"Scarlet point of view*
I wanted this class to finish already. Why did it feel like it had been going on for a week? Carrying a 10 kg sandbag while walking uphill was brutal. My legs burned with each step, and the weight felt like it doubled every few meters.
"Having a hard time, House Evius?" I heard a group of students behind me, with their teasing tone. They weren't the same as the girl from earlier, but they had the same attitude. I almost thought that she hired these girls to tease me.
"That's a huge problem for someone without mana," a familiar voice chimed in. I didn't even need to turn around to know who it was. The voice is too familiar. It is the girl who mocked me earlier.
I kept moving, refusing to engage.
The group snickered, clearly enjoying the show.
"I bet you're going to pass out," the girl said, her voice dripping with fake concern. "Why don't you just rest here? Your body's not strong enough to last long."
