Hades pronounced the word lightly, and his endless divine power annihilated everything in its path, obliterating all the black thunders.

"Click click"

Following this strange cry, the skull transformed into a hundred and eight magic stars that gradually condensed into a dark purple sword in Hades' palm. Although it was an illusion, it was fully functional; the combined magic stars were as powerful as Chu Zhen's weapon.

At the same time, the World Tree floating behind Hades radiated brilliance.

As the dark purple light shone, it gradually enveloped Hades' body.

A luxurious fighting robe with three pairs of wings emerged, shimmering and ethereal. Though not a solid entity, it exuded immense power.

With the magic star as his sword in hand and the World Tree as his armor, this was all the power Hades could unleash.

With a flick of the magic star sword in his hand, Hades said with a cold expression: "Koios, let's start, our real battle, whether I will kill you or you will kill me with the ultimate power, will this matter? The end result is what matters."

"Hades!"

Koios's expression sharpened as he wielded his stabbing sword, which transformed into a stream of light racing toward Hades. There was no flashy display of divine power or intricate skills; it was a straightforward attack. Yet, each strike was unpredictable, fluidly changing in his hands.

Technique!

When skill is developed to its extreme, it transcends flashy fighting styles, becoming pure mastery. Every strike possesses the potential to kill gods. When mortals push themselves to their limits, they can wield their weapons with such finesse that even the gods can fall, this is the power of technique.

Koios, as one of the oldest of the Twelve Titan Lords, has honed his skills to an astounding level. He understands the significance of pure skill, which is undeniably a formidable force.

The sword of the magic star and Chu Zhentu's stabbing sword intertwined at incredible speed. Their strikes exchanged fluidly, each one seeming to threaten the other's life, as divine power and laws surged along their blades.

What appeared to be a simple battle was, in reality, the most dangerous of encounters. As the fight progressed, Koios was filled with disbelief, struggling to comprehend how someone could be so formidable.

"How can this be?"

He was astonished, was this truly what a god could achieve? Or was Hades' aptitude genuinely that terrifying?

At that moment, Koios saw in Hades the embodiment of the supreme Titan king.

Once, he had faced the Titan God King, who had mastered the very skills Koios prided himself on, surpassing him in mere moments.

It was a confrontation of absolute power against absolute skill. Facing someone with such invincible talent was the most fearsome prospect; you could never predict how much stronger they might become.

But now, in this battle, Hades was rapidly absorbing Koios' techniques, refining his own. He would not repeat the same mistakes, addressing each one in the shortest time possible. This was the most frightening aspect of the duel.

Like a sponge, Hades soaked up knowledge and skill. Koios sought to end the battle swiftly, but no matter his efforts, he couldn't harm Hades. Even if he managed to suppress him temporarily, Hades would steadily regain his strength as the fight continued.

The two weaved together in a dance of combat, clashing time and again.

Then, with a sudden swing of his sword, Hades declared, "Koios, the victory of this battle already belongs to me."
