"We, the lords of the Roads, know little about other lords' Runes," Adriel said. "But you, Caspian, you seem to know the results of this fight, don't you?"
As Caspian spectated the Poison Runes in action, Skyler approached their side. She was no longer wearing Kimberly's costume, having gladly returned it after a little argument. Greeting Adriel, she was asked about her little charade earlier. Her response was that she was simply bored.
"And I still am," she said.
"Why so bored when your favorite 'Stephy's' faring well?" Caspian asked.
"That's not it," she said. "It's a really good match, but that dragon doesn't look like he's having any fun at all!"
Because of Brigadier's attitude while riding, it ruined Skyler's mood. Caspian reminded her of Brigadier's past. Not only had Brigadier given up a lot to gain more power, but both his joy in racing and his partner (Nagini) were lost in the process. Skyler pouted, unaccepting of that notion.
