A COUPLE YEARS AGO, in the alleyway, a hooded man waited patiently in the dark. It was nightfall, and the sounds of Dyna Blades could be heard approaching.
"What about a bunch of pitiful, auspicious people?" a boy said. "They really think I'm their friend."
That boy was Nagini. He approached the hooded man, explaining how difficult their work was going to be tonight. The man removed his hood to reveal that it was Brigadier Knox. He was wearing a bulletproof vest, a badge that said, "D. B. F. P. D.," and a pair of Dyna Blades.
"Like anyone's above the law," he said with a smile.
