"Have some tomato juice mixed with apples, Miss." The red drink had been freshly squeezed early this morning for her. "The Madame said to make sure you finish it for your skin. It will help reduce bloating and brighten your complexion."
Keira eyed the drink suspiciously. She didn't know if the benefits they spoke of were true or not, but she knew enough about how healthy regular tomato intake could be.
Rania has never given me these things…
From what she remembered of Rania, her care and generosity were saved for Lucas and Selene only. Toward Dylan and Matthew, Rania neither paid attention nor ignored them, her treatment of the two was neutral at best.
And for me…
Rania rarely even looked at Keira. Occasionally, when guests were around, she would speak caring words. Keira wasn't sure how she should feel with the tomato juice mixture that the maid urged her to drink.
