Days had passed after the wedding dinner.
Sheena didn't know how much the family of Stephan Korade had given, but she knew that wouldn't be little, otherwise both Lena Lim and Evan Hathaway wouldn't just have disappeared for so long.
Sheena would pay a visit to Bryant Hathaway twice or triple a week, witnessing the weaker and weaker physical status of Bryant Hathaway.
"Sheena, come over" Doctor Miller had asked Sheena to the doctor's office when he saw Sheena was helping the nurse to look after Bryant Hathaway.
Sheena didn't want to be right in everything, but from the face of Doctor Miller, she knew it wasn't something of good news.
Doctor Miller stared at Sheena with pity in his eyes. From the days of observation, he had noticed only Sheena and a middle-aged woman but resplendent with jewels would come to the hospital to take care of this poor old man Bryant Hathaway. Among these two, only Sheena would join in the care from the nurse that they'd hired.
"Sheena, " Doctor Miller had quite a soft voice but it didn't change the hurt to Sheena, "Although you've spent a lot in trying to save your grandpa from the death, it just doesn't work." Doctor Miller was unwilling to claim this statement in front of Sheena, but the current status of Bryant had urged him to disclose this news to this poor family. Originally he desired to tell that middle-aged woman, who hadn't come since a few days ago.
Biting at the lips, Sheena tried to take a deep breath to calm herself down, "how could it be…"
Grandpa was the only one that had made her learn the warmth of family, but he just left so quickly before she could do anything to stop.

"Is the money on the account insufficient? Do you need more to cover the treatment?" Sheena just wanted to seek for more possibilities, "is there any new technologies working? Please don't hesitate in using it, we could spend more. Just tell me as long as it's needed." Sheena had learned to use the money to do something forcefully.
Right at this moment, Sheena would rather spend all her money to get what she loved the most back, as long as it would work.
Seeing the craziness in the eyes of Sheena, Doctor Miller shook his head and sighed, "I've the same wish, too."
Although he didn't continue the speech, Sheena was doomed for the face expression that he had borne.
Money did work in many things, but when it came to the hand of death, no one could fight against the death who played by the rules.
Patting on the shoulder of Sheena, Doctor Miller sighed and said in a low voice, "we'll do our best in the rest of time, but when it comes to the destined moment, you may have to take him back to enjoy the rest limited days."
Sheena could say nothing but nod her head and leave the office immediately.
She was unwilling to see the pitying sense full of the eyes of Miller. It's a kind of pity as if looking at the tramp who was homeless.
However, at this moment, Sheena thought Doctor Miller was right, because she was almost homeless, too. Among the whole family, the one caring Bryant Hathaway was no one but she. Lena did come, but she just did it for responsibilities. Sheena had ever come while Lena Lim was in the hospital.
Due to the limited hand, they obeyed the rule of one coming while the other was occupied by other cases or study tasks. So it's rare to see that when Sheena went to the hospital and Lena Lim was in the hospital, too.
Sheena originally was quite grateful for what Lena Lim had done for her grandpa Bryant Hathaway, because even her father Evan Hathaway didn't come frequently. She thought in this way until she came and meet Lena Lim in the hospital in the same time.
Sheena finally figured out that the nursing that Lena Lim had claimed in front of them was to sit by the bed and watch the mobile phone for the whole time. She didn't spare a glance at the still Bryant Hathaway even though the nurse had asked for help.
Sheena knew Lena Lim's marrying to her father Evan Hathaway did earn nothing while Evan Hathaway indeed had failed her. Lena Lim had done enough in the past days by not leaving the family when Evan Hathaway had lost himself in the gambling.
At least, Sheena did have a complete family.
This was the reason why Sheena didn't blame Lena Lim's inadvertence. What's more, they'd hired the assigned nurse that would look after Bryant Hathaway every day. Therefore, as long as Lena Lim was willing to came for monitoring, it's enough.
By thinking in this way, Sheena had felt better. Therefore, as long as the problem could be fixed with money, there was no need to be bothered by the feelings.
What's more, Doctor Miller had claimed that they would try the best as long they could afford those expenditures.
"Oh, you're finally back." The assigned nurse rushed to her with surprise, "Bryant has insisted in seeing you."
Due to the illness, Bryant Hathaway had become more and more childish. Every time when Sheena came, Bryant would never leave her for even a second.
Therefore, Sheena gave a forced smile to release herself and walked towards to the hospital bed.
"You're finally back!" Bryant Hathaway smiled with sparkling eyes when seeing the stepping-in of Sheena. "You have left for so long, what are you doing?" Bryant twitched his mouth to display his unhappiness, blaming Sheena without any covering.
Seeing the face of Bryant Hathaway, Sheena couldn't help bursting into laughter. At this moment, Sheena was free from anxiety and only felt the happiness fulfilling her heart. As long as Bryant Hathaway was here waiting for her, she would be willing to do whatever she could.
"Okay, it's fine, I'm here now, I'll accompany you to do whatever you like." Sheena comforted Bryant Hathaway and helped him to drink some water.
Bryant Hathaway was satisfied with smile.
Therefore, in the rest time of staying at the hospital, Sheena had accompanied Bryant Hathaway to have meals, stroll and even appreciate the sunset.
It's a rare for them to have such timing and both Bryant Hathaway and Sheena had enjoyed these moments.
"Sheena, I know I've missed your wedding dinner- the most important moment of your life," Before Sheena was about to leave, Bryant pulled her hand and apologized, "sorry for that, but I know you will have a better life after this marriage."
"I know. You always have made the best arrangement for me." Sheena understood the meaning of Bryant Hathaway, but she believed what had happened was the best arrangement.
"They may be greedy and cause trouble to you," Bryant just ignored the expressions of Sheena and continued, "what you should care is to try the best to plan for yourself."
"Yeah, they've gotten what they desire." Sheena repeated to herself, "they have the bigger house, expensive vehicle, the cashes..." if not, they wouldn't have no time to visit Grandpa Bryant Hathaway.
Right at this moment, they must have been busy in checking the new house and new car, as well as the decoration items.
"Sheena, if they cross the line," Bryant stopped by staring at Sheena firmly and softly, "just abandon the burdens, which should not be shouldered up by yourself."
"Eh…" Sheena nodded her head as agreement. Although at this moment she was trying to bear all of these, when the right time for doing the right things came, she would have to make some changes in the case dealing.
After hearing the confirmation of Sheena, Bryant Hathaway finally felt eased and waved his hands to say Goodbye.
Sheena left the hospital and rushed back home for the tasks that she had received from the superior which had required her to finish the task within two days.
Looking at the dozens of documents on the desk, Sheena felt a little bit exhausted. In fact, such workload would earn not that much, but Sheena couldn't find the means to earn more. Indeed these work could help her earn money, but these couldn't earn too much. And for such a status and position of Sheena, it's obvious that it's insufficient now. She needed to find more chances of making a fortune.

Suddenly, the cellphone rang and Sheena looked at the screen, seeing it's from Stephan Korade.
"What's going on?" Sheena picked up the phone and inquired, "it's so late at night."
"Tomorrow I'll help you to move into our apartment." Stephan Korade on the other side of the phone just clarified.
