Chapter 3 - Into The Multiverse

The streets of Manhattan lay in ruin. Smoke rose from shattered windows, overturned cars littered the streets, and the air was thick with the scent of burning metal and ozone. Tony Stark's suit hummed softly as he hovered above the battlefield, his sensors scanning for any remaining threats. Doctor Octopus lay unconscious, his mechanical arms sparking feebly, but there was no time to celebrate.

The rest of the Sinister Six—altered by the same multiversal energy—were still very much a threat.

"Tony!" Peter's voice crackled through the comms. "We need to split these guys up, fast! Electro's about to fry half the city grid, and I've got Kraven hot on my tail!"

Tony's HUD pinged with new warnings as his suit registered an escalating energy surge from Electro. His power, already formidable, had been magnified by the multiversal rift. The sky above them flickered with erratic bursts of electricity, casting an eerie glow over the city.

"Stay on Kraven. I'll handle the walking power plant," Tony responded as he banked sharply, rocketing toward Electro. His repulsors fired with a concentrated beam, but Electro saw him coming. With a burst of lightning, he shot into the air, his body crackling with pure energy.

"Nice try, Stark!" Electro shouted, his voice distorted by the power coursing through him. He raised his hands, and a wave of electricity surged toward Tony.

**WHAM!**

Tony barely dodged the attack, rolling in the air as the bolts of lightning lanced past him. He quickly recalibrated, adjusting the power output on his suit to protect against Electro's enhanced energy field. This wasn't like fighting the normal Electro—this was something far more dangerous.

Electro hovered in midair, glowing with multiversal energy. His form shifted slightly, flickering like an unstable hologram, and Tony's sensors went wild as they struggled to lock onto his exact position.

"JARVIS, what are we looking at here?" Tony asked, his voice tight as he prepared for another pass.

"Electro's energy output is fluctuating wildly, sir. It appears he's tapping into multiple dimensions at once, which explains the instability. His power is no longer localized to this universe."

"Fantastic," Tony muttered. "So, we've got a dimensional lightning rod on the loose."

Below, Spider-Man was locked in a frantic battle with Kraven the Hunter. Kraven had always been a fierce adversary, but now his speed and strength were off the charts. Peter barely had time to dodge the hunter's relentless attacks, each one more brutal than the last. He had never seen Kraven move like this before—it was as though he was being fueled by something primal, something otherworldly.

"Come on, Parker," Kraven snarled, his voice thick with bloodlust. "I've hunted you in *my* world, and I'll hunt you here, too!"

Peter dodged a swipe from Kraven's spear and shot a webline to a nearby building, using it to pull himself out of the way of a second strike. "You've gotta work on your one-liners, Kraven! I think I've heard that one in, like, five different dimensions already!"

He launched himself into the air, but Kraven was fast—faster than Peter had anticipated. With a roar, the hunter leapt after him, slashing wildly with his spear. Spider-Man twisted in midair, firing another webline to pull himself clear just in time, but Kraven wasn't done. He landed on the side of a building with inhuman grace and began sprinting vertically, chasing after Peter.

"Tony, a little help here? I'm running out of skyscrapers to swing from!" Peter called out, flipping away from Kraven's reach.

Tony was too busy dealing with Electro to respond immediately. Electro unleashed another burst of lightning, and Tony barely managed to raise his energy shields in time. The electricity crackled across the barrier, sending sparks flying. Tony's suit groaned under the strain.

"We're not going to win this by playing defense," Tony muttered to himself. "We need to shut him down—fast."

He quickly recalibrated his suit's energy dampeners, channeling extra power to his repulsors. If he could get close enough, he might be able to overload Electro's energy field and disrupt his connection to the multiverse.

Tony darted forward, weaving through the bolts of lightning that Electro hurled at him. His sensors locked onto the villain's core energy signature—the same kind of signature he had seen in Venom and Doc Ock. He just needed a clear shot.

"Come on, you walking battery," Tony muttered as he closed the distance.

Electro raised his hands, his entire body crackling with power. "You really think you can stop me, Stark? I've got the power of a thousand worlds running through me!"

"Yeah, well, I've got something you don't: a *plan*."

Tony's repulsors flared as he fired a focused energy pulse directly at Electro's chest. The beam hit its mark, and for a moment, Electro's body flickered wildly, the multiversal energy inside him destabilizing. Sparks flew, and a shockwave rippled through the air as Electro screamed in agony.

For a split second, Tony thought he had won. But then Electro's form stabilized, and he laughed, his body glowing brighter than ever. "Nice try, Stark, but it's going to take more than that to stop me!"

Tony gritted his teeth. "Alright, Plan B it is."

Before Electro could react, Tony surged forward and grabbed him by the chest, sending a direct surge of energy through his suit and into Electro's core. It was a gamble, but Tony had designed his suit to handle massive energy fluctuations. He just hoped it was enough.

The energy surge hit Electro hard, and his body spasmed violently. The multiversal energy began to unravel, tearing at the fabric of reality around them. Electro's form flickered again, and this time it didn't stabilize. His body glowed brighter and brighter, until finally—

**BOOM.**

With a deafening explosion of light, Electro's body collapsed in on itself, the multiversal energy dissipating into the air. Tony was thrown back by the force of the blast, but his suit's stabilizers kicked in, and he managed to land safely on the ground.

Electro lay motionless on the street, his body smoking. Whatever multiversal energy had been powering him was gone now.

"One down," Tony muttered, wiping a bit of soot from his armor.

He turned his attention to Spider-Man, who was still locked in battle with Kraven. Peter was holding his own, but Kraven's newfound speed and strength were making the fight far more dangerous than usual.

Tony activated his thrusters and shot toward them, firing a quick repulsor blast at Kraven to give Peter some breathing room.

Kraven snarled, spinning toward Tony with fury in his eyes. "You think you can hunt me, Stark? I am the greatest hunter in the multiverse! No man can escape me!"

"Yeah? Well, I'm not a man—I'm Iron Man."

With a flash, Tony unleashed another pulse of energy, aiming for Kraven's core. The hunter roared in pain as the blast hit, his form flickering just like Electro's had. For a moment, Kraven's body shifted between dimensions, his form glitching in and out of existence.

Tony took advantage of the momentary distraction. "Parker, now!"

Peter didn't hesitate. He fired a webline at Kraven's legs, pulling the hunter off-balance before launching himself into the air. With a powerful kick, he slammed into Kraven's chest, sending the villain crashing to the ground.

Kraven's body flickered again, the multiversal energy inside him destabilizing just like Electro's had. With one final snarl, Kraven collapsed, the energy dissipating from his body.

Peter landed next to Tony, breathing heavily. "Please tell me that's the last of them."

Tony scanned the area. His HUD was finally clear of multiversal anomalies, and the rest of the Sinister Six—those who hadn't been taken down—were retreating into the shadows.

"For now, yeah," Tony replied, his voice grim. "But something tells me this is just the beginning."

Peter wiped some sweat from his brow and sighed. "Of course it is. It's never just the end, is it?"

Before Tony could respond, his HUD pinged with a new alert—this time coming from the portal back at Stark Tower. A series of unfamiliar energy readings were spiking, and they weren't just from this universe. Whatever had destabilized the multiverse wasn't finished yet.

Tony frowned. "We've got another problem, Parker. Something's coming through."

Peter groaned. "Something *else*? Tony, I'm running on empty here."

"Trust me, I know the feeling," Tony said, already preparing to head back to the portal. "But we don't have a choice. The multiverse is in danger, and we've only seen the tip of the iceberg."

Peter stared at the distant skyline, where dark clouds were beginning to gather. "Great. So what's next? Another dimension? Another me?"

Tony glanced at him, his expression serious. "Maybe. But whatever's coming, we need to be ready. This fight isn't over."

As Tony and Peter headed back toward Stark Tower, the cracks in the multiverse continued to widen. Across countless dimensions, dark forces were stirring, and heroes from every corner of the multiverse would soon be called upon to face a threat unlike anything they had ever
