Chereads / I! Pluto Hades / Chapter 8 - The Sun God And The Burning Fairy

Chapter 8 - The Sun God And The Burning Fairy

The flame of the sun was infused with the breath of the underworld and transformed into a dark purple flame that burned the soul.

In an instant, the Titan gods rushing from all directions were burned to death, divine bodies and souls alike, leaving nothing behind.

"Hades!"

"Kill!"

"For His Majesty!"

However, the number of Titan gods was countless, falling like leeks, one after another.

Hades couldn't help but frown and released a large amount of dark purple flames again. After devouring everything in their path, his figure vanished without a trace.

"Trouble."

"If I can't block the search of these Titan gods, there will be endless complications."

Hades, who was usually extremely rational and calm, felt overwhelmed by the current situation. These Titan gods were simply inexhaustible. If he couldn't hide his tracks, they would stick to him like a stubborn plaster.

In the era when the Titan gods hunted him, it was much harder to conceal his presence.

Or rather, as long as Hades existed, those Titan gods could detect him, unless he chose to venture into the chaotic starry sky forever and never return. But if he did that, it would be meaningless to break free from the seal.

"Invisibility cloth."

Hades searched through his memories and gradually identified the most suitable treasure.

In the myths, the three one-eyed Titan brothers created three artifacts for the three brothers: Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus.

A stealth helmet.

A trident.

A thunderbolt.

The power of the three artifacts was comparable and incredibly formidable, akin to the top artifacts in the hands of the Main God Titan. The core of the invisibility helmet was the invisibility cloth. With this in mind, Hades began to formulate a plan.

"The invisibility cloth is located in Hell."

"It seems my next destination is Hell."

Just as Hades was about to go directly to Hell, a surge of divine power erupted, and monstrous flames rained down from the sky.

The flames fell, incinerating everything in an instant.

"As expected of His Majesty's heir. Although your time of birth is very short, you can still escape my attack."

A haughty voice echoed through the air.

The disappearing figure of Hades reappeared, quietly observing the sky as a figure gradually approached, driving a sun chariot pulled by four fiery horses. As the chariot drew closer, it seemed that the sun was setting, and the scorching heat enveloped the entire earth.

The ground cracked rapidly, and the Titan gods who had been pursuing him dared not advance; they all paused at a distance.

"Master Helios?!"

"Hades is dead!"

"That's right!"

The words of the Titan gods in the distance were filled with respect. Compared to their less distinguished counterparts, this lord was truly a second-generation Titan god.

"Helios; God of the Sun."

Helios was one of the twelve main gods of the Titans, known as the strongest god. He was the son of Hyperion, the sun god, and Theia, the goddess of knowledge. Although not as powerful as his father, he was still among the most prominent figures of the second generation of Titan gods.

In that sense, Helios was like a cousin to Hades.

"Hades!" Helios looked down at Hades and said indifferently, "What awaits you next is death."

Facing Helios, Hades remained calm but was cautious in his heart. Helios was very strong, and he couldn't afford to be careless. After all, a single flaw or a moment's delay could lead to unforeseen consequences.

"The Flame of the Sun."

As Helios spoke, two groups of flames ignited simultaneously: one red-gold and the other dark purple.

The air distorted, and the earth burned as everything in sight; concepts and beings alike, was completely incinerated by the collision of the two flames.

Helios was momentarily taken aback and said, "The Flame of the Sun? No! This is not the Flame of the Sun; it must be the Flame of the Sun after it has transformed. But how can you wield it?"

Hades replied calmly, "It should be called the flame of the underworld."

As he spoke, Hades waved his hand, and the monstrous flames of the underworld spread out, swallowing the Titans who had been hiding in the distance.

The flames of the underworld were a transformation of the flames of the sun. Compared to the ability of the flames of the sun to incinerate all things, the flames of the underworld were purer, capable of burning souls. No matter whose soul it was, even that of a god; it would be consumed by the flames of the underworld, becoming nourishment for them.

"Ah!!!"

The surrounding Titans only had time to scream before they were engulfed by the monstrous flames of the underworld.

The dark purple flames grew stronger, fueled by the souls of the Titans, gradually overpowering Helios.

The flames of the sun were completely devoured.

"This?!"

"How can this be?!"

"No way!"

Helios was filled with disbelief but quickly regained his composure, mobilizing his divine power with fervor. In response, a vast phantom appeared.

It depicted a sprawling universe, where countless fire nymphs prayed as believers, and their divine power flowed back to Helios, continuously feeding the flames of the sun.

Hades remained calm. In the face of Helios' assault, he simply continued to inject divine power, indiscriminately devouring more Titans.

"Helios!"

"Calm down!"

At that moment, a voice broke through a graceful woman with sea-blue hair approached, radiating a scorching aura as she landed on Helios' sun chariot. With the blessing of divine power, the flames of the sun that had been gradually consumed flared back to life.

"Burning the Fairy."

"Klymene."
