Chereads / I! Pluto Hades / Chapter 10 - Unrelenting, The Sun Sword That Falls From The Sky

Chapter 10 - Unrelenting, The Sun Sword That Falls From The Sky

The flames of the burning sun struggled to consume endless souls.

"Ah!"

"Come with us!"

"Death! It's the most beautiful thing!"

"Hahaha!"

Crazy, malevolent spirits roared, their ferocity palpable.

Helios and Klymene unleashed endless flames of the sun, but every step they took was an immense effort. The throngs of evil spirits seemed infinite and inexhaustible.

In truth, these spirits were formed from the divine power of the Magic Star, but how much divine power does the Magic Star contain? Hades could tell you that he only utilized a fraction of it. If all of its power were unleashed, it might rival even the main gods of the Titans, reaching the level of Hyperion.

As one of the three generations of god-kings, Hades's Destiny Fetish contained an unfathomable power, unimaginable to those who could not wield it.

"Helios. Klymene. Where can you go?"

In the illusory space, Hades quietly observed their every move. For beings who did not belong to the underworld, the longer they remained, the more terrifying their divine power would be consumed.

As time passed, they would be gradually swallowed by the underworld, ultimately becoming its nourishment.

Of course, this underworld was not the true underworld. Hades combined the world seeds with the Magic Star and infused it with his divine power as a natural god-king to create an illusory underworld. Though it was an illusion, it had everything one might expect to find.

Three days passed.

The two had reached the gates of hell step by step.

Yet, their divine power had almost been exhausted; they had nothing left.

"Hehehe."

Helios collapsed to the ground, devoid of dignity, and said weakly, "Klymene, I'm so sorry! I wanted to protect you, and now we end up here together."

Klymene, equally weak, leaned against Helios and whispered softly, "Helios, this was our choice. Since we made it, we have no regrets."

The couple exchanged glances.

After all, their lives had reached their limits: divine body, soul, divine power everything had been consumed in the underworld, turning into the fertilizer that nourished the seeds of the world.

With a gentle breeze, they turned to ashes, just a step away from the gates of hell.

But they could not take that final step.

As they vanished, Hades reappeared, quietly observing the spot where they had disappeared before the gates of hell. He said, "Respectable opponents, worthy of admirable feelings. In the final moments of life, you still cling to your bond."

Hades held deep appreciation for their relationship; pure love was among the most valued emotions.

However, while he admired them, Hades would not show mercy. Since they stood against him as enemies, being merciful would be cruel to both him and them.

Hades stepped forward, moving toward the gates of the underworld. With each step, the illusory underworld began to collapse, but in unnoticed corners, the seeds of the world radiated brilliant light.

Having absorbed countless souls and laws from the Titan gods, and even from the descendants of Titan gods like Helios and Klymene, the seeds of the world received ample nourishment and began to take root and sprout.

Returning to the earth, Hades raised his hand, and the flames of the underworld blazed once more, completely incinerating the Titans who had gathered during this time.

"It's time to leave. Any further delay will only lead to more trouble."

Hades understood he needed to find the 'Invisibility Cloth' as quickly as possible, otherwise, such encounters would become increasingly frequent.

How many Titans were there in this era? Who knows! The two Titan Lord Gods had around 6,000 children between them, and that concept was staggering.

To put it in perspective, the children of the two Titan Lords were almost on par with first-level gods.

Just as he was about to depart, Hades felt a more terrifying wave of heat approaching.

He halted, sensing he had been locked onto, and an even more overwhelming divine power targeted him; the attack had already begun.

Knowing it was too late to dodge, he raised his gaze to the sun with ethereal black eyes and murmured, "Trouble is coming."

The scorching sun seemed to descend. Under Hades' gaze, it gradually split into nine suns, which formed into sword-like shapes!

In the next moment, a blazing sun sword shot toward Hades from above.

"Sun God. Hyperion."

Hades knew only one god could execute such an attack: Hyperion, the Sun God, known as the strongest among the Titans. His own son and daughter-in-law had fallen at Hades' hands.

And now, this was Hyperion's most exceptional offspring how could he allow this to go unpunished? Hyperion was a god who valued fairness and the spirit of duel. He would relentlessly pursue Hades, yet his son's death was a weakness.

While Hyperion's attack was powerful, it was not lethal to Hades. It served more as an expression of his dissatisfaction, signaling that the next strike would be the true Sun God's attack.

As the sun sword fell

In an instant!

The sky shattered!

Endless flames consumed everything, turning this place into nothingness once more.
