Soon, bids began flooding in, and contrary to the previous rounds, others were putting in more money compared to before while easily defeating the three main bidders who took the recent items.
Finally, the orb's price landed at seventy billion before being taken out by one of the unfamiliar hunters. And unlike the rest, this one was casually sitting in the public seats with total disregard for others. Using his detection ability, Kang was able to see the hunter's info, and soon enough, Kang discovered that it was another false S-ranked hunter.
"For the final item, we have a rare weapon made of some unknown materials!" Hearing the woman's voice, Kang had a frown on his face because this particular sword was quite familiar to him!
'What is this doing here?' Looking at the slightly modified acid weapon, Kang questioned internally before thinking of a way to take this situation to his advantage. Looking at the acid weapons he formed in preparation for dealing with God's Hand, Kang strengthened his resolve before altering one into a javelin.
Standing up, Kang made his way toward the glass separating his room and public space and soon enough, he raised his hand before violently thrusting the javelin against the glass, breaking it and sending it flying toward the main stage where the hostess was standing next to the weapon!
"WHO DARES!!!" Appearing behind the hostess, the familiar elder screamed before gripping her and then distancing himself as the weapons collision caused their stability to deteriorate. What transpired next was a massive, bright explosion as the acid spread across the entire stage, devouring everything in its way.
"I did it, is there a problem?" Jumping from his VIP room, Kang landed next to the damaged stage before casually making his way while holding his heavy sword on his shoulder.
"How dare you break the rules not once, but twice!" Shouting in anger, the elder blinked from his place before appearing suddenly in front of Kang with his fist driven forward toward his target. Although it was too fast for the others to see, Kang smiled at the elder as the elder made contact with his body, failing to cause any damage!
"How? Your record was just 1.5 million a month ago! How can you stop a fist with over two and half million KG????" Looking at Kang, the elder shouted in disbelief only to get a violent slap across the face causing him to spin in place from the sheer force and control Kang displayed.
"Your disguise…sucks." Responding to the elder, Kang lifted his sword high before violently swinging down at the spinning elder only to get nearly blocked by God's Hand interference!
"Don't you know that putting your nose in other hunter's business is considered rude?" Following the familiar voice, a couple of ice spikes raced across the hall's surface before stopping God's Hand in his track as Kang's sword made contact with the elder's body.
Crashing against the hall's ground, the elder's body lay deep in the pit left behind the aftermath as James jumped down to the stage.
