"Are you able to prove and guarantee its efficiency, Sir?" Taking one of the golden sun serums, the woman inspected it momentarily before skipping to another until all were confirmed to be the same item. Soon enough, the woman questioned Kang.
"Of course, you can use one of the serums to test it completely for free and I will handle the consequences if anything goes wrong. If you still fear any side effects, I can use one of those right in front of you if you have a strength testing machine."
"Thank you, Sir. We will have someone test it, and please follow me." Hearing her words, Kang did as asked and soon enough the three entered a room. Since Kang took full responsibility for the aftermath, the girl didn't hesitate to offer one of the present hunters to do the test.
It was a male hunter, his height was slightly shorter than Kang and taller than Yuna. His light blue, striking hair was slightly long, reaching below his ears. He was incredibly slim and seemingly weak despite his rank.
[Human(B)]
Using his detection ability, Kang compared the hunter's first record to the system's analysis and sure enough, the ranks were quite different. To humans, this was an A-ranked hunter and to the system, this was a B-ranked hunter.
In the end, Kang thought about the difference between both standards which might be the reason, he knew that the strength test was fine. Either way, Kang decided to stick to the system's standards since it was higher.
Once the hunter took the serum, he felt the subtle change happening in his body. He remained slim, but his muscles became much more refined than before, and his facial features became much sharper compared to his previous soft features.
Once he felt stable enough, he proceeded to test it for the second time. Watching his record jump with a whooping extra of nearly seventy thousand, he almost jumped from happiness.
"You now owe me at least a couple of hundred million coins for the serum you just used, how are you going to pay for it?" Hearing Kang's voice, the young man knew he was in deep trouble since he volunteered right away without questioning its efficiency or anything.
A whopping seventy thousand was no joke no matter how small given the gap between A-rank and S-rank was a half million, and the fact that Kang never mentioned anything about limitations meant that this serum could be used. Soon, despair painted the hunter's face as he slowly brought it down.
"How about working for my guild to pay your debt? You will mostly handle office work and mana stones collecting." Pausing for a moment, Kang stepped forward to lift the man's head to make eye contact.
"Of course, you can wait and take the official guild exam if you wish to join the hunting teams and get paid properly. It's all up to you at the end of the day."
"I will wait for the exam, Sir. But can I do the office work for now?" Hearing Kang's words, the hunter didn't hesitate to take Kang's offer right away.
"Yes, you are more than welcome to. Either way, introduce yourself along the way and hand your identity card to my secretary to register your information. Then you can follow us back to Ashford, where our current headquarters are." Having solved this issue, Kang moved his attention back to the girl who brought them back to her office.
"The Hunters Hub will register the remaining serums and twenty percent of the final bid will be taken as a fee for our service, Sir. Do you wish to proceed?"
"Yes, I can even allow an extra ten percent if you do me a couple of favors along the way. First, I want you to advertise this one of the Golden Sun's products and make sure the guild gets enough attention. Second, the bidding threshold should be a minimum of a hundred million coins. Third and last, I will need at least a minimum of five VIP or private seats comfy enough for me and my followers."
"Yes sir, all of those conditions will be fulfilled exactly as requested." Although the girl found the first condition ridiculous since providers kept their identities hidden mostly, she didn't reject it because it was Kang's wish after all.
"Good, then I shall be back when the auction starts." Standing up, Kang left the hub before entering the guide's car once again.
"Take us to Frost Claw headquarters." Following Kang's orders, the driver took a turn before driving through the roads to the designated place on his phone's map.
Soon enough, Kang was able to see the massive insignia made of metals attached to the guild's building. The guild insignia consisted of a single beast skull and three thick slashes piercing through it.
"Remind me to get an insignia for our guild, Yuna. Now, mind introducing yourself?" Witnessing Yuna's nod, Kang gave his attention to the body sitting with them in the car awkwardly.
"I'm Aster, Sir," Aster responded right away in a weak tone, revealing his nervousness.
"Nice to meet you, Aster. My name is Shepherd and this is Yuna, my secretary." Following Kang's words, Yuna introduced herself as well and the atmosphere became less awkward as time passed by. Soon enough, the car stopped in front of the building.
"You two stay here for a while, I will be back soon once I'm done with my business." Knowing his intentions were bad, Kang decided to leave the youngsters behind before casually approaching the two guards at the gate.
"Good day, fellow hunters. Both of you are A-rank, so why don't we take the chance to test this?" Moving forward between the guards, Kang patted their shoulders lightly causing them to enter a crazed state as both started attacking their surroundings.
'I see, so it's fucking with their sight.' Having tested what he wanted, Kang struck both on the back of their heads swiftly, causing them to collapse on the ground before ignoring them and going forward.
"Where can I find the Frost Monarch?" Approaching one of the front desks, Kang asked casually while providing his identity card.
"Apologies sir, but the Frost Monarch hardly comes to the guild. You may find him in his mansion, I can give you the location if you wish."
"No, no need. I believe he will come on his own if I beat up most of his guild." Ignoring the woman, Kang made his way toward the stairs where he climbed casually to the next floor.
