Days passed, and I found myself spending more time with Micah than with Jenna and Sera. I didn't know much about what they'd been up to lately; I had been so caught up in everything with Micah. Between our conversations and the way she made me feel, it was like the world outside our little bubble had faded into the background.
But a part of me couldn't shake the guilt. Jenna and Sera were my closest friends, and I hadn't been there for them as much as I used to. Were they upset? Did they feel like I was ignoring them? These thoughts nagged at the back of my mind, but I kept pushing them aside, telling myself I'd make it up to them soon.
