Chapter 24- Almost a Ninja

Living in the Senju mansion was a big improvement compared to being alone. Sure, I lost some privacy, but the comfort made it worth it. I no longer needed to clean, do laundry, or cook my own food. And the meals here had a lot more variety. Back when I cooked for myself, my meals were simple, more about nutrition than taste, and cooking variety while being alone felt like a chore. Now, I had more time to focus on training, and life felt easier overall.
While the food here wasn't quite as good as the stuff I got from trading with the system, I couldn't afford to trade too often before. I needed a lot of raw materials for system trades, and as an orphan, I was simply too poor to buy all that raw materials, the conversion efficiency of the system was too low, But now, I felt less pressure with everything provided here, there was no need to worry about anything here, and I could just live as I wanted, but the adult inside me from my previous life couldn't accept that, I felt bad doing nothing here, soon I will have to figure out of a way to make money, though I already had some ideas for that.
Moving in had also improved my relationship with Tsunade. We'd become closer, and she stopped acting all tsundere around me. In fact, she'd gotten bolder with her feelings. I suspect Grandma Mito's influence had something to do with that. She was starting to make it pretty clear she liked me, and it was becoming harder to dodge her advances. I might have to give in soon, though starting a relationship didn't seem that bad now since we were about to graduate soon, if we are old enough to kill, then we're .
Anyway, graduation from the ninja academy was coming up. Here in this era, ninja school only lasts four years, so we graduate at ten instead of twelve like in later generations. I've been the top student for a while now, and when I showed off my Giga Drill recently, it caused quite a stir. Creating two A-rank ninjutsu was something most couldn't accomplish their entire lives, and I had done it before the age of 10, With all my training and hard work (the system too), I was confident about the graduation exam, which was just a test of the three basic jutsu. I'd soon be a full-fledged ninja, and if I know Grandma Mito, she'd make sure Tsunade and I end up on the same team. That idea sounded pretty nice.
With skills in fuinjutsu, my Rasengan, and the Giga Drill, plus some smaller jutsu like Flame Wave, I was already at an elite Jonin level. My physical stats were improving fast, and with puberty coming up, I knew they'd grow at an unprecedented rate, the real effect of physique was only showing now, my stats were improving like crazy just by growing older. Over the last two years, I'd been regularly adding to my points. My strength had nearly doubled, and now my chakra had almost reached the level of an elite Jonin. I had stopped saving points now and would regularly allocate them, Recently, the system added a new feature, showing how close I was to earning training points, when it reached 1, I would get a point, then it would return to zero. Every four or five days, I could get a new point if I trained hard enough. After another day of effort, I finally earned one more point, and my stats shifted again:

Remarks: 10-year-old elite Jonin! Definitely one of a kind, amongst the best talent in the entire world in all of history.
With that achieved, I was officially elite jonin level in terms of chakra, though I guess due to lack of experience I would probably lose to most of the elite jonin out there, but hey, soon I too would get experience, it was only a matter of time, it felt like the right time to start a new trade. I had a plan, and would probably get something new, and this could add to my reputation as well.

The options looked good, but the healing charm was the best choice by far. Flash and smoke charms could be useful, but a healing charm could save lives. Creating something like that would boost my popularity and be really helpful for others. Selling them could also bring in some good money, something I'd never had as an orphan. Since I'd been learning healing jutsu with Tsunade, I could easily say that I combined healing jutsu with fuinjutsu to create it. Although a healing charm couldn't fully heal someone, it would be valuable for emergencies. And with the ongoing ninja world war, although at it's end, this would a great asset, since in war, many died before reaching the medical camp.
This would likely earn some points with Tsunade, too. Despite her tsundere nature, she's soft-hearted and always eager to help people. This charm could mean a lot to her.
So, I chose the healing charm option. A scroll appeared in my hands with the method for creating it. Before trading for anything else, I planned to master the healing charm technique. Once I was confident in it, I could start selling them and think about trading for other jutsu. With over 40 years left before the main plot kicks in, this time was more than what I had lived, both my lives combined, I had time on my side. For now, I'd enjoy my role as a kind genius inventor.
