"Hmm!" It was the weekend. She would love to stay in her bed a little longer.
Thankfully, since her nightmare, she had been sleeping much better now. She had made peace with what she thought she saw. It was nothing but her imagination.
"Don't be hilarious, Saige. Of course, there is no such thing as a monster." Nonetheless, she still wondered why she had conjured such an image in her brain.
But that was what fascinated her about the human mind. Until now, no one knew how it worked. It was too complicated, just like the entire human body.
"Anyway, you are awake, so better get yourself ready." She mumbled to herself, yawning and stretching her body to unwind her stiff muscles.
Then, she dragged her body off the bed, forcing her feet to move. She thought there was something about the light streaming into her bedroom from the balcony that appeared to call to her.
"Oh, that is so much better." Feeling the sunlight kissing her pale skin.
