Coming closer to the mall, more and more people were staring at us. "Is this the place you want to be now Bea?" Hao Yang asked disappointed. This has been a test I know for sure. Whatever our choices were, this one was indeed bad. I had known it all along. Bea looked a bit confused at Hao Yang and after a few more minutes she got the hint. "Oh sorry you are right. I didn't think of the people who would be here and that much. Let's go to another place. Maybe this time Jessica can choose." She said, looking at me.
"Let's go to a more quiet spot. Like going for a walk in the field."
"Yeah that's indeed a got choice Jessica." Hao Yang looked surprised at me like he didn't expect that answer from me.
"Oh nice Jessica. Let's go." Bea said a bit on the jealous side. I saw the change in her eyes. Like she was going to spit poison at any time, but she just smiled after that one tiny moment of jealousy.
"I hope we could do this more?" I murmured by accident.
"I didn't mean it like that. It's just fun hanging with you Hao Yang.
"It is?" He frowned at us and I saw the beginning of a blush on his cheeks or was I just dreaming?
I was very sure, but then he cleared his throat and we drove with the Cabrio with the open roof to a place so beautiful that it could only be a fantasy. Everywhere were trees with pink blossoms and the grass in the field was knee long. It also had something wild, but I liked it. Bea was a bit careful because she was scared of the insects who were everywhere in the grass.
We walked till we came to a higher point of the field and down the hill was the city underneath us. It seemed so peaceful at this side. With no other sounds then just buzzing insects.
Then we went back down to the other side of the hill and there was a beautiful lake that seemed full of beautiful birds. It was like we came into a beautiful dream. I grabbed my phone. I just wanted to put this moment on camera. Hao Yang hold me back. "This is my secret place. Don't put it on social media please. No one knows about this place and I want to keep it that way."
Bea and I nodded and I said, "That's a promise. It's just a picture for myself."
"Ok take one. Also you are both now knowing where it is so if you want to come here just be careful no one follows you. Ok."
"We understand." Bea and I made a serious face so he knew for sure that he could trust us.
After a while of hanging around at the place we went back to the hotel.
Back at the hotel I murmured dreamingly to Bea. "This was just like a dream." I gave her a little pinch in her arm.
"Ouch, why did you do that?" She whispered to me in pain.
"Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. I was checking if this was a dream or not."
"I understand, but next time think about the consequences." Bea started laughing.
"Just joking." She said after giving me a pinch back.
"That's what I call revenge."
We both started laughing and lay on the bed to try to calm down. It didn't really help with me making weird faces at Bea.
"I am just doing what you are doing." I said and more laughter came.
I think it was a bit after 12 when we both went to sleep and directly we were in dream land.
It was like I woke up, but instead of Bea who was next to me it was Hao Yang. "O no not again." I thought. It was clear I was dreaming again. I had to close and open my eyes again. Still there was Hao Yang. What was happening? I had no idea, but it was creeping me out. How many dreams was I going to have before it stopped?
Then out of nowhere Bea came into the room and held a hand before her month. "Nooo", I wanted to scream, but nothing came out of my month. My words were somehow sucking back into my month, just like a vacuum cleaner. I was so scared.
I felt someone shaking me and yelling at me, "Jessica wake up!"
Finally I woke up again. I was breathing fast and I felt the sweat dripping from my neck onto my back. Every muscle hurts from pressuring them. That was not all. I was also crying.
"What happened?" Bea asked, but I could only stare at her. I was going into shock, I had to snap out of it. It was not simple, but after a while I could breathe normally again like nothing had happened. It felt weird to feel my body again, but grateful that Bea was still here to help me snap out of it. She told me a few breathing tricks while telling me that I had to look at her and it had paid off.
"Now tell me what happened in that dream?" Bea seemed to bring my stress back with that question, but stayed calm and told her everything from beginning till the end.
