Fu Rong, who sat at the furthest corner of the class, registered a new account on a hidden platform called IBK. Since she was short of money to buy medicines for her to level up her cultivation and bring back all her lost strength, she decided not to depend on fortune-telling in Feng Shui Street alone. So, she registered on IBK to take on missions for ghost exorcism with high bounties on them.
While she was browsing the bounty list, she came across an interesting mission. The mission was posted by three individuals who were third-generation, so-called young generations of wealthy families. They had posted a mission to ward off ghosts. She took the contact number and messaged them for details. "Hello, is it Young Master Zhu? Yeah, I want to know how the situation is and why you mentioned you are plagued by a ghost."
She got the reply immediately and the person requested the call with her. After she accepted it, Zhu Ximing started to tell what happened to them and how they are in dire situation.
Fu Rong heard what he told her about they seeing things. She closed her eyes to see to predict the past of Zhu Ximing as she heard from him and check what had resulted in them which made them to post a bounty on IBK and how they had seen something ugly.
Zhu Ximing was the third generation of a wealthy family. He was currently 19 years old, doing his degree. He and his friends were challenged to stay in the graveyard for a night; otherwise, they would have to kowtow in front of his classmates and accept that they were cowards. No normal human would tolerate such insults. So, he and his two other friends went to the graveyard and stayed for a night.
After they came back, they even boasted about it in the class and made the other group apologize. Everything went well for a few days, but gradually, one of his friends started seeing a lady in red, with a rotten face, disheveled hair, half-bitten and torn body with maggots, and her stomach cut open with all her inner organs hanging outside, crawling toward him asking why he had betrayed her.
Slowly, the other two friends also started seeing her often, and they realized the seriousness of the matter. They didn't want to tell their parents, fearing they would be beaten black and blue with their family punishment rods. So, they posted a mission with a bounty for ghost exorcism on a hidden forum.
Fu Rong's lips twitched. They had feared something they shouldn't but never feared going to the graveyard alone at midnight and staying throughout. They are really... something....
"Young Master Zhu, I need to see all three of you to check the auras on you. Only after that can I proceed with the exorcism. I will meet you in the coffee shop opposite Capital City First School this evening," Fu Rong spoke professionally with her indifferent, cold voice, which masked her young age.
As per the schedule, Fu Rong went to the coffee shop opposite her school. She didn't rush in immediately but stood outside, analyzing all three men. As she expected, those three prodigal sons had a ghost aura on them due to long exposure to yin energy. Particularly, the man in blue casuals had cadaveric black qi, which covered his face, and even Fu Rong couldn't see his real face.
She understood that the young man would definitely die within a week from the ghost that had latched onto him if she didn't intervene. But she didn't want to rush and instead chose to wait to test the attitude of these kids, since she was risking her life, and they should know to appreciate it.
