Arielle's POV.

My question hung in the air, waiting for him to answer. An uncomfortable silence filled the room, forcing Damien to clear his throat.

Baron tilted his head and failed to hide his smug smile. "I get that a lot, even Simon thought I looked like her relative." He finally felt out.

My brows lifted and I shook my head. "No, you don't look like my relative. I mean.. we could have met somewhere…" I mumbled with a shrug but his smile only grew bigger as he bowed.

"Maybe you are right…" he said and then added, "Baron at your service."

This time, even Damien raised his brows but I ignored him too and focused on the new guy.

"Fine then, I guess I am stuck with you for now," I replied.

Baron nodded once again before coming to stand beside me.

Damien, satisfied somehow, headed to the door. "We have ourselves a deal. Let's get the camps prepared."
