Chapter 47
Tsunade examined Haneda and, finding no issues, left behind a discharge certificate before departing.
Watching Tsunade leave, Haneda glanced at the discharge papers in his hand, falling into deep thought.
Tsunade's previous words clearly hinted that the Third Hokage had agreed to his requests. This meant that Haneda, bearing the name of Uchiha, would actually have access to the *Scroll of Seals*!
In the original story, the *Scroll of Seals* contained almost all of the forbidden techniques left behind by Tobirama Senju. Among them, the most outstanding were the *Flying Thunder God*, *Edo Tensei*, and the *Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu*.
There's no need to say much about the *Flying Thunder God*. As a space-time ninjutsu, once mastered, it's almost impossible to be stopped. Like how Tobirama was chased by Kinkaku and Ginkaku's squad—if he had really wanted to escape, who could have stopped him? But, unfortunately, he had six apprentices with him. For the next generation of Konoha, Tobirama stayed behind to cover their escape.
Haneda guessed that Tobirama's eventual fate was likely chakra exhaustion, where he was dragged to death.
Another iconic user was the Fourth Hokage—Minato Namikaze! His *Flying Thunder God* combined with *Rasengan* was both incredibly fast and powerful, causing even the A-B combo (A and B) to be wary of him. During the Nine-Tails' attack, Minato's technique even suppressed Obito's *Kamui*. Just with one eye, *Kamui* made the Five Kage nervous, allowing its wielder to move through the shinobi world almost unchallenged. This alone shows the potential of the *Flying Thunder God*.
Later on, if not for plot limitations, Minato would have been able to outmaneuver the Nine-Tails with ease.
Now, let's look at *Edo Tensei*. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kabuto alone could support an entire army. This was undoubtedly a game-changing technique on the battlefield. Especially with the summoned strong shinobi—dozens at Kage-level strength and several at super-Kage strength. Later, Orochimaru even developed the *Living Corpse Reincarnation*, achieving a form of immortality, showing potential comparable to the *Flying Thunder God*.
As for the *Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu*, it could be considered Naruto's ultimate technique. Thousands of clones, dozens training simultaneously. Moreover, shadow clones could gather Sage chakra from far distances, which is quite incredible. Overall, the *Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu* was an advanced version of the regular shadow clone technique. However, it was much harder to perform, allowing for more clones and having almost no upper limit. That's why this is a must-learn skill for Haneda.
Once he awakens his Sage Body and his chakra increases massively, he could split into multiple clones to practice ninjutsu simultaneously.
Previously, when Haneda used shadow clones, it was mainly for reading and studying theoretical knowledge. But with more chakra, things would be different. He could produce more clones, and each clone would carry enough chakra for long-term ninjutsu training.
With this, Haneda could achieve in a few years what others would take decades to master!
Back then, Naruto relied on this overpowered technique, transforming from an underdog who knew nothing into a super genius who created S-rank jutsu, all in just three years!
Thinking about this, Haneda smiled slightly.
The *Edo Tensei* was too dangerous, and the Third Hokage might not include it in the scroll for Haneda to see. There was also a possibility with the *Flying Thunder God*, depending on how honorable the Third Hokage wanted to be. After all, the *Flying Thunder God* was the Second Hokage's signature technique, and it couldn't be hidden forever.
But mastering the *Flying Thunder God* required immense talent, and Haneda never considered himself a true genius. Most of his current strength came from the system. He wasn't sure if he could master the *Flying Thunder God*.
Setting aside the first two forbidden techniques, Haneda was determined to learn the *Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu*. It was the most suitable jutsu for him to train with. The others were either inaccessible or too hard to learn, so there was no point in dwelling on them.
However...
Haneda thought of Kakashi, the genius ninja, and pondered the possibility of Kakashi learning the *Flying Thunder God*. In the original series, it wasn't explicitly stated whether Kakashi had learned the technique. Although one could infer from the three Jonin around Minato that Kakashi may have been taught, the result was that he didn't master it.
But what if Minato never taught him?
During the Fourth Ninja War, Minato mentioned that the mark of the *Flying Thunder God* could exist indefinitely, something he hadn't told Obito. As for Kakashi, another of Minato's students, it was possible there were many things Minato hadn't told him.
Plus, Minato died early, and Kakashi developed his own fighting style, so maybe Minato hadn't taught him or simply didn't have the chance to.
The more Haneda thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed.
Either way, there weren't any particularly suitable forbidden techniques for Kakashi in the scroll. If Kakashi lacked the talent, Haneda could always compensate by teaching him *Chidori*.
Ahem...
If worse came to worst, teaching him the *Eight Gates* would also work.
...
Two and a half days later, Kakashi was fully discharged. Thanks to Tsunade's treatment, aside from not being able to engage in strenuous activity for the next half month, Kakashi had no lasting injuries.
At the familiar training ground of the ninja academy, the place where Haneda had defeated Kakashi and declared that Konoha's White Fang was a hero, the bond between them was truly formed.
On the training field, Haneda, Kakashi, and Obito were sitting under the shade of a tree, taking a break. Not far away, Gai was running energetically. He had only run about ten laps and was already drenched in sweat, but now, unlike before, everyone knew Gai was running with weights on. They also knew that his father, just with taijutsu, had become an elite Jonin. No one mocked Gai as a failure anymore, and people even began to respect his perseverance.
Haneda and the other two sat under the tree, watching Gai train.
"Aren't you going to train, Haneda? I remember you used to practice genjutsu around this time," Kakashi asked softly.
"Ninjutsu is important for a ninja, but it's not everything," Haneda replied. "There are some things that are above all else."
Hearing this familiar phrase, Kakashi immediately understood Haneda's meaning. He smiled and reflected, "Yeah, there are always some things that take precedence."
After Kakashi finished speaking, the two fell into silence. Neither wanted to bring up the incident where Kakashi had taken the blow for Haneda. Perhaps this was the silent understanding between friends.
Obito, who was listening nearby, was confused and asked curiously, "What are you guys talking about? What kind of thing takes precedence? I know all the words, but together, they don't make sense."
As always, Kakashi remained aloof and didn't answer. Given his personality, the fact he didn't call Obito an idiot was already being kind.
"One day, you'll understand, Obito," Haneda said. "It's something that's most important to a person—whether it's conscience, ideals, or emotions."
Haneda didn't explain much further. These things could only be deeply understood through experience. Initially, Haneda didn't understand the meaning behind using strength for protection, but when he unlocked the second tomoe in his Sharingan, he suddenly and completely grasped it.
Without something to protect, without caring for others, power was meaningless beyond self-preservation. It was like in his previous life when he worked hard to make money—not just for himself, but for his parents and the people he cared about.
Otherwise, why strive to earn more? A monthly salary of four or five thousand, after food and rent, left him with enough to live comfortably. Why work so hard just to make more?
