"WE, the lords of the Roads, know little about other lords' Runes," Adriel said. "But you, Caspian, you seem to know the results of this fight, don't you?"
As Caspian spectated the Poison Runes in action, Skyler approached their side. She was no longer wearing Kimberly's costume, having gladly returned it after a little argument. Upon greeting Adriel, she was asked about her earlier charade. Her response was simply that she was bored.
"And I still am," she stated.
"Why so bored when your favorite 'Stephy' is faring well?" Caspian asked.
"That's not it," she said. "It's a really good match, but that dragon doesn't look like he's having any fun at all!"
Brigadier's attitude while riding ruined Skyler's mood. Caspian reminded her of Brigadier's past: not only had he given up a lot to gain more power, but both his joy in racing and his partner (Nagini) were lost in the process. Skyler pouted, unable to accept that notion.
