Synopsis
Tony Stark, ever the innovator, discovers a way to traverse the Multiverse. He detects distress signals from multiple Marvel Universes, including the *Amazing Spider-Man* universe, *Fantastic Four*, and *X-Men* worlds. Stark realizes these universes are facing threats from entities that are too large for any one hero or team to defeat alone. He creates a powerful interdimensional portal using advanced Stark technology and becomes a multiversal hero, traveling between worlds to help. Along the way, Stark faces the ultimate dilemma: the more he helps, the more he disrupts the balance of these universes. Tony must also confront alternate versions of himself, some heroic, others villainous, and realize that not every version of him can be trusted.

Chapter 1 - The Portal to Infinity

Tony Stark stared at the glowing energy field in front of him, the culmination of years of research, experimentation, and countless failures. A shimmering, translucent blue vortex spun gently within a containment frame of pure vibranium, held in place by an array of energy modulators. He had done it. He'd built a portal to the multiverse.

He leaned back, arms crossed, unable to hide a smirk. Sure, the science had been theoretical, but Tony Stark thrived on turning theory into reality. As he adjusted the final dials on his holographic console, the faint hum of the vortex resonated through his private lab in Stark Tower.

"JARVIS, are the diagnostics complete?" Tony asked, glancing at a data feed scrolling on the HUD projected from his gauntlet.

"All readings are nominal, sir. The portal remains stable, though I must remind you there is a 12.7% probability of destabilization during transition," JARVIS's voice responded in its usual, calm tone, though Tony could sense a tinge of unease in the AI's calculations.

"Yeah, well, you know I'm a sucker for good odds. If this thing falls apart, it'll be an interesting ride," Tony quipped, though he couldn't shake the feeling that something larger than himself was about to unfold.

He took a step toward the swirling energy vortex, its surface rippling like water. This was it—the doorway to other dimensions. The universe wasn't just vast—it was infinite, and Tony was about to step into the unknown.

For months now, strange energy readings had been pinging across his interdimensional detectors. At first, they had been small blips, minor anomalies that could be chalked up to solar flares or deep-space phenomena. But in recent weeks, the anomalies had become more frequent, and more alarming. Last night, an unmistakable signature had appeared from Earth-616—the home universe of Spider-Man. Peter Parker's signal had been strong, but something darker had latched onto it. A pulse of unstable energy that could only be described as… otherworldly. It wasn't just Peter fighting his usual gallery of rogues—something far worse was at play.

"Alright, JARVIS. Set coordinates for Earth-616. Target New York City. I'm guessing Parker's in the thick of it again," Tony said, suiting up in the latest iteration of his Iron Man armor, the Mark XLVIII. This wasn't just any suit—it was built with interdimensional travel in mind, outfitted with phase-shift capabilities and energy dampeners that could shield against fluctuations in the fabric of space-time.

"Coordinates locked. I would caution you, sir, that this is uncharted territory. There's no data on what might await you on the other side," JARVIS warned.

"That's the fun part, isn't it?" Tony grinned as the faceplate of his helmet slid into place. He could feel the suit's systems syncing with his neural network, every movement as fluid as thought itself.

With a deep breath, Tony stepped toward the portal. The energy within the vortex shifted, reacting to his proximity. A faint pulse of electricity ran up his spine as he crossed the threshold.

**WHOOSH.**

The sensation was immediate and overwhelming. The moment his body entered the vortex, he was hit by a barrage of sensory inputs—colors, sounds, and sensations beyond the scope of normal human experience. It was as if reality itself had fractured, and he was drifting through a kaleidoscope of infinite possibilities. He saw flashes of other worlds, fleeting glimpses of universes unlike his own. Some were familiar, others terrifyingly alien. He saw alternate versions of himself—some noble, others monstrous.

**BOOM.**

Suddenly, Tony tumbled out of the vortex, crashing into a new reality. His HUD flickered as the Mark XLVIII recalibrated, adjusting to the new dimensional frequency. Stark stumbled slightly but quickly regained his balance. He scanned his surroundings.

He was in New York City, but it wasn't quite the New York he knew. The buildings looked familiar, the skyline unmistakable, but there was something… off. A subtle distortion in the air, like a mirage at the edge of his vision.

His heads-up display pinged, locating Spider-Man. Tony shot into the air, the thrusters on his suit activating with a burst of light as he soared over the city streets. Below, the familiar sight of Peter Parker—Spider-Man—was engaged in a heated battle. Venom, or at least a version of Venom, was rampaging through downtown Manhattan.

"Hey, Webhead! Need a hand?" Tony called through the suit's comm system, the visor narrowing on Venom as he flew closer.

Peter's voice crackled back through the comms, breathless and strained. "Tony?! You're here? You didn't tell me you were coming to town!"

"Long story," Tony replied, already charging up a repulsor blast. "Let's just say I've come from another universe to save yours."

Peter was barely holding his own against Venom. The symbiote was massive, more monstrous than usual, its inky black form writhing and shifting unnaturally. Tendrils lashed out from its body, tearing through concrete and smashing parked cars as pedestrians fled in terror. Worse, the creature's body seemed to phase in and out of existence, like it was being pulled between dimensions.

"This Venom's… not right," Tony muttered to himself as his sensors began picking up erratic readings from the symbiote. "His energy signature is unstable. He's flickering between realities."

Spider-Man dodged another massive tendril, landing with a thud on a lamppost. "You think?! He's not just your average Eddie Brock knockoff anymore. This thing's got some multiversal mojo going on. I've been hitting him for hours, and nothing sticks."

Tony fired a precision repulsor blast, aiming for the symbiote's center mass. The beam of energy hit its mark, but instead of weakening Venom, the creature let out an unholy, guttural screech. Tony's suit registered a massive energy surge, and the air around Venom began to ripple, distorting like the heatwaves off asphalt.

"Tony, whatever you're doing, stop!" Peter shouted. "He's destabilizing!"

Too late. A pulse of raw energy exploded from Venom's body, sending shockwaves through the area. Stark barely managed to throw up an energy shield, absorbing the brunt of the blast as he skidded backward in midair.

Venom roared, its form flickering even more violently now, parts of its body phasing in and out of existence. Tony's scanners were going haywire, trying to lock onto the creature's erratic movements.

"This isn't just Venom," Tony said, analyzing the data flooding his HUD. "He's infected with some kind of interdimensional energy. Something's pulling him between universes. We need to neutralize him before he tears a hole in reality."

"Well, if you've got a plan, now's the time to share it, because I'm running on fumes here!" Peter shot another webline to a nearby building, swinging in close to avoid a massive swipe from one of Venom's tendrils.

Tony's mind raced. The energy signature wasn't just random—it was multiversal in nature. Venom wasn't just flickering between dimensions; he was absorbing energy from different realities. If they didn't act fast, he'd tear open a rift in the multiverse, unleashing chaos across every universe in existence.

"Alright, new plan. I've got a way to contain him, but we need to get him into a more isolated area. The more damage he causes, the more unstable he gets. We can't let him rip through reality in the middle of Manhattan."

"Lead the way, genius!" Peter shot another webline, swinging toward Tony as Venom chased them both, roaring in rage.

Tony shot forward, leading Venom toward an abandoned construction site on the outskirts of the city. As they flew, his suit's systems began synthesizing a new energy weapon—one designed to isolate and contain the dimensional rift Venom was creating.

Venom lunged at Tony, tendrils whipping through the air. Stark barely dodged, flying higher as he primed the device.

"Okay, Parker, here's the plan. When I give the signal, hit him with everything you've got. We need to overload his system so I can contain the energy surge."

Peter swung around, landing on a half-finished skyscraper. "Got it. Just say the word."

Tony flew above Venom, the containment device glowing as he prepared to activate it. "Now!"

Spider-Man launched himself at Venom, delivering a barrage of webbing and punches, pushing the symbiote to its limit. Venom screeched, its body phasing violently between dimensions, but it couldn't escape.

Tony activated the device. A beam of concentrated energy shot out, enveloping Venom in a containment field. The creature roared in agony as the field contracted, pulling the interdimensional energy out of its form and stabilizing it.

Venom collapsed, the symbiote retreating from its host, leaving behind a dazed and unconscious Eddie Brock.

Tony landed next to Peter, the containment field dissolving as he deactivated the device.

"Well, that was fun," Peter quipped, peeling off his mask and taking a deep breath. "What the hell was that?"

Tony frowned, glancing at the readings on his HUD
