"Abby, I need to tell you something," Bianca said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Abby paused, glancing over her shoulder. "What is it? You look like you've seen a ghost. You were glowing awhile ago and now..."
Bianca hesitated, her heart pounding. "Adrian… he's married."
Abby froze, the rolling pin slipping from her hands and clattering onto the counter. "What?" she exclaimed, spinning around to face Bianca.
"He's married," Bianca repeated, her voice cracking.
Abby stared at her in disbelief. "And don't tell me you still have plans... seeing him?"
Bianca nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I know it's wrong, Abby. But I love him. I love him so much it hurts."
Abby's expression shifted from shock to anger. "Bianca, are you hearing yourself? He's married! You need to end this now."
"I can't," Bianca said, her voice breaking. "I've thought about it the whole night, but I can't let him go."
