The sea around Totto Land was choppy, fog rolling over the water, giving the ocean an eerie, hidden appearance. The Straw Hat Pirates, along with the Mink Tribe and Samurai allies, advanced silently, with one goal in mind—take down Big Mom and her territories, island by island. The Thousand Sunny led the charge, its lion figurehead cutting a path through the fog as the Straw Hat Grand Fleet accompanied them in smaller ships.
They approached the first island, Nuts Island, which lay on the periphery of Big Mom's domain. The inhabitants were oblivious, going about their daily lives, as the fog cloaked the invasion force. It wasn't long before the residents were alerted to the sound of battle—Luffy had been the first to charge ashore, his fists glowing with Armament Haki as he slammed through the Charlotte soldiers guarding the town.
"Take them down quickly! No one must leave the island!" Zoro's voice rang out as he charged alongside Luffy, his three swords flashing in the dim light, cutting through anyone who dared to stand in their way. His frustration from the previous battles against Fujitora fueled his attacks, and each strike was more ruthless than the last.
Nami stayed back, commanding the weather with her Climatact, sending bolts of lightning from the sky into groups of enemies. The Mink warriors, in their Sulong form, stormed through the island, their power devastating everything in their path. Carrot's movements were swift and brutal, her eyes glowing red as she leapt from target to target.
Robin stood at the highest point of the town, her eyes narrowed, her powers now merging with the Fruit of Ruptures. Massive black arms sprouted from the ground, grabbing her enemies and causing them to explode into shards of glass-like fractures. It was an efficient and terrifying sight. "This is practice," Robin murmured, a dark smile touching her lips as she watched her enemies fall apart.
One by one, the islands that made up Big Mom's territory were taken, leaving behind nothing but devastation. The Straw Hats took control of every important checkpoint, neutralizing communications to prevent any messages from reaching the Yonko. After a relentless series of assaults, they had already taken half of Totto Land, destroying Big Mom's influence along the way.
Big Mom's Chateau – Whole Cake Island
The screams of her children echoed through the chateau as they frantically reported the unthinkable—half of their territory had fallen, and not a single soldier had made it back. The main hall of the castle was in chaos, Big Mom's children rushing to and fro, panicking as they tried to gather forces.
Big Mom herself was sitting on her throne, her lips twisting into a furious snarl as she listened to the casualty reports. "What did you say?" she roared, her voice shaking the entire hall. "Half of my islands?!"
The minister who delivered the news shivered, barely managing to stutter, "Y-yes, Mama. They... they left only one survivor, and he has just returned with their message."
Big Mom's rage was palpable. "And what was the message?"
The minister looked down, trembling as he relayed, "They... they said they will come later."
Big Mom's laughter filled the room, loud and mocking. "Those foolish little pirates... they think they can take on me? Charlotte Linlin?! Send my children, all of them! Send them to crush the invaders!"
The survivors of the Straw Hat attack had been left in despair, and one had managed to return to report, but he never made it back to Whole Cake Island before Luffy and his crew. The Straw Hats sailed in the cover of the dense fog, moving faster than anyone anticipated, and had already reached the final destination: Whole Cake Island itself.
Whole Cake Chateau – The Tea Party
The grand hall of Whole Cake Chateau was decorated lavishly, filled with sweets and sweets-themed decorations. Despite the numerous losses, the tea party still went on as planned. Big Mom was seated at the head of a long, ornately-decorated table. A huge cake stood in the center, adorned with sugar-crafted figures of her family and guests. The atmosphere was strained, the empty seats of her fallen children glaringly obvious.
Big Mom's laughter was cut short as an unexpected figure appeared, kicking open the main door to the tea party.
Monkey D. Luffy, with a feral grin on his face.
Without hesitation, he stormed through the hall, ignoring the stunned looks from Big Mom's children and other guests, and aimed a kick directly at the picture of Mother Carmel.
The sound of shattered glass echoed through the silent hall, the broken pieces falling to the ground. Big Mom's eyes widened in shock, her face contorting into an expression of pure, unbridled rage.
"Straw Hat!" she screamed, her voice filled with disbelief and fury. The guests panicked, scrambling to flee, but Luffy was already in motion. With a swift kick, imbued with both Armament Haki and the power of his amplified strength, he booted Big Mom out of the castle, sending her flying through the wall, out into the open.
As the dust settled, the battle had begun.
The chaos of the tea party allowed the Straw Hat and Mink Alliance to slip in unnoticed, each of them carrying out their designated missions. The Samurai of Wano sought out Big Mom's poneglyph, while the Minks worked to free their imprisoned comrades. Nami and Brook joined them, using their own abilities to help navigate the sprawling chateau.
Chopper and Law went straight to the medical facility, intending to sabotage the guards and rescue any prisoners that were being experimented on. Franky had joined them, intent on causing as much mechanical sabotage as possible.
Zoro, in his fury, had one command from Luffy—eliminate anyone with ties to Big Mom.
And Zoro did just that. His swords flashed through the hallways of Whole Cake Chateau, cutting down any enemy that came his way. His rage, fueled by the dishonor of his last fight, was a driving force, and his strikes were merciless.
Outside the Chateau
Luffy stood, facing down Big Mom in the open courtyard, his body crackling with lightning, his muscles taut. He had yet to unleash his full power, but his expression was serious. This was a Yonko, and despite his confidence, he knew how dangerous she was.
Big Mom, on the other hand, was frothing at the mouth, her hair aflame with Prometheus, her eyes wild with rage. "You... you dare attack my family and my home?!"
Luffy met her gaze evenly. "You mess with my crew, you pay the price. I told you, Big Mom, I'm going to take it all!"
Big Mom's scream of fury shook the air, her massive fist coated in Haki as she swung at Luffy. Luffy dodged, his form blurring as he used the power of his More More Fruit to enhance his speed, landing behind her, his leg glowing with plasma.
Luffy roared, slamming his foot into Big Mom's back, sending her skidding across the courtyard, her massive form slamming into a wall.
The chaos of battle spread throughout the island, the alliance splitting up Big Mom's forces, taking them out in sections to ensure no one could come to her aid. The Straw Hats worked with brutal efficiency, each of them focused on their objectives, determined to dismantle the Yonko's power.
The chapter ended with the Straw Hat alliance scattering Big Mom's forces, the battlefield stretching across the entirety of Whole Cake Island. As Big Mom struggled to her feet, her fury was overwhelming, but Luffy stood there, unfazed, ready to take her down.
