"The overall activities of devils have subsided over the couple of years due to you and you rehabilitation project. Within just a spawn of ten years about thousands of devils have been laid siege to and even a coloured has been captured...."
Watching the gentlemen sitting across her go on and on about her recent achievement was a rather generic and tasteless sight to her, the only reason she hadn't walked out of her office in the first place was because the grey haired gentleman was her superior and if there was one thing she hated was showing disrespect.
She likes to be respected hence she would also respect.
She belived in reciprocatal relationship. If she was hated she would hate back if she was loved she would love back.
To show disrespect to her superior was only asking to be disrespected.
"...I do have to say you husband is truly an admirable fellow!" The gentleman man winked at her as he relaxed his back on the office chair.
"I thought you hated devil?" Pamela question.
The gentlemen infront of her whiles gentle by nature was an absolutely ruthless devil hunter in the top twenty ranking of the trigger association.
On the battlefield he was dubbed the devil reaper due to the sheer number of devil lives he had taken, so his words right now had been a rather surprise to her.
"Hatred is subjective...." Narrowing his hazel coloured eyes he began to reflect.
"...I've always hated devils but not because of a personal grudge or anything of sort, I just hated them because it was natural so I found it just as natural to take their lives but...even after one had taken my brother's life I never held a personal grudge."
He smiled a nostigic look in his eyes.
"..when I say Envy almost put down his life during the Constalia to protect all their humans and Angels I began to question my hatred. I kill devils because they are creature of calamity but don't human also cause calamity!"
"Just like there are good human there must be good devils to right?"
With a rather stoic expression Pamela nod and was about to speak but....
"Yo..."
A loudbang revolted in the spacious office as the door was banged opened followed by a rather rough greeting.
The gentleman and her glance at the door as a white haired young man with red eyes in a causal black attired walked in.
A timid, petite white haired girl slowly tailed behind him, her golden eyes darted back and shot in confusion and fright.
On the girl shoulder was a mutilated unconscious individual wrapped in golden binding.
"Speak of the devil!" Her Superior smirk
in interest a he got up to leave.
"I'll be going then!"
Announcing his departure, he walked towards agent 3 and stretched out his right hand, gesturing for a formal handshake.
"The famed Envy." He smiled," it is a pleasure to see you again!"
Agent three return his gesture a spark of admiration ignition in his heart as he examined the man from head to toe.
"The feeling his mutual Sir Lancelot!"
Surprise at the level of respect the devil give him, he silently nod and glance pass him to the girl and uncuoincess devil.
"...is the girl you student by chance?" He asked.
"Nah..."
"No!"
The both replied in union.
"O-okay" he stammered calmly retracting his arm.
"..well if the spot is not yet filled I will like to hand my sister over to you in one of your visits to Avalon. She really needs a lesson in chivalry and what not!"
"It will be an honor!"
Agent three didn't think he had what it takes but if for the knight that stood before him,he would glady accept it.
The being infront of him was the very impediment of what he dubbed knightly.
Graceful, kind and selfless something the girl beside him lacked.
With that he and the current knight king exchanged a few pleasantries before they parted ways.
"Well then, till we meet again old friend."
Gesturing goodbye, the knight king waved him off existing the room.
"Knights are so cool!"
Walking towards his boss after seeing the knight of he mused and took a seat.
"Sup!"
He kept his greeting causally earning a furrow from her but choosing not to complain because he had done something worth praising again, she kept her composure and glance at the white haired standing behind now the sitted agent three.
"Ciel!"
Her tone was sharp causing the girl to flinch back.
"You know her!"
"Ofcourse."
With an irritated smile she rose off her seat and approached her.
Ciel frightened by her presence tried walking back but end up with her back against the door.
"Ciel dear.."
She wa smiling but the sheer hostility that reeked of said smile left Ciel frightened.
"Ye-s mame!"
Closing the distance in mere seconds she retrieved the body in her shoulder and pinched her cheeks.
"Well done."
Her action went in contrast to her soft words leaving Ciel to gulp.
Envy watching the sighed and glance back.
"Pal stop bullying your workers!"
"Fine!"
Like a feisty wild cat seeing another cat step in their territory she gazed sharply at c
Ciel and forcefully held the girl's chin up.
"His my!" She warned, her expression stoic and unfeeling.
Taking her warning to heart, Ciel shoulders now free of Diablo stiffened as she obediently nod and rushed out of the office.
Watching the sight a bit amused, Envy shook his head and calmly watched Pamela dragging Diablo on the ground ad she approached him.
"Two coloured in a row, can't say I not overjoyed but..."
"It's alright I didn't need any reward!"
He cutted her off.
"I just need the assocation to keep him locked up till I can activate my mystic again."
Pamela sighed but did nothing else as she dropped the unconscious devil on the ground and wrapped her arms around Envy from behind.
"I'm sorry for misunderstanding you early!" She whispered in his ears before giving him a peck on his nape.
"I'm also sorry for not being able to use you as my ambition!"
Closing his eyes he responded.
Pamela eyes narrowed a bit and grew more soft after his word prompting her to tighten her hold on him.
She is said nothing but her actions told Envy all he needed to know.
He had been forgiven.
