After their encounter with the mysterious girl, Colet and Micah decided to leave her in the abandoned library. They couldn't risk being discovered or questioned about what had happened. The girl seemed stable for now, and hopefully, someone would find her before long.
"Are you sure we should just leave her here?" Micah asked, glancing back one last time as they made their way to the door.
"It's safer this way," Colet replied, keeping her voice low. "If anyone asks too many questions, it could lead to more trouble for us. Besides, we did our part by stabilizing her mana."
Micah nodded, understanding her reasoning, though he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling settling in his chest. As they stepped out, Colet cast a quick spell, sealing the library door behind them. It was a simple trick to prevent anyone from coming inside or, in case the girl woke up disoriented, from wandering out aimlessly.
