Chapter 4 - First Summon

**POV - MARK BLAKE**

When I arrive, I throw myself onto the bed, and sleep comes as a relief from all this madness.

**POV - MARK BLAKE**

When I wake up, I see that I'm still in the Marvel universe.

"Well, it's not a dream. I'd better get ready and see what these summons can do." I say, getting up and preparing for the day.

I finish getting dressed and check my phone for the time. "It's 10 AM. Looks like I overslept. Let's get on with this."

"Status," I say, and the System appears, showing my information.

SCP-146 - Bronze Head of Shame.

Class: Euclid

Description of SCP: SCP-146 is a hollow bronze head, apparently part of a complete statue or bust, depicting a young woman, or perhaps an effeminate young man, wearing a crown. The head exhibits a high degree of oxidation, causing the appearance of verdigris. SCP-146's crown is adorned with silver decorations, and its eyes (apparently the source of SCP-146's effects) are made of beaten silver, polished to be slightly reflective.

SCP-146 has the ability to access and bring to mind certain memories of those who make eye contact with the object. These memories are generally associated with feelings of guilt or shame in the individual. After the initial contact, it's enough for the individual to remain within SCP-146's field of vision for these memories and associated feelings to intensify, though maintaining eye contact can accelerate the process.

If someone maintains eye contact for too long, they may enter a state of deep sadness and shame, which can lead them to take their own life.]

[First Summon Bonus: 2 Basic Bases of the Foundation.

The basic setup of each base is 500 Base Personnel, 200 Armed Soldiers of Class C (Combat power equal to that of an American soldier), 20 Armed Soldiers of Class B (Peak Human Body), 20 Researchers of Class C (Postgraduate University Level), 6 Researchers of Class B (University Doctorate), 2 Researchers of Class A (University Professor). Various firearms, vehicles, 8 small nuclear warheads, and a Highly Technological Cell Phone.]

[Items for Containing SCP-146: Mobile Task Force - Blind.

15 Class C Soldiers and 3 Class B Soldiers.

Blind soldiers are highly trained to deal with SCPs that require eye contact to activate their abilities.]

I look in awe at everything I've received. '748 people in each base, an impressive number. Looks like they want me to command all of this. The workload is going to be heavy from now on.'

"Let's see where SCP-146 is located," I say and press the option to show the location.

[Location: Athens, Greece.

National Archaeological Museum of Athens.]

"Damn! Seriously, a head that can cause death just by eye contact appears in a museum?" I say in disbelief.

"Let's check out this phone." I take the phone from the system storage and see that it looks like a regular 21st-century phone, but when I turn it on, the Foundation's logo appears in high quality.

(Hello, Administrator. All authorized information.

Access Level: 6 USC) the phone's voice interface says.

"Interesting." I'm amazed, looking at all the information the Foundation has gathered over its years of existence.

"Okay, but now's not the time. I need to start the mission to contain SCP-146." I say and press the call button, requesting a vehicle to take me to where SCP-146 appeared.

I contact one of the Class A researchers. "What's the situation? Have you located SCP-146 yet?"

**Author's Note:** What did you think? I thought about starting with SCP-307 - Carnivorous Ivy, but that would be a blatant copy of the fanfic *Oh Sh*t, I'm in Marvel*. So I looked for another one to start with and found SCP-146. The capture is relatively easy to write, and I can add some things about the Marvel universe.

**Author's Note:** SCP-307 will be used in the future. I already have very different plans compared to the other fanfic.
