Two months later.
The sky was cloudy and the weather pleasant. A small green leaf fell, showcasing the beauty of spring as it finally met the damp ground. However, a shoe stepped on the leaf, and the person continued on their way. The once silent forest was now filled with the sound of Rosary's voice.
"GACHUTI, GACHUTI, where are you?"
A gentle breeze swept through the forest, carrying Rosary towards her destination. She could hear him.
"Focus!"
Finally finding him, she saw him enveloped in a warm yet icy aura, creating a breathtaking sight.
"Gachuti?"
He was wielding a sword, its blade engulfed in a cyan flame, adding to the beauty of the scene.
I need to do this for them, to show them I'm not the monster they fear, that I don't need the power of darkness. - Gachuti thought.
He positioned himself and prepared.
"Freezing Fire!"
With speed and skill, he made a diagonal cut on a tree, which instantly caught fire, only to be frozen moments later.
"Finally found you."
Gachuti opened his eyes, noticing Rosary's arrival. Without turning around, he replied.
"Rosary!? I asked for some alone time."
"But Gachuti, you've been out here for a week. Let's talk."
"No!!! You know... I... am..."
One month prior.
Demigem was experiencing a typical day. The sky was clear and the sun was shining. In front of the adventurer's guild, Thijou and Gachuti were having a conversation, while Rosary ran towards them from a distance.
"Gachuti is ready to join the guild."
"I am, Elder Thijou."
"I told you to call me grandpa."
"Don't joke like that, I'm not worthy."
"Alright, Gachuti."
Their conversation was interrupted by Rosary, who jumped onto Gachuti's back, almost causing them to fall. However, he managed to keep his balance.
Two minutes later.
Rosary was kneeling, apologizing for her actions. Gachuti stood with an annoyed expression, while Rosary looked like she was about to cry.
"Alright, Rosary, just don't do it again."
"I promise!"
Thijou placed his hand on Gachuti's shoulder, reminding him of the reason they were there.
"I think we should end this little play, kids."
"I told you not to call me a kid, Elder Thijou."
"Since you've calmed down, let's go, Gachuti."
"Of course, Elder Thijou."
They all entered the guild and approached the receptionist.
"Sir, it won't take long. Place your hand on this sphere."
As he placed his hand on the sphere, it began to emit a purple light. The light gradually darkened.
"Sir, you are..."
The receptionist's face hardened, her calm demeanor replaced by seriousness.
"Half-Dem..."
