Later that day, we met Sera and Jenna. Other houses didnt have classes. So, we have a lot of time to see each other.
"So, what made you approach Scarlet?" Jenna asked, her tone casual but with curiosity.
I tensed slightly, glancing at Micah, wondering how she would handle this.
Micah smiled softly, meeting Jenna's gaze. "Honestly? It was her determination that caught my attention first. During the dragon-riding competition, even when things seemed tough, she didn't give up. That kind of strength is rare. I wanted to know more about her."
Jenna raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. "That's it? You just… decided to get to know her because of her 'strength'?"
Micah nodded. "It started as curiosity, but the more time I spent with her, the more I realized how incredible she is. Scarlet is thoughtful, brave, and she sees the world differently than most people. She's... inspiring."
