When Sheena finally came back to the new apartment, it's late at midnight.
So when Sheena saw Stephan Korade was sitting on the sofa in the middle of the living room, Sheena was quite surprised. On the cellphone was displayed with 02:37.
"Wow, it's so late but you're still awake." Sheena was amazed by the presentation of Stephan Korade at such a moment, "didn't you go out for fun?"
According to the acknowledging of Stephan Korade, Sheena guessed it would be more possible to see him at the bar more than here.
Stephan Korade was bearing quite a serious face when seeing Sheena came back. He didn't answer the question of Sheena but stared at Sheena with a kind of weird expression, "you know it's late? Then why are you coming so late?"
Firstly, it's weird to see Stephan Korade to sit on the sofa at such a timing. Secondly, it's weirder to hear what he had asked.
Sheena was reminded of the scene when the husband came back late at night and his wife had criticized on his late return. The difference was just now they were in the opposite positions.
Therefore, Sheena looked at Stephan Korade with a sense of misunderstanding, "who has pissed you off?"
Stephan Korade must have been pissed off by someone and Sheena herself was unfortune to bump into him at his anger moment. Therefore, Sheena asked with curiousness. Since they were a couple, it's a duty for her to show some care or love to him.
Before what Sheena had said, Stephan Korade was just in a serious face. After Sheena had said that, Stephan Korade was blushed with anger.
"What matters is not why I'm pissed off but why you are coming so late." Stephan Korade seemed to just not let go of what he desired to know, he just insisted in inquiring.
Sheena had never known Stephan Korade would be stubborn like this, and Stephahn Korade's face had gave a hint that if she didn't confess, he just wouldn't give up.
"We went to celebrate with a good old friend for his new house." Sheena smiled. It's not a big deal that needed to be covered, so Sheena chose to tell him directly.
"Good old friend?" Stephan Korade wandered, "do I know her/him?"
Sheena shook her head, "he is my senior in the jazz club and has graduated from our school for a few years, you may not know him."
Stephan Korade stared at Sheena when Sheena was trying to introduce, silent and still.
"Are you satisfied now? Can I go to sleep now?" Sheena was exhausted at this moment, after so many things had happened, Sheena felt she didn't have any energy to struggle with him for such things. What's more, he wasn't qualified enough to doubt about the things on which she had made the decision.
Maybe Stephan Korade had sensed the bad temper Sheena had had at this moment, he didn't say more and said, "go take a bath and sleep. Just look at how you have smelled like."
Hearing this, Sheena sniffed on her arm to check the smell.
Maybe it's the mixed smells of drinks and smokes that she didn't smell good. Embarrassed to some extent, Sheena smiled to Stephan Korade for apology, "sorry if any unpleasure. Please go back and have a rest, too."
Although Sheena didn't know where Stephan Korade had been to, he should have been tired after his going out for entertainment as a playboy.
Sheena finished the talk and just walked back to her bedroom.
Yes, it's her bedroom, the last room in the end of the corridor, while the master room that Stephan Korade was living was in the opposite door of hers.
"If you don't' mind, my bed is bigger and you're always welcomed." Right before Sheena was about to go into the room, Stephan Korade asked when leaning against the doorframe with a sweet and teasing smile.
"Wow, thinking as wild as you can." Sheena burst into laughter. "are you too lonely that you want someone to warm up your bed?" Stephan Korade's image as the playboy did impress Sheena. Sheena couldn't figure out why he could claim such a statement right in front of her.
"You didn't forget out commitment, right?" Sheena didn't want to tangle around such a topic with him, so she reminded him with firm eyes.
She couldn't believe Stephan Korade would do it for love or anything. It's definitely for everything except love.
As expected, Stephan Korade burst into laughter and smiled with cunningness. "Just a joke. I know it's just a deal, isn't it?"
Sheena nodded with satisfaction and shut the door off without hesitation, stopping the embarrassment lingering in the air.
Sheena didn't want to cause any trouble, especially when it's tangled with feelings.
After a quick bath, Sheena lied on the bed and checked the messages on the phone. There were nothing new but propaganda messages or group chat prompts, except one.
It's from Luis Smith, who had asked for an appointment in the next day.
When Sheena left home, Stephan Korade hadn't gotten up. Maybe he had stayed awake for too long at night that he was having a duvet day
The appointment was set in a café with few clients.
"Nice to meet you." Sheena shook hands with him with quite a good impression. He looked like a gentleman from head to toe.
"Finally." Luis Smith sighed out for the meeting that finally came true.
Luis Smith was quite a straightforward man that he didn't cover anything but just confess what he was going to do.
He had invited Luis Smith to sing the longs that he had created. In his plan. According to his introduction, Sheena just needed to sing the songs and the rest would be handled by him. As for any benefits that their works had gained, they would be distributed in accordance with a certain partition.
"Really?" Sheena was not at the age of dreaming wild, so she didn't have the illusion of becoming a super star.
However, she didn't' refused the offer immediately. In an era that the people were all obsessed with media and entertainment. Going into the entertainment world would be the easiest way for a poor girl to climb up high and quickly. If there is no any cheats or tricks, Sheena did want to have a try. After all, as a person good at singing and loving singing, seeing her music album definitely would be deadly attractive.
"How about it?" Luis Smith smiled with a winning face. Obviously, he had discovered that Sheena had been touched by this idea, so he stared at Sheena with confidence in his eyes. Deep in heart, he did believe he would be always right in finding the right one to cooperate with, except that incident.
When thinking of this, Luis Smith forced himself to drag himself out of the painful memories. Something deserved to be covered in darkness forever and should not be recalled forever.
Sheena didn't intend to cover her desire, so she just admitted, "Yes, it's quite a good idea that I would rather think it twice before making any decision."
Hearing this, Luis Smith just smiled, "It may sound like a trap for you." Luis Smith stopped for a second and then continued, "but you should believe in yourself that, as long as you're well prepared, you shouldn't have hesitated in giving yourself a chance of making a fortune with your own efforts and good luck."
Sheena was amazed by the quickness that Luis Smith had owned. "You're quite smart in reading people's mind."
Luis Smith turned to Sheena and then took a glance at a pigeon which had just flied over their heads. "It's not my capacity of reading people's mind rapidly but your awareness of realizing the right time has come."
"One last question," although Sheena didn't buy it completely, she had been convinced by the firm confidence and belief in the eyes of Luis Smith, she still wanted to know why he had come to her, "why me?"
However, Luis Smith didn't answer, grinning silently to Sheena.
"Sheena, you just need to know the duties and benefits partition, " Luis Smith seemed to be not going to answer the question of Sheena, "one day you would understand me, and then get the answer yourself."
"Deal." Sheena chose to accept the offer.
Since this was a kind of choice, Sheena would like to have a try to seek for the best results.
"Please waited for my call," Luis Smith didn't wait for the reaction of Sheena and just announced the arrangement, "when things get arranged, you come to accomplish the music recording, further I will also arrange something that could maximize the communication effects."
In the rest coffee time, Sheena needed to do nothing but listen to the introduction of Luis Smith, who had clarified the duties, the tasks and the further plan.
Looking at the man that had met for the first time kept talking and introduced the project, Sheena finally could sense the life seemed to be back on the track.
