Chapter 32 - Jess's Memories

Kat and I got home late, ate Mom's cooked meal after heating it in the oven, and went to bed. In the morning, I took a shower, said my goodbyes to everyone, and told them I'd be seeing more of them on the weekends, then headed to Sarah's.

She and Jess were ready; we got in the car and rode back to the city. We listened to heavy metal music without talking to each other—it was surprisingly a comfortable ride.

Sarah dropped me and Jess off near my apartment building before heading to work. She has a shoot today, one she can't miss after rescheduling other shoots thanks to me asking her so many favors.

I walked Jess inside the building and noticed she only had the backpack with clothes Sarah had gifted her—she had nothing else. I'll have to do something about that, but first, I need to learn several things about dear Jess.
