Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Moving into the Wedding Apartment

Moving into the wedding apartment was just a piece of cake. For a big luggage case had withheld all things of Sheena.

Sheena didn't ask anybody to help her in the packaging, but Stephan Korade was quite nice enough to show up to help her in the carrying the luggage case into the SUV.

Standing at the door of her apartment, Sheena glanced around the whole apartment, finding the whole room used to be full of her living senses now had been emptied and left with a kind of miserability.

"Are you reluctant to leave here?" Stephan Korade had fished his work and showed up by standing behind Sheena. In fact, he had got on the car after he put the luggage case into the car, but quite a long while had passed and Sheena didn't come down. So Stephan Korade had come upstairs to check.

Seeing the back of Sheena had been enough for Stephan Korade to understand the current situation.

Sheena turned around when hearing the inquiry of Stephan Korade, but she turned back to look at her apartment and finally answer, "This apartment has been rented on my own and paid by myself."

Sheena seemed to immerse into the memories which Stephan Korade may have never ever experienced.

"I spent the money earned from my part-time jobs to rent this apartment."

"To earn more money, as well as more personal space that enable my accomplishment of part-time jobs that are totally different from the living routine of those classmates."

Self-memorizing and repeating to herself would be more accurate to describe the current situation, although Stephan Korade was standing there and listening, Sheena just didn't stop or wait for anything or any responses he would give.

However, Stephan Korade did realize the totally different living way of a girl who obviously was trying hard in living, in other words, trying hard in making money.

"Why not to try to do some easy jobs?" Stephan Korade inquired.

In fact, in such a modern world, there were a mass of ways to earn money, of course among them would be some easier. At least, she wouldn't have to sacrificed her rest time to earn those limited volumes of money.

Of course, Stephan Korade knew it may be impolite to make such a claim, but he really wanted to talk about this with Sheena, who was really excellent in appearance. She had inherited the better appearance from her family, it's just that he didn't know it's inherited from Evan Hathaway or Lena Lim.

Sheena was not surprised to hear this saying.

Indeed, there were jobs that would take less efforts and look much easier. There was one time when she was singing in the Star Bar, after she finished the singing, a man looked sob in mind had come to her with an offer: to be his mistress and he would give a big volume of money to her, then she wouldn't need to worry about living cost or any other jobs that cost her so many efforts.

There was a second Sheena had thought about the accepting. Being born in such a family, the lack of love had made Sheena wander whether there would be someone loving her and supporting her at all costs? Whether there would be a man view her as lover, not a money-earning machine? Whether she should choose the easier way to live her life?

However, Sheena had just refused without any hesitation. It's easier but not her living way. Witnessing both Lena Lim and Evan Hathaway had taken the whole life in searching for a much easier way, they ended up getting nothing but creating trouble and disasters to the people around them. Sheena was just not willing to act in the same way.

Therefore, Sheena smiled to Stephan Korade with sincerity, "It's not my style. What's more, it's not my type."

Getting the expected answer, Stephan Korade grinned and claimed, "you have sharp weapons but chose to give up shooting."

Sheena didn't care how Stephan Korade had described, however, she corrected him, "it's not giving up shooting but choosing to shoot at the target I desire…"

This conversation was ended in the silence of Stephan Korade. However, when they were in the elevator, Stephan Korade claimed in a soft voice, "just continue to rent this apartment as your secret battlefield. You may come back when you would like."

"Of course yes." Sheena said with surprise, "we have a deal that I don't have to leave in the wedding apartment for the whole time, do I?"

Stephan Korade burst into laughter and finally nodded his head to show his agreement. Sheena did consider the wedding apartment as the pit of disaster. But Stephan Korade tried to persuade himself, [maybe it's just because she hasn't enjoyed the convenience of being rich and living in a big modern house.]

Of course, in front of Sheena, Stephan Korade had chosen to hide such thoughts and agree what Sheena had repeated in requiring. Deep inside his heart, he believed once a person had enjoyed the convenience of being rich, he/she would be lost in the traps of money.

Although Stephan Korade had insisted in paying the rental of Sheena's small apartment, Sheena had rejected in quite a serious face, claiming that she would like to reserve a part of herself that was not involved with other complicated things.

Stephan Korade didn't know why she was so stubborn in this case, after all that rental cost nothing of him. However, convinced by the persevering of Sheena, Stephan Korade stopped the engagement in this topic.

When Sheena dispatched her things into the new wedding apartment, Stephan Korade finally realized the living way of Sheena was almost similar to that of the ascetic monk.

"Are you maltreating yourself?" Stephan Korade roared with shocks, "how could a girl have so few clothes."

Inside the luggage case, only half of it were clothes while the other half was all kinds of things except dressing. According to the experience in the ex-girlfriends, Stephan Korade hadn't met a girl that paid so little attention to the dressing like Sheena.

"Don't you ever love a man? Why don't you ever put some attention to the dressing of yourself?" Stephan Korade looked at Sheena as if an ET.

Sheena rolled her eyes on Stephan Korade to show her dislike, which should have been awful enough to scare everybody out but ended up in the ignorance of Stephan Korade.

Stephan Korade just stood at the window wall and stared at Sheena who was busy in sorting the things out of the luggage cases.

Hearing the questions of Stephan Korade, Sheena just continued the sorting. Before Stephan Korade thought she wouldn't answer his questions, Sheena stopped and turned at him, "a man loving me would love what I am and how I am, right?"

It's Stephan Korade's turn to roll the eyes. Stephan Korade didn't expect Sheena would be so innocent like this. Didn't she realize man was a kind of animal that would care the appearance so much? No wonder Sheena was always in T-shirts and sneakers all the time, it turned out that she thought the appearance wasn't the major factor to attract men.

"Don't you know men are always attracted by the appearance of women?" Stephan Korade said in a ridiculing tone.

However, Sheena seemed to get the expected response and turned back to her sorting, "that's you. Someone would be different."

Not knowing why, from the tone that Sheena had used, Stephan Korade sensed her making that statement was not based on expectation but experience. Stephan Korade didn't know who that guy was, but he could sense Sheena had borne a view on him different from other men.

Disheartened deep down, Stephan Korade shrugged his shoulders to stop the digging into this topic. He couldn't wake up a woman that was pretending to be sleeping tight. Life would tell her the final answer to her statement now.

"Okay, fine." Stephan Korade was about to leave, however, right at the door, he stopped and looked back to Sheena kneeling down on the ground for the sorting, "it's late, would you mind having the dinner with me?"

Sheena looked up with surprise. When she was going to answer, the cellphone rang. Sheena picked up the phone and answer with a smile that Stephan Korade hadn't seen ever once. It's a kind of relaxedness that she would have in front of those people she felt acquainted.

At this moment, Stephan Korade was a little bit envious on the person talking in the other side of the phone call.

To get the answer of Sheena, Stephan Korade stood still at the door of the room.

The call didn't take long. When Sheena hanged up the phone, she looked at Stephan Korade with a pity in her eyes, "Sorry, I have a date."

Although Stephan Korade had guessed the answer right from the expressions of Sheena during the call, he still felt a little bit upset after Sheena released the confirmation.

What's more, Stephan Korade could sense that caller must be a man.
