Chapter 5 - chapter 5

Leo Donovan was left speechless after hearing Zach's explanation. He stared in disbelief and asked, "You've already worked out the technology? That's impressive, but how can we make people believe in it? We can't just rely on words, right?"

Zach snapped his fingers, his confidence shining through. "Of course not! I've already tested it myself! Plus, I've even secured some investment, and the company's officially registered!"

Lily Quinn raised an eyebrow, a playful smile on her lips. "So, you've got funding and a company, but that's just the beginning. If you really want to succeed, you need to show people the real deal. They won't believe in it until they see it with their own eyes."

Zach let out a sigh. "I know, no matter how good something is, it takes time for people to accept it. My plan is to start locally, build up a reputation slowly. But we still need the right marketing strategy to reach people."

Leo slammed his hand on the table, excitement in his eyes. "Short videos are all the rage right now! We could make fun, engaging clips that show off just how unique these vegetables are. Something funny, but also visually striking. That way, we entertain people and show off the product at the same time!"

Zach's face lit up. "Exactly! Short videos are huge right now. We can create hilarious content that lets people see just how incredible these super vegetables are! It'll be fun and effective."

Lily nodded thoughtfully. "But it can't just be funny. We need to back it up with professionalism. Combine humor with real science—nutritional data, expert opinions. We need to make people laugh and trust us. Comedy alone won't cut it."

Zach grinned. "That's a great idea! We can film the whole process, from planting to harvesting, showing the vegetables' rapid growth. Add in the nutritional data, and it'll be clear these vegetables are a game-changer!"

Lily added, "But don't forget, we need to keep the content fresh. We can't just repeat the same thing over and over. Why not create comparison videos? Show how regular vegetables grow compared to your super vegetables. That'll grab people's attention."

Leo thumped his chest, full of enthusiasm. "Leave the comedy to me! I'll play the role of a 'country bumpkin' farmer, using humor to introduce the vegetables in a way that sticks in people's minds!"

Lily agreed, "That could work, but we need consistent updates. And variety. We can't just rely on humor; we should also do expert comparisons and show the difference in growth between regular and super vegetables. It'll keep people hooked."

Zach laughed. "Alright, that's the plan! We'll prep for filming and use short videos to break into the market. Once we start getting traction, we can adjust the strategy based on feedback!"

Lily crossed her arms and smirked. "Alright then, let's see this 'super vegetable' operation of yours. Seeing is believing, after all."

With a nod, Zach led Lily and Leo outside to his greenhouse. The structure wasn't fancy; the frame was made of bamboo, covered with a layer of clear plastic. It had a simple, rustic look, but it exuded a certain charm—built with hard work and dedication. This greenhouse represented Zach's dreams and the culmination of his research.

"This is it," Zach said proudly, gesturing toward the greenhouse with a grin.

Leo squinted at the structure, unimpressed. "This is where your super vegetables are growing? Doesn't look like much from the outside."

Lily glanced at the simple greenhouse, her brow slightly furrowed. "It does look basic, but it's what's inside that matters. Let's take a look."

Zach smirked and swung the door open. "Come on, let me show you the magic inside."

The moment they stepped in, both Lily and Leo froze, their jaws dropping at the sight. Inside, the vegetables were thriving, their lush green leaves gleaming under the sunlight. Every plant looked bursting with life, standing tall and vibrant.

"Whoa! These look amazing!" Leo exclaimed. "Did you really grow all these yourself? They look way better than regular crops!"

Lily knelt down by one of the plants, examining it closely. The leaves were thick and springy to the touch. She looked up at Zach. "Just from the appearance alone, these vegetables are much healthier than typical crops. It looks like your research really paid off."

Zach grinned from ear to ear. "Of course it did. These vegetables grow faster, and their nutritional value is off the charts. I wasn't exaggerating when I said they're 'super vegetables.'"

Leo scratched his chin and said half-jokingly, "If we can sell these, we're going to be swimming in money! But we need to make sure people believe in this tech first."

Zach nodded. "Exactly. The vegetables are great, but getting consumers to trust and buy into them will take time and proper promotion. That's where our short videos come in."

Lily stood up, dusting off her hands. "You've got the tech and the results to back it up. But people won't just care about how good the plants look. They need to know these vegetables are actually more nutritious. We need scientific data, nutrition analysis, and even taste tests to convince them."

Zach agreed. "Yeah, I've been thinking about that. In our videos, we'll not only show the fast growth but also run nutritional comparisons. We'll use real data to prove how superior these vegetables are."

Leo, now brimming with excitement, chimed in. "Great! I'll handle the comedy—let's make it fun and engaging. I'll play the goofy farmer, comparing regular crops with super veggies. People will eat it up!"

Lily smiled. "Your humor will definitely help, but don't forget, we need some professionalism too. We can invite nutritionists or agricultural experts to join the videos. That way, it'll be both entertaining and credible."

Zach nodded thoughtfully. "I've already planned to reach out to some industry experts. They can help verify the nutritional content of these vegetables. Once we have solid data, we'll create a series of videos showcasing all the benefits."

Leo grinned, winking at Zach. "Great! We'll start with humor and slowly bring in more serious, expert-backed content. These videos are gonna go viral!"

Zach clapped his hands together. "Alright, we're on the same page. Short videos are the way to go. It'll let people see how fast the vegetables grow while highlighting the tech behind them. I'll start working on the first few episodes, showing the process from seed to harvest."

Lily nodded approvingly. "Time-lapse videos are a smart move. Showing the actual growth is super convincing. But remember, we need to keep it fresh. No one wants to see the same thing over and over."

Zach laughed. "Of course. Each video will have something new. We'll showcase the growth, then do nutritional comparisons, and maybe even cooking demos to show how tasty these veggies are."

Leo clapped his hands, full of energy. "I'll handle the cooking demos! I'm a whiz in the kitchen. I'll make a dish with the super veggies so good, people will be drooling all over their screens."

Zach grinned. "Perfect. Let's get started. First, we'll shoot the growth process, then layer on the other content."

The trio sprang into action, with Leo prepping the filming equipment, and Lily outlining the video structure and flow. Meanwhile, Zach busied himself contacting experts to provide professional backing for their claims.

The camera zoomed in on the super vegetables as they sprouted, with Zach and Leo narrating the journey from seed to harvest.

Using time-lapse footage, they captured the incredible speed at which the vegetables grew. In mere minutes, viewers would witness the miraculous transformation from tiny seeds to full, thriving plants.

Leo, dressed in a comedic farmer's outfit with a tacky flower-patterned shirt and a goofy hat, danced onto the screen, pretending to be a farmer overwhelmed by slow-growing vegetables. With exaggerated gestures, he sang:

"I'm just a humble farmer, planting veggies day by day, but they grow so slow, I'm pulling out my hair!"

He pretended to yank at his hair, his over-the-top expressions making the whole scene hilarious.

Then, he pulled out a child's toy watering can filled with a glittering liquid and sprayed it over the regular crops, adding cartoon sound effects and chanting:

"Magic water, do your thing! Make my veggies grow fast like lightning!"

Meanwhile, Zach rode onto the scene on a tiny toy bike, wearing sunglasses and waving a small flag with "Super Vegetables" written on it. He struck what he thought was a cool pose and rapped:

"Yo, yo, yo! Check out the speed and the power, my super veggies are the kings of the hour! Nutritional value's off the charts, making these veggies true works of art!"

To make the contrast even clearer, Leo moved next to the super vegetables. The camera zoomed in on the vibrant tomatoes—huge, juicy, and glistening like ruby gems in the sunlight. They looked like they could burst at any moment, filled with delicious juice.

Then, the camera panned over to the ordinary vegetables, small and pale by comparison.

At the end of the video, the three of them stood together in front of the camera. Leo suddenly broke into a ridiculous dance, and, unable to resist, Zach and Lily joined in, swaying along to the beat.

Together, they shouted at the camera:

"Super Vegetables! You gotta try them!"

Lily then added with a smile, "In our next episode, we'll dive deeper into the nutritional value of these veggies with expert opinions. Don't miss it!"
