" What's happening here? " He looked at the Unspeakables. " Why hasn't their magic been sealed yet?"
"Mr. Minister, we cannot," responded one of the Unspeakables behind him.
"And you shouldn't try," Minerva added.
"Minerva? What are you doing here?" said the annoyed minister. "This is no longer Hogwarts' business."
"I know," she replied. "But we are here." She pointed to her two companions. "As Mr. Potter's private tutors."
"What nonsense is that?" said a high-pitched voice next to the minister. Everyone looked with amazement and some repulsion at the woman, if she could be called that, with a pink dress and a face that could only remind them of a large toad. " This is a simple case of sealing the magic of two dark creatures without training. Nobody needs a teacher here for anything."
"The law is clear! " added Mediwizard Chaise. " Any Noble from an ancient family is authorized to continue his studies with private tutors if it is his wish or it is necessary."
"What does that have to do with those creatures?" said the woman, looking at the two beds with disgust.
" Harry Potter is the last of his family and since he is 13 years old he is considered the head of his house. " The mediwizard began, annoyed with the woman. " The terrible accident he has suffered allows him to take advantage of that option by right since he cannot continue studying at Hogwarts."
" That's just a damn dark creature! " The woman continued. " And soon it will have its magic bound and thrown out of our world."
[T/N: This Ugly F*cking Toad sure likes to act important for a simple secretory, sorry under-secretory]
"Not in St. Mungo's," said the Mediwizard.
" It's an order from the Minister of Magic! " said the woman. The mediwizard laughed. " How dare you laugh at me?! " the annoyed woman almost shouted. " I am Dolores Umbridge, undersecretary of the minister of magic! I'll make sure you get fired, I'll talk to the director of this place, and...!"
" Shut up, stupid! " said the annoyed mediwizard out loud. The witch gave a small jump of fear. " Before speaking, first inform yourself. I am Ernest Chaise, director of St. Mungo's. " The woman controlled herself for a second. " And if you boast so much about your position, it would be better if you informed yourself first. " She looked at the teachers. " The law is on their side. It doesn't matter what you think of my patients! The fact is that Harry Potter is a head of a household and therefore, if it is his wish, he can take all the private tutors he wants and finish his magical education."
"The Wizengamot...!" the woman tried to say.
" Shut up, damn it! " the mediwizard interrupted, to the satisfaction of many. " Think before you speak. Do you think that a single pure blood would consent to what you wanted to do to a head of a house? " He smiled. " It would be a claim that would undermine his status. " He looked at the minister. " It would be the last thing the person who did it would do in his career."
Cornelius Funge had remained silent since the word law and head of house was uttered. He had heard the whole conversation and knew that it was all true and he couldn't, rather he shouldn't, do anything.
The plan to take advantage of the boy's ignorance of his rights and take away everything he could had disappeared instantly. Just by hinting at the punishment would be losing his position. From there everything was possible. When the Mediwizard dropped the ultimatum he knew it was a losing battle.
"Dolores, it's true," he said finally. The woman looked at him and she was about to protest. The look he gave her, she held back.
[T/N: She really thinks she's the Minister.]
" Good! Okay! " the annoying woman finally admitted. She looked at the girl." But she doesn't have that advantage. She is a…Muggleborn and therefore the Ministry can perform the ritual and bind her magic."
" You are wrong again, ma'am! " The last word was marked with irony.
"She doesn't dare...!"
" What is the girl's name? " the mediwizard asked. " Answer!"
"Her name is her..." She looked at the Aurors who accompanied her and one approached her and whispered something in her ear. "Hermione Granger," she finished with satisfaction.
"Another sign of your incompetence," he responded to the mediwizard, before the furious witch. "Mr. Minister, I think you should consider looking for more competent personnel." As he said so, he handed him a parchment that the minister read. Only a second later Fudge's open eyes told him what he wanted. " Can you say her last name so that... your assistant sees her mistake."
" Potter." Funge said in a low voice." Her last name is… Potter." Dolores took the parchment and read it.
"It's not possible!" said the witch. "How did they get married?" She looked at them." They are…!" she read the parchment." Thirteen years old!"
"That's the only thing I can't answer." said the mediwizard Chaise." But there is no doubt that they are married."
" You! " Dolores pointed to the head of San Mungo. " You have rigged the report to save this dirty blood...!"
" Be careful! " the mediwizard raised his voice. "You're about to make two mistakes! Insulting my integrity as a healer and the wife of an ancient house head. " Cornelius knew Chaise's fame well and knew that this could turn against him. He decided to intervene by grabbing his follower by her arm to calm her down.
"They can't be married, it's illegal!" the woman finally shouted, looking at her boss.
"Dolores, I think we should figure out what happened before acting," the minister said in a low voice, trying to control the damage.
An Unspeakable approached.
" Sorry! But... we can have an idea of what has happened." Everyone looked at them with interest." We think it may be a case of "Sanguis Nuptialis". A marriage by blood. They are both wounded and if they got engaged... The magic recognized them as a couple."
" They have performed dark magic! " Umbridge almost shouted. " Blood magic is illegal!"
" Incompetence again! " Mediwizard Chaise almost growled in annoyance. " Tell that if you dare to a pureblood. " He snorted. " You should know that it is a custom of all ancient families. " He looked at Fudge amused. " It is an old and almost obsolete custom. But surely even the minister has attended a couple of blood weddings. " Funge simply nodded.
" That magic is accepted by the ministry as one of the few that can be performed with blood. " The Unspeakable clarified. " The union would produce a flash of magic when performed. " An auror remembered something.
" We saw something like that last night! " Everyone looked at him. " A white flash guided us boys."
"Then there is no doubt." the Unspeakable finished." They are married."
" Now, 'ma'am.' " said the headmaster of St. Mungo's, looking amused at the minister's undersecretary. " Do you dare to suggest that Mrs. Potter's magic be tied?"
" It won't be necessary! " Fudge said, pulling the toad woman to prevent her from saying anything else. " It was all a misunderstanding! " He looked at the teachers. " I'm sorry for the problems and I hope... they recover. Minerva! Could you tell Dumbledore that I would like to meet with him when possible?"
"You will have to do it yourself," she replied. "As of today, I no longer teach at Hogwarts." The minister stopped short.
" Just like me! " Pomona added.
" My case is the same! " Fitwick said smiling. " That is the reason why we are here as private tutors."
" Has Albus fired you? " The minister said surprised. He knew very well the talent of the three.
" No! We decided that it was better to change jobs. " The little professor responded. " Irreconcilable differences with the management of the center! " Everyone understood that there was more than what he wanted to say.
Funge nodded seriously and left accompanied by his lackeys. At the door, Amelia Bones appeared with a big smile, under a cloak of invisibility. The Aurors and Unspeakables tensed at the sight of her.
"Amelia!" Minerva began." When...?"
"I've heard it all," replied the head of magical law enforcement. "Came in with our... minister." He decided to wait to see what would happen. " She smiled. " In case I had to stop him for... not obeying the law! " When she finished, he looked at the aurors who tensed. " We'll talk later. " The wizards nodded quickly.
" And what do you think? " McGonagall asked.
" Completely agree! " The ministerial witch responded. " If you need anything, do not hesitate to let me know. " Having said this and with a slight signal, she left the room smiling, followed by the terrified Aurors, and Unspeakable.
[SCENE BREAK]
Only the three professors and the head of St. Mungo's remained in the room with the couple. It didn't take long for the Medi-Mages to leave to let their boss discuss the situation.
"Saint Mungo will be in charge of taking care of them until they recover," the director of the magical hospital began. "Then it is your job to inform..." he smiled as he said it. "The Potters about what happened and their options." Minerva looked annoyed at the amused face of her old friend. "A pleasure Minerva, come by my office for tea," he finished as he left the room.
"I have to tell her parents," McGonagall said, looking at Hermione.
"It would be better if you stayed until they lose their teeth," said Pomona. The Scotswoman denied it.
"Her parents must be here. It will be easier to explain everything to them with the kids asleep," Minerva replied. "They will have time to accept it and they will help us explain it to them when they wake up."
A nurse brought an owl with a letter.
" Sorry. But this owl has a letter for Mr. Potter and he won't let us take it from him."
Minerva recognized the Gringotts emblem.
"I'm Mr. Potter's teacher," she said to the bird. "He can't take the letter from you. Would it be acceptable for me to do it? " the owl denied.
"You can't, Minerva," Filius said, looking at the bird. "It's a notification owl. The letter is enchanted so that only Harry can open it. He will have to wait for him to wake up."
A very upset nurse, because of how unhealthy it was to have an owl in a room with sick people, left the bird with the teachers. McGonagall transfigured a perch for the bird and Fitwick created a barrier around it to keep the area clean.
After that Minerva left the room for an awkward meeting.
[SCENE BREAK]
Minerva was in front of a beautiful two-story house in a residential neighborhood. It was the second visit to this place and this time she knew that the conversation would not end like the first time.
She sighed before heading to the entrance and ringing the doorbell.
Shortly after she tensed up as she heard footsteps approaching her.
Daniel Granger opened the door and recognized the serious woman. As soon as he saw her he knew that something had happened and he wouldn't like to know what.
"Enma!" he shouted as he indicated to the woman to enter.
"What's wrong?" a woman responded as she approached. Seeing the serious woman, she became worried. "Oh god, Hermione!" What happened to her?! Is she okay?!" The old woman raised her hands to silence her.
"Let's sit down and talk," the old woman responded. Dan knew very well that that answer was not good.
"I think our daughter will not attend that madhouse they call school, ever again," said the man.
"That is one of the issues we have to discuss." said the woman, sitting on a sofa.
" Please tell me what happened! " Enma Granger asked on the verge of hysteria.
McGonagall took a breath and began to speak.
" Last night an accident occurred at Hogwarts. " The old woman looked at them. " An animal attacked Hermione and Harry Potter. " The couple hugged each other, scared. " They are both alive and safe! They only suffered a small wound on their arm. " The couple looked at her without understanding.
" Then why...? " Enma was upset and relieved.
"A werewolf bit them," the old woman answered. The couple remained silent. " I think you know the legends about those creatures. " When she said it, both parents opened their eyes when they understood it.
" Do you mean that our little girl...? " Daniel Granger began terrified.
"They are both infected with the curse," the old woman said. The man stood up and took a couple of steps, holding his head tightly due to the helplessness he felt.
" No! Shit! Noo! " said the man. His wife reacted to this.
" What happens now with my daughter... and the boy? What will become of them? " Hermione's mother asked.
"I think you already understand the basics," she answered regretfully. "Every full moon... they will become bloodthirsty creatures. Although, many advances have been made and with a regimen of potions the beast can be controlled. " The couple heard what the life of their daughter would be like holding each other to give each other comfort.
McGonagall explained in detail what was happening. She explained the situation of a person affected by the curse in the magical world and what she could expect in the muggle world. She also added what happened to two of the most powerful and influential men in the magical world. The Grangers were disgusted to hear the position of both the government and the Headmaster.
"How can that... old man pretend to be one thing and be another?! " Dan finally said, disgusted and furious.
" But they are only two children! " Enma protested when she heard her. " They are not to blame for anything!"
" It's the same opinion that I and two of my colleagues have. " The annoyed old woman responded. " That's why it's been less than three hours since we presented our resignation. " The parents didn't understand why she said that. " Hermione hasn't finished her magical education. The law is clear. Her wand must be destroyed and her magic bound. All knowledge of her and you about the magical world must be erased." Dan approached the woman.
"They touch a hair of my daughter...!" said the man, his wife took him by the hand and made him sit down.
" We can do something! " said the woman. Minerva knew that the worst would come to her now.
"No, but..." she sighed. "Harry Potter's case is different. He is the last of a very old family and the law authorizes him to continue his studies with private teachers. " She stood up proudly. " I and my colleagues have offered to take that position."
" I mean! That apart from informing us about how her world intends to expel our daughter for something that is only the fault of that old bastard. " Dan began. " Are you telling us that they turn a blind eye to the boy?"
" Noo! On the contrary! " The woman responded. " They wanted to do the same to Harry Potter as they did to your daughter. But also, they intended to take away his entire fortune and abandon him with... those people they call his family. " She looked at them before saying anything else. " There is something I haven't told you. Both with their magic sealed and without the possibility of receiving help from the magical world, living with Muggles, it would be a matter of time before they ended up attacking someone. " She looked at them. " Almost certainly their families. " The couple looked at her perplexed. " Then, Therefore, the law requires the elimination of dangerous animals."
"Sons of bitches!" Hermione's father shouted.
" But how can they think of doing something like that?! " added Hermione's upset mother. " Leave them free, without help or supervision, to kill and then sacrifice them!"
" Something I won't let happen to either of them! " added the Scottish woman. " Especially after the life Harry has led."
"I don't understand," said Enma.
" I know little about what really happens. " the Scottish woman began. " Most of it is just speculation and conversations overheard. " sigh. " But this young man's life leaves a lot to be desired so far."
Minerva explained how little she knew about the boy's life. She started with what she saw when they left little Harry with his aunt and uncle. She added some of the comments heard in the infirmary, order meetings, and from various redheads in the hallways.
The Grangers looked at her in amazement. It couldn't be possible that something like this could happen and no one would notice.
" And I'm sure it must be worse! " the old woman finished. " I come directly from St. Mungo's, our hospital, to face the ministry. It has cost us a great effort to get them to leave Harry alone." Minerva pouted." Dumbledore dared to force everything and leave him in ruin."
" So... " Enma began. " Will our Hermione be able to... also take classes that way? " The old woman denied.
"Hermione's destiny was what I told her," the woman replied.
" Wait a moment! " Enma interrupted her. " What was it like?! " The Scottish woman knew that now came the difficult part.
" When we tried to defend them we discovered something that we had no idea about. " The woman began. " It seems that when they were wounded, their blood mixed. " The couple nodded, encouraging her to continue. " They had to make some kind of promise before fainting. " She sighed before releasing the big news. " There is an ancient and still valid ritual. " The couple looked at each other without understanding. " In ancient times, magicians united their blood with this ritual and were considered united in... marriage."
" No way! " said the man.
" What nonsense is this?! " Enma added. " What kind of... people allow two children to get married?! " Minerva raised her hands in a conciliatory sign.
"I assure you that it is all true and... legal." She looked at them." For the rest of the world, your daughter is now Mrs. Potter." The couple began to protest against the witch. She just sighed and endured the storm. In the end, she decided that it was best for them to go with her daughter. " Everything will be clarified as soon as possible and we will get more answers. Now I have come to collect you. Hermione will wake up soon and I think she will need her parents."
The couple looked at each other and quickly went up to her room to pick up some things they might need.
[SCENE BREAK]
Fifteen minutes later the couple crossed the doors of St. Mungo's for the first time, accompanied by McGonagall.
They easily reached the room where they had no problem recognizing their daughter lying on the bed.
"Hermione!" they almost shouted at the same time.
"The mediwizard who is treating them has said that it will not take long for them to recover," Pomona said to Minerva.
"Then we arrived on time," the Scottish woman responded.
The reality was that it took more than three hours for both Harry and Hermione to show the first symptoms of mobility or attempts to wake up.
In the end, the first to do it was Hermione.
With her vision somewhat blurred, the first thing she saw was her parents.
"Dad, Mom?" she said with difficulty.
"Don't try hard," her mother said. Suddenly the girl opened her eyes quickly.
"The werewolf...!" she tried to get up and her parents stopped her.
" No problem! You're in... St. Mungo's," her father added. The girl quickly looked at her bandaged arm and she understood everything.
"He bit me," she said, moaning. "I'm a..." She remembered something else. "Harry!"
"He's here," her mother said, moving away from her enough for her daughter to see the brunette. "Also..."
"He tried to protect me," she said crying. "He stood in front of Professor Lupine."
"I doubt he regrets anything he did," Minerva added. The young girl saw her favorite teacher.
"Professor, you have to tell the Headmaster!" she began quickly. "He has to know that Professor Lupine doesn't...!" the old woman silenced her with a wave of her hand.
"Everything has already been said and done," she paused. "And everyone has been notified, even the ministry."
"That means...!" Hermione opened her eyes as she understood what would happen. "We will lose our magic." She began to cry again. "Oh Harry, I'm sorry it was my fault that you...!"
"None of that will happen," Minerva added. The young woman looked hopefully at the Scottish woman.
" The headmaster convinced someone to…?! " The brunette's sentence was left halfway with McGonagall's negative gesture. " So…?"
" Harry Potter is the last of his family. " Flitwich said. " By right, a lord of an old house. " When speaking, he nodded in greeting. " The law allows him, in a case like yours, to continue his studies. With a private tutor."
" That is to say! That the mystery cannot touch him," Pomona finished smiling.
"I'm rooting for him," said the brunette, crying and smiling at the same time. Then she looked at the Scottish witch." When will they make me...?"
"The sealing of your magic?" Minerva asked. The girl nodded with fear reflected in her eyes." For the moment, never."
" Why? " She asked, surprised. " The law says that… " At that moment a mediwitch entered and saw the girl awake.
" Well! It seems that one of my patients has woken up. " The witch took out her wand and began to do some diagnostic spells on the brunette. " How are you, Mrs. Potter? " Hermione was petrified when she heard her. " Any discomfort or discomfort? Discomfort? Does the wound still hurt? " Mechanically the girl shook her head. " Great. It won't take long for your husband to wake up. My boss will come later to talk to both of you."She looked at everyone present." Meanwhile, I think you have to talk about several topics. See you in a while." As she said it with the same calmness with which she entered, she left the room.
Hermione watched her leave and then looked at each person present. She finally squeezed her parents' hand before speaking.
" Is there any plan underway that I should know about? " asked the young woman.
"No. At the moment we are waiting for Harry to wake up to start everything," Minerva clarified.
" So, why...? " Hermione pointed to the door of the room. " Did the mediwitch call me... Mrs. Potter? And she said that Harry is... my... husband? " When she finished she looked at her parents.
"Because since the incident," Minerva began. "It seems that you are both married in the eyes of magic." Hermione let out a nervous laugh before fainting.
"Hermione!" both of her parents shouted when they saw her fall. At that moment the mediwitch entered the room again.
"That was quick," she said as she handed them a bottle of potion. "I figured she would need it. Let her smell it and wake up." she thought for a moment." Don't put it too far away, I'm sure you'll need it with Mr. Potter." she finished as she came out smiling.
[SCENE BREAK]
When Harry woke up the smells and sensations told him that he was in the Hogwarts infirmary.
As he got used to the light he recognized Professor McGonagall.
"Madame Pomfrey can start scolding me now," he said, trying to make a joke. "I'm awake."
" I'm afraid you're wrong, Mr. Potter. " Minerva responded. " You are in St. Mungo. " Harry opened his eyes in surprise. " Do you remember what happened? " Everything that happened came back suddenly.
" Oh damn! " Harry touched the bandage on his arm. " I'm infected, right?
"We are," Hermione said. He looked at her.
" I'm sorry, I tried to…! " He saw the girl's parents. " Messrs. Granger, I assure you that I tried to…! " The couple nodded and the brunette's mother lovingly grabbed her hand.
[T/N: I am not having a stroke, Messrs is a real word meaning to refer to two people with the sir and Mrs and the same time, or sir and sir.]
" We know." Enma Granger responded." And we thank you!"
"We have nothing to reproach you," Daniel Granger added somewhat nervously. The boy nodded in relief.
"How is Professor Lupin doing? " said the boy. He saw that everyone became serious. " What's wrong?"
"The Aurors hunted down Remus Lupin," said Minerva, "for attacking two Hogwarts students."
"Noo!" the brunette almost shouted. Hermione got out of her bed and went over to comfort him.
"He died as a werewolf." Filius Fitwick added." He died without knowing what had happened. At least he won't suffer for having infected you."
Harry held back his tears holding onto Hermione.
"Why didn't Professor Dumbledore do anything?" he asked. Again the serious faces.
"Albus Dumbledore has ignored you two," Minerva added. "And he has expelled you from Hogwarts."
" Is this a joke? " the boy asked without believing it.
"Hopefully," Pomona murmured.
"What's wrong?" said the green-eyed man without understanding anything.
" I need you to stay calm while I explain what happened. " McGonagall began. " I assure you that it is very important that you wait for me to finish before acting."
The Scottish Witch began with what happened when the headmaster and the aurors came to them.
The boy couldn't believe what Dumbledore had done with them. They were both left speechless when Ron declared against them.
"So I understand, we are expelled," he asked. The woman nodded. "But we don't have our fifth-year education." Something clicked in his mind. "But that means that..." he looked at Hermione. "Our wands will be broken...!"
"No," Minerva said quickly. "Your situation is very special. You are the last of the Potters and the Ministry's law allows you to continue your studies with private tutors if that is your wish. " The woman looked at him smiling. " With your problem, it is more than possible to do so."
"So, why didn't Dumbledore let me do that from the beginning?" the boy asked. "I don't understand anything."
"There is another complicated matter," Fitwick added. As he said it he looked at Minerva.
" We have no evidence! " The woman added quickly. " It's only a possibility!"
"Minerva!" said Pomona." After his reaction, do you still doubt it?"
" Could you tell me what's going on?! " The boy asked.
" We don't know why, but now you are not necessary for the old man's plans. " McGonagall said, making both young people surprised to hear her speak like that. " But if their magic was sealed, both of them would lose any memory of our world and all its properties. " When she said it, Harry looked.
"Would I lose all my memories of magic and my parents?" he said.
"And the rest of your inheritance! " Pomona added.
"Losing the little I know about my parents worries me more than a few galleons and a couple of magical objects," the boy said.
" Harry! You'd lose your cloak too! " said Hermione. He didn't like that.
"In addition, you have very little regard for your heritage," added Minerva. "Something very convenient," she added, annoyed. The Scottish woman looked at the boy before continuing to speak. " The Potters are by right one of the oldest magical families. They have many possessions and... I don't know what the state of their current vault is, but the family vault is surely much larger than just a few galleons." Harry didn't know what to say. Finally, he reacted.
" Why didn't anyone tell me anything about this?! " He finally asked.
"Everyone was supposed to be informed by Albus in due time," the Scottish woman continued. "He asked us all not to tell you anything so as not to put more pressure on your shoulders," she added annoyed. "But... when they were bitten He accelerated the procedures for them to bind their magic and be expelled from the magical world."
" When we got here, the Unspeakables were preparing the ritual to bind their magic. " Pomona added. " The minister and that pink toad of an undersecretary of his were not very happy when they discovered that they could not do what they intended."
Harry looked at the sheets trying to focus his thoughts.
"This is too much for me," he finally said. "I'm sure that..." he remembered what happened with the lycanthrope. "Oh damn! He will be destroyed! Someone has to contact him so that he doesn't...! " He saw everyone's sad faces. " No shit, no!"
"Sirius Black was kissed while he was fleeing." Minerva said sadly." The damned old man did not do or say anything." Everyone could see a small tear." The very stupid man only lamented the loss and asked all the members to join forces in his memory." She snorted furiously." As if that were going to be of any use!"
Harry crouched down and curled into a ball. He didn't know his godfather for anything more than a few minutes and small talk. But he gave him hope to leave his uncle's home for a better life. In addition to learning more from his parents.
But now, he didn't even have that. With the deaths of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, he had lost any contact with his parents and his life had changed forever.
It didn't take long for the crying to appear. Hermione stayed by his side and it didn't take long to join him in crying.
"Here, Mr. Potter," Minerva said with a potion in her hand. "It will help you."
He resisted a little but Hermione got him to take it and soon after the boy was asleep. Hermione took another potion and soon after she followed him into the dream world.
In the room, the girl's parents stayed watching the couple's sleep. Minerva and Pomona went to organize the documentation regarding the tutoring of both young people by the three former teachers. Hermione had accepted the three's offer of tutoring, on behalf of both of them, when they explained the situation to her. Being the boy's wife there would be no problems when carrying out the procedures.
Fitwick stayed with the Grangers to protect everyone in the room.
[SCENE BREAK]
Harry woke up and noticed someone in bed next to him. When he turned around he could see his friend Hermione asleep next to him. Seeing the girl's parents talking to the three teachers, he tensed.
Enma noticed that the boy was awake and notified everyone.
"I hope you feel better," Minerva said in a low voice, approaching.
"Yes," she said finally. "Hermione..."
"She has remained by your side since you fell asleep." added the brunette's mother.
" I... no...! " The green-eyed man didn't know what to say.
" Don't worry. " The woman responded, guessing the boy's thoughts. " How are you? " Everything returned to the young man's mind again.
"Cursed, abandoned by those I believed were my family, and guilty of the death of the closest thing I had left to a family," the boy responded, trembling.
Harry's state woke Hermione up and she quickly clung to him.
" Harry…" the girl gave him a tender hug." I'm here."
"They're dead Hermione...!" the brunette broke down. "Sirius and Remus...!" he couldn't finish when he burst into tears.
The brunette just stood next to him crying together for the loss of the last true marauders. The couple cried for almost an hour. Fatigue took its toll on them and when Ernest Chaise entered the room, they were both asleep again.
"Haven't they woken up?" He asked, surprised. The former transfiguration teacher nodded.
"The werewolf who bit them was like an uncle to him," Minerva clarified," and... that same night he also lost his godfather. Sirius Black." Upon hearing his name, the mediwizard looked at her in amazement." From what we have found out, not everything was as they led us to believe." The woman said." The dementors kissed him. When he found out..."
" I understand. " Chaise responded. " I came to check how they are doing and to tell them that if you continue improving in the same way... " He looked at a parchment. " This is... something strange!"
" What's happening? " Miss Granger asked worried.
" Nothing! It's just that the werewolf gene is taking effect very quickly. " He clarify. " They already have accelerated healing. " He sigh defeated. " That confirms the infection and…, discards any hope we had. " He looked at the parchment again. " They will be able to get out of here in a day or two." He looked at his former classmate." Minerva! Would you mind accompanying me? I would like to discuss a potion treatment for after transformations."
"Yes, of course," the witch replied. "I'll take the opportunity to take this tea you offered me," she said as they both left the room.
