"Ty, how do you like your new school?" She asked her brother during dinner.
It was just the two of them since she heard her husband had been out of town. Whether he would return that night was still a question.
Frankly, she would prefer it that way. At least she would not have to see him in his home. But, of course, that was wishful thinking.
"It is ok. I met a few new friends." Her brother responded, sounding as if it was not a big deal.
She guessed that was better than before when he hardly talked to anybody or her. Maybe Xavier was right, even though she did not want him to be.
"That's great." She smiled at him, glad they seemed to make progress in their relationship.
She guessed a new environment was just what the doctor had ordered. It would be a fresh start for Ty and herself.
