God of the Sun, Helios.
Burning Fairy, Klymene.
The husband and wife joined forces.
Under the blessing of vast divine power, the flames of the sun, which were about to be engulfed by the flames of the underworld, surged back to life, burning fiercely. The red-gold light instantly covered everything in front of Hades' eyes.
Without any change in expression, Hades' divine sense flickered briefly as he injected even more terrifying divine power.
Dark purple flames of the underworld.
Red-gold flames of the sun.
The two types of divine flames burned fiercely, causing the battlefield to gradually divide into two parts.
Klymene, as the wife of Helios, was one of the twelve main gods of the Titans, the daughter of Oceanus, the god of clear water, and Tethys, the goddess of the ocean. Together, they had a total of 6,000 children—3,000 sons who were river gods and 3,000 daughters who were ocean goddesses.
It is worth mentioning that Klymene held the authority of burning. Under the influence of her divine power, Helios' strength was multiplied several times, becoming even more formidable.
The battle between the three was a protracted struggle, with each side suppressing the other purely through vast divine power. Even facing two opponents, Hades' divine power seemed bottomless, as if it would never be exhausted.
Klymene said softly, "Helios, he's incredibly strong! Didn't Hades just break free from His Majesty's seal? How could he possess such terrifying divine power?"
Helios shook his head, replying, "I don't know, and I can't be certain what's going on."
The battle continued, and as time passed, it felt like an eternity had passed. Even the surrounding Titan gods had vanished, too afraid to gather near; they knew Hades' flames of the underworld would truly consume them.
Suddenly, the flames of the underworld and the flames of the sun disappeared completely, leaving everything burned to nothing but a void. However, with the ending of the fighting, the eternal divine power of the earth gradually began to repair the charred areas.
Soon, everything returned to its original state, as if nothing had happened.
Helios looked sharp and said in admiration, "Hades, you truly deserve to be His Majesty's son. You should never be underestimated."
Hades felt dissatisfied with this title. He opened his mouth to argue that he was the son of Cronus, who had given him nothing and had even sought to kill him.
Yet, he remained silent, knowing that any rebuttal would be weak; he felt too powerless to contest that assertion. Only with enough strength would he be able to refute it meaningfully.
Hades said, "Helios, Klymene, let's end this here."
Helios shook his head. "I'm sorry! If you were someone else, then this could be the end."
"But who made you Hades?"
Helios' eyes reignited with the red-gold flames of the sun, while Klymene also infused her divine power. Together, they formed a monstrous solar flame.
In this era, there were no fancy tricks; the battles between gods were primarily competitions of pure divine power and laws. If your foundation was stronger than mine and your laws were more profound, your divine power more terrifying, then you would win.
It was that simple.
In a one-on-one scenario, Helios and Klymene would not be Hades' opponents at all. However, their powers complemented each other, resulting in a formidable combination.
Hades did not intend to prolong the fight any further. He had already wasted enough time; if he continued, he feared that even greater troubles awaited him.
"Magic Star."
Hades uttered these two words softly, and dark purple light gradually enveloped him.
"Click Click"
That eerie sound, resembling a skull, accompanied the appearance of numerous skulls, each exuding infinite divine power, surrounding Hades.
Helios was stunned and asked in astonishment, "What is this?"
Klymene reacted immediately and hurriedly shouted, "Get out of the way!"
But it was too late.
The radiant divine power brought forth by the Magic Star completely covered the two of them.
Hades opened one hand, and endless divine power began to brew in his palm, forming what seemed like an eternal world around the Magic Star.
"The Vast Underworld."
Hades spoke these words lightly, both Helios and Klymene felt the unpredictable changes around them. When they came back to their senses, they found themselves in a hellish realm filled with the wails of lost souls.
Hades calmly addressed them, "Here, everyone must give up hope of life, even the gods must relinquish that hope. So let me see where you can go."
"Hades!" Helios roared loudly, but Hades' figure vanished without a trace.
Silence fell between Helios and Klymene. They looked at each other, feeling an unusual weight pressing on their souls.
Helios surveyed the surroundings solemnly and said softly, "Klymene, my divine power is gradually being suppressed. In three days at most, I fear I will lose all my divine power."
Klymene felt her own divine power diminishing and replied, "I am the same. Now we must see if we can escape from this enchantment."
