Chapter 1 - Rebirth (Part 1)

"Amalia, if you still have a trace of conscience, you should accept this matter. Don't forget, your current status and position are all thanks to the Rodriguez family."

"Without the Rodriguez family, you are nothing. Don't even mention that your foster parents have already gone bankrupt. Even if they hadn't, they couldn't have provided you with everything you have now."

"Look deep within yourself and ask, has my father ever mistreated you since you came to the Rodriguez family? He took care of you wholeheartedly, letting you freeload and stay in our house. He even sent you to a prestigious school like Heavenly Path. Have you never thought about repaying that kindness?"

"If it weren't for my father, with the meager abilities of your foster parents, they wouldn't have been able to send you to Heavenly Path University for cultivation, let alone heard of Heavenly Path."

"I'll give you five days to think about it."

Grace finished speaking and turned around with an arrogant swan-like neck, heading back to the bustling club.

Amalia Vanquez, or more precisely, Amalia Vanquez from a future world, was a female interstellar mercenary.

She was supposed to be carrying out a mission on a certain planet, but the collision of two planets resulted in a massive explosion that reduced the nearby spaceships to ashes, and sparing no one, including herself.

She had thought she was doomed, but when she opened her eyes, she found herself lying on the floor of an club restroom.

There was a pool of blood on the floor, and her chest felt like it was on fire, causing an intense pain.

As soon as Amalia left the club, Grace Rodriguez caught up with her from behind, and spouting a string of incomprehensible words before striding away arrogantly.

The unfamiliar environment, ancient architecture, and the suddenly inherited memories were all telling Amalia that she had been resurrected on the distant ancient Earth.

The original owner of the body was also named Amalia Vanquez.

During her cultivation, she had practiced against the natural order and had died before Amalia arrival.

Grace was the original owner cousin.

When the original owner was young, their parents died in a plane crash, and leaving her orphaned.

Due to the lack of contact from her biological parent's family, the original owner was sent to an orphanage and later adopted by Amalia current foster parents.

It wasn't until later the original owner uncle, Arthur Rodriguez, came to retrieve her and brought her back to the Rodriguez family, and sending her to Heavenly Path University for studies.

Heavenly Path University was a renowned cultivation institution in Fruit Country, the only one of its kind.

Its students were either from wealthy or prestigious families.

While there were a few commoner students, they were very rare.

Given the original owner background before she was being found and her lack of cultivation, she couldn't even dream of meeting Heavenly Path University entrance requirements.

The Rodriguez family did indeed show kindness to the original owner, but this goodwill was built upon their intention to use her.

Alex Rodriguez, Grace Rodriguez's older brother, was the Rodriguez family sole heir.

While the Rodriguez family held significant reputation in Big Apple City, they were merely a second or third-tier family on a national scale, they werer overshadowed by a more influential and powerful by people from the Rodriguez's main family.
