Hao Yang send me a message with his real account.
Hao Yang: Hi, ready for the flight? Who are you going to bring?
My heart was beating fast and I couldn't bring myself to type a response.
I kept thinking of the dream I had, but I wanted to answer and it was just a dream not more or less.
I almost forgot that I was still calling Bea. She was already inpatient.
"Earth on Jessica."
"Sorry, I am still here. What were you saying?"
"I was just giving you a bunch of information about the powerpoint, but you didn't even listen."
"Let's see each other tomorrow at my house."
Bea made an agreeing noise.
"Also I will look into the powerpoint. By the time you are here I will know the information that's in it."
"Oké, Thank you. At Least I don't have to explain it all over again. I let you go know. Goodbye."
"Goodbye and by tomorrow I will know every word in the powerpoint."
Bea laughed a bit and than put the phone down.
I went back to my messages with Hao Yang on Instagram.
"Hi, yeah we are ready to go and I hope to see you there for real. We have a meet and greet, but you never know what happens. Also I am bringing my best friend Bea. Thanks for the flight tickets by the way."
He didn't answer directly so I went to get ready before my dad had to come again and be angry at me.
By the time I was ready it was already dinner time. We were all sitting at the table and I was getting more nervous. I just wanted everyone to be done with eating. That was safer.
By the time everyone's plate was ready I was already sweating.
"Let's give some attention to Jessica. She wants to tell us something." My mom had to take the roof of, so now it was my turn to say something.
"I got a flight ticket from a friend to go to China in two weeks. Can I go, dad?"
He seemed to be thinking about it with his mound agap. SInce there came no answer I was a bit scared of what was going to come. All he did was just staring at me.
Then out of nowhere he finally answered but not what I had hoped for.
"Let me think about it. I will let you know by tomorrow evening."
I was crushed, but I held myself strong.
"Oké dad, but by tomorrow evening I really need the answer."
He just nodded and stood up from the table and went to the sofa to watch the news.
After filling the dishwasher and putting everything away I went upstairs. I still felt a bit sad, but I was not thinking about the worst because tomorrow I will get the definitive answer.
I send Bea a message.
It didn't work. So our last option is the powerpoint. Otherwise my dad will say no. I am sure of it.
I directly got an answer from Bea. "That must be painful, still we will make them say yes. I guarantee you that.
I went directly back to bed and didn't even say good night to my parents. I just wanted it to be tomorrow as fast as possible.
This time I slept very well. I didn't have nightmares anymore or even a dream. I woke up and I felt good. I just looked at my phone and saw that it was already 10 in the morning. So it was time to make me ready because at eleven thirty Bea would come to the station nearby. My dad and I will go to pick her up. I got fifty five minutes to get ready. That must be enough.
I brushed my hair and my teeth and took a fast shower. Jumped in my clothes and went downstairs in a rush.
Everyone had already eaten, only me didn't have breakfast yet. So I took the bread out of the cabinet and also the chocolate paste and put it on the table.
I always put too much chocolate paste on my bread and now my mound was full of it, so I cleaned it fast and then my dad and I went straight for Bea with the car.
When we arrived Bea was already waiting at the station exit and when I got out of the car I waved at her.
She saw me and she came towards me and gave me a hug.
"It's so long ago that we saw each other for real. Let's get in the car and talk."
My dad was already inpatient when we got in, but I said nothing about it.
While the short car ride me and Bea talked about multiple things. When we were at my house we rushed out of the car and went directly upstairs. My mom was foulding clothes she had ironed and we said fast, "Hi."
Then we went directly up and started working on the outcome of the powerpoint.
"Let's hope for a good answer." Bea said.
By the time it was dinner and we were all at the table. We had everything already ready for the powerpoint. When Bea opened it when everyone's plate was empty everyone looked in wonder at the television screen. "Wow, that looks amazing." My dad sighed in disbelief.
Then we both started talking and we did each our part and then the part of; "are there still answers?" It became quite and we both were nervous waiting for an answer. We hoped it would be good enough for us to go to China and we held or fingers crost behind our backs. That was the moment of the trued and then my fathers lips moved.
