Chapter 1 - The Future

A towering mansion stood at the centre of a vast expanse of the land. The mansion was surrounded by beautiful garden on all its side. Exotic plants from all over the world and colourful flowers had been beautifully planted in the garden. At one end of the garden a small stream with crystal clear water was flowing making the scenery even more beautiful.

The mansion at the centre was no less beautiful. It had been made out of rarest of stones. The stones had been further sculpted and carved into numerous patterns and intricate designs, giving the castle an aristocratic feeling.

In the main hall of the mansion, a youthful appearing man was sitting cross legged. The man had untamed black hair and blazing green eyes.

On careful observation, one could see weird looking lines carved on the entire surface of the hall. These lines were combing to formed strange patterns and symbols.

Further, these patterns were radiating a purple glow which in turn were illuminating the entire hall in a purple hue.

The man was sitting at the centre of the hall, where all these engraved lines were converging.

The man was the greatest wizard ever to walk on earth. The saviour of wizarding world and the greatest dark lord of the wizarding world at the same time. The man was none other than the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter.

More than 350 years had passed since his battle with Voldemort in the battle of Hogwarts.

During the past three century and fifty years, Harry had been through a lot.

Only after killing Voldemort, for the first time in his life, he was truly free. From that point of time, his life took a complete turn. He started his new journey.

Firstly, only after few days he learned that breaking the elder wand was of no use as he again found himself in possession of that wand. The three Deathly Hallows as they were called had already chosen him as their master and he was the 'master of death.'

He did not know about the truth about if he really was invincible against death but one thing was certain. The Deathly Hallows made him powerful… extremely powerful.

Not only his magical reserves slowly rose to a tremendous level but also his intelligence and physical capabilities. Gone was the feeble and fragile boy. All his injuries had healed and he had become immensely powerful.

Every single magical spell ever used by the elder wand was infused in his mind.

Slowly over time he also mastered the use of wandless magic. His power was beyond anything the world could have imagined.

Having not many things to do, he engrossed himself in studying magic. He researched magic. He created magical spells. Evey thing which could be learned was learnt by him.

Slowly as he started to get involve in the wizarding world and its politics, he learned about his legacy. He learned about his family history.

He figured out all the manipulation, he had been subjected too. All the ploys against him. Things which had been hidden in front of his plain sight but he ignored them because of his innocence and ignorance was discovered by him.

In short few years, Harry became extremely powerful and knowledgeable.

Even after defeating the Dark Lord Voldemort, the society of wizarding world had not changed a bit.

The same nonsense of Blood supremacy continued. People like Draco Malfoy who remained scoot free even after supporting Voldemort did not have an iota of remorse.

They continued with the same thinking and behaviour. The discrimination against muggle born remained rampant.

.

.

.

And not too long after, another Dark Lord emerged with the same intention of purifying the Wizarding world of the impure blood. At least, he unlike Voldemort was of the so called 'pure blood.'

Harry again rose up in defiance and defeated the dark lord with ease. With his powers, any wizard or witch, did not even come close to rivalling him.

Few years later this cycle continued and Harry defeated another Dark Lord. But after a certain time, Harry's power produced fear into the majority of the Wizarding world. And they termed him as the next dark lord.

But Harry paid no heed to those idiots as no one was capable and courageous enough to stand up against him on his face.

On the other hand, while the Wizarding world remained embroiled in internal struggle the muggle world grew by leaps and bounds.

Unparalleled level of technology was developed and the secret of a hidden magical world could not be kept hidden for a long time.

Though both the societies were able to reach an agreement of mutual survival, it was of no use. Heavy friction continued between them and the muggle world and the wizarding world were almost on the brink of war.

But Harry held no concern of all this. He no longer had same innocence or morality where he would jump in danger just to save life of others.

His only regret in his life was the way his Hogwarts years had turned out to be and the fate of few people related to him. And he was going to change that.

With all the knowledge he had gathered over the century, he had finally discovered a method to send back his soul back into the past.

It was a pure gamble. Either he would be successful or dead.

Harry was finally prepared to begin the ritual. He raised his left palm slightly and with a small silver knife in his right hand, he made a deep gash on his left palm.

Drops of blood started to fall below and as soon as the blood touched the carving, the glow from the carvings intensified and as if by some magic the blood flow from Harry's hand increase dramatically.

The blood spread along the carvings in all directions and in few minutes, Harry felt his entire body turning weak because of the blood loss and the next moment he fell on the ground with a thud.

Immediately, the carvings engraved on the ground let out a wild pulse of light and huge amount of uncontrolled magic flew out from the engravings with a loud boom.

It was as if a huge explosion has occurred and the entire mansion along with the gardens and the stream was obliterated into dust.
