Straw Hats vs. Big Mom Pirates
The once vibrant and festive Whole Cake Chateau had now turned into a chaotic battlefield. The children of Big Mom had been mobilized across the island, engaging in brutal battles with the Straw Hat Pirates. Each member of the crew faced off against a powerful child of Big Mom, and the tension in the air was electric.
Sora vs. Charlotte Smoothie
Sora stood across from Charlotte Smoothie, the towering Sweet Commander with her massive sword in hand. Smoothie's eyes narrowed as she assessed her opponent. Sora, had changed significantly since the days when she only knew her as a Vinsmoke.
The air crackled between them, Smoothie making the first move by slashing her enormous blade towards Sora, the strike leaving a deep cut in the ground. Sora, with her speed and elegance, dodged effortlessly, her Diable Jambe heating up her leg as she launched herself into a spinning kick.
"Diable Jambe: Vague Strike!" she called, her foot a blazing blur that smashed into Smoothie's blade, sparks flying.
For a time, their fight remained evenly matched. Smoothie, with her powerful Haki and size, kept trying to overwhelm Sora, while Sora used her agility and finesse to stay one step ahead.
But as the minutes ticked by, Sora grew bored of the exchange. This constant back-and-forth lacked the excitement she craved. Her eyes darkened, and she clenched her fists, coating them in both Armament and Conqueror's Haki.
"Enough of this," she muttered, her voice cold as ice. In a flash, Sora disappeared from Smoothie's sight, reappearing right behind her. With a spin, she unleashed a devastating kick to the back of Smoothie's head, amplifying her power with her own Diable Jambe and Haki.
Smoothie's eyes widened, her vision blurring, and before she could react, Sora's follow-up kick came crashing into her neck. The force of the blow shattered the bones, and Smoothie's massive form slumped to the ground.
Zoro vs. Charlotte Cracker
Elsewhere, Roronoa Zoro faced off against Charlotte Cracker, the commander infamous for his unyielding Biscuit Warriors. Zoro's swords were already out, his eyes fierce as he cleaved through Cracker's biscuit soldiers one after another.
"Is that all you've got?" Zoro grunted, his voice laced with annoyance. Cracker, furious, emerged from behind one of his biscuit creations, launching a flurry of attacks with his Haki-coated swords.
For a while, it was an even match. Cracker's biscuit soldiers reformed as quickly as Zoro could cut them down, and Cracker's attacks were relentless. The battlefield was filled with the sound of clashing blades, and both warriors moved at lightning speeds.
But Zoro's frustration began to boil over. He remembered his inability to finish off Fujitora and how he needed to grow stronger.
"I've had enough of your stupid biscuits," he growled, his eyes narrowing dangerously.
Zoro took a deep breath, gripping his swords as he focused his power. His aura expanded, dark and powerful, as he unleashed his most powerful technique yet.
"Nitoryu: Yasha-no-Kiba!"
Two enormous slashes of dark, jagged energy erupted from Zoro's swords, tearing through the biscuit soldiers and slamming into Cracker. The commander let out a shocked gasp as the energy cleaved through his Haki defense, cutting him down before he could even react.
Zoro didn't waste time; he turned and began walking towards the main battle. He had more important things to do.
Nico Robin vs. Charlotte Compote
Compote, one of Big Mom's elder children, faced off against Nico Robin. The battlefield around them was chaotic, with other Big Mom pirates falling one after another, but Compote had managed to hold her own against Robin for quite some time.
Robin's Hana-Hana powers combined with her Rupture Fruit had allowed her to toy with her opponent for a while, creating hands that grabbed at Compote and causing small explosions on contact. Compote swung her large spear, managing to fend off Robin's limbs, but it was becoming clear that she was growing fatigued.
Robin's face remained calm, her expression betraying none of her thoughts, but inside she was already growing weary of the stalemate.
"Time to finish this," Robin said quietly, closing her eyes.
The next moment, dozens of massive black arms sprouted from the ground, each one charged with the destructive power of the Rupture Fruit. They grabbed hold of Compote, lifting her into the air as she struggled.
"Rupture... Finale," Robin whispered.
The giant hands squeezed, and with a terrible cracking sound, Compote's body exploded into glass-like shards. Robin watched, expressionless, as the pieces fell to the ground. She had wasted enough time on this.
Brook vs. Charlotte Perospero
Brook had been engaged in a dance-like battle against Charlotte Perospero, the candy-manipulating eldest son. Brook weaved between Perospero's candy tendrils, his own sword, Soul Solid, flashing as he struck out repeatedly.
"Yohoho! It's been a while since I had a partner to dance with!" Brook said cheerfully, even as he parried another candy attack.
Perospero scowled, his annoyance growing. He tried to trap Brook in a large mass of candy, but Brook slipped through, his ethereal form allowing him to glide effortlessly.
However, Brook was growing tired of this. He had other things to do—Poneglyphs to copy, minks to save, and, most importantly, he wanted to watch his captain fight Big Mom.
"I think it's time to end this, Perorin," Brook said, his tone becoming serious.
He focused his energy, channeling the cold of the underworld. "Soul Parade: Ice Guillotine!"
In an instant, Brook moved faster than Perospero could follow, his sword cleaving through the candy man's defenses, leaving a trail of frost behind. Perospero let out a strangled gasp, his body freezing over as Brook's sword cut clean through him.
Brook turned, sheathing his blade, as Perospero's frozen form shattered behind him.
Franky vs. Charlotte Daifuku
Franky faced off against Daifuku, the genie-summoning son of Big Mom. The genie loomed above them, its scimitar swinging at Franky with devastating force, but Franky held his ground, using his advanced mechanical enhancements to counter every strike.
For a while, the battle seemed balanced, with Franky blocking and returning each of Daifuku's attacks. The genie was powerful, but Franky's "Iron Pirate" form was no less formidable.
Eventually, though, Franky grew tired of the exchange. He had better things to do than waste time here.
"Alright, you overgrown lamp!" Franky shouted, grinning. "Time for a SUPER finish!"
He activated his strongest weapon yet—"General Cannon: Radical Beam!"
The powerful energy blast shot forth, obliterating the genie and Daifuku in one fell swoop, leaving nothing but scorched earth in its wake. Franky dusted off his hands, satisfied.
All across Whole Cake Island, similar scenes played out, the core members of the Straw Hat crew facing off against Big Mom's children. Each fight was hard-fought, the strength of Big Mom's offspring undeniable, but when the crew grew bored or annoyed by the constant draws, they simply ended the battles in brutal fashion.
With their opponents defeated, they regrouped, ready to move on to their true objectives—retrieving the Poneglyphs, freeing the minks, and witnessing their captain take on a Yonko.
