**POV - MARK BLAKE**
The soldiers and I arrived at our position. My squad was still inside the vehicles because we would initiate containment only when everyone was in position to avoid any mistakes. I saw the other squads' vehicles heading toward their respective entrances, and I heard a voice on the communicator.
"Squad 2 reporting: we've arrived at the location."
"Squad 3 reporting: we've also arrived at the location," another voice followed shortly.
"Okay, soldiers. Everyone prepare yourselves. When I give the order, we must start and finish containment as quickly as possible to minimize risks," I said through the communicator.
"Researcher Alex, are you ready to turn off the cameras? I don't want any footage of our soldiers leaking to the public just yet. We need to remain anonymous for now," I ordered.
"Yes, sir, we are in position. All museum cameras will be shut down, and our hackers will block cell signals within a 3 km radius, deleting any trace of our presence. You will have 30 minutes before anyone notices something's wrong. You could have more time, but at the moment, we don't have satellites in orbit hosting our intranet," the researcher responded.
"Okay, 30 minutes should be enough. We need to be quick. Is everyone ready?" I asked with authority.
"Yes, sir. Squad 2 is ready to initiate containment. Squad 3 ready to initiate containment," I heard the soldiers respond.
"Initiate SCP-146 containment operation, now!" I ordered through the communicator, and my squad began approaching the museum in the vehicles. We entered through the garden road and parked near the stairs.
"All cameras have been turned off, sir," I heard the researcher say.
My squad began exiting the vehicles, and we spotted four security guards in front of the museum. They drew their weapons and tried to use their radios, but before they could do anything, the soldiers shot tranquilizer darts, and the guards collapsed unconscious on the ground.
"Make sure they don't wake up before we finish the mission," I ordered, and we continued the invasion.
"Should we take them with us, sir? In case they say something to the authorities about us?" a soldier asked as they placed the four guards inside a room near the main entrance.
"No need. We won't remain anonymous forever, and this will help create some legend about the Foundation," I said, continuing forward.
We entered the museum, and I heard two voices on the communicator. "Squad 2 inside the museum. Squad 3 inside the museum."
"Squad 1 also inside the museum. Begin the search for SCP-146," I commanded, and we headed toward the location where SCP-146 had been detected.
I walked calmly while the soldiers with normal vision checked the rooms and hallways we passed through.
As we neared the corridor where SCP-146 was detected, the other two squads met up with us through the corridors.
"Sir, the four guards in our sector are all sedated," reported the Class B soldier leading the second squad.
"Sir, two guards are missing in our sector. They're possibly in the room where SCP-146 is," the commander of Squad 3 reported.
"We're close to SCP-146. We still have 20 minutes to leave the museum. We need to be quick. Everyone who comes into contact with the SCP must be taken to the Foundation," I said calmly as we continued toward the room where SCP-146 was located.
"Everyone stay alert. Only the Mobile Task Force should approach SCP-146. Any other squad members are strictly forbidden to disobey this order," I said with authority.
"Yes, sir!" everyone replied, and we arrived at the room where SCP-146 should have been.
As soon as we entered, we saw the statue of Poseidon. The room was filled with Greek historical artifacts, various busts, and statues all around.
"SCP-146 is not here. It's probably in the room ahead," I said as I noticed the SCP wasn't in this room, and we moved toward the next one. "Those who aren't part of the Mobile Task Force, stay behind and guard our backs. We'll enter the room."
As we entered the next room, we saw the bronze statue of the Antikythera Youth. I looked around and spotted SCP-146, with two security guards standing around it, both staring at the SCP. When they looked away, they immediately tried to reach for their weapons.
"Task Force, now! Remove the guards and contain SCP-146 inside the glass case. We need to transport it now. We have 19 minutes before the cameras reactivate," I ordered seriously.
The Blind Mobile Task Force began approaching SCP-146. Class C soldiers shot tranquilizers at the guards and handed them over to those standing outside the room. The three Class B soldiers approached SCP-146, and the air seemed colder as if the SCP was becoming agitated.
'Interesting, it looks exactly as the system described it: a metal head with oxidation spread across it, and its eyes appear silver. Its powers seem to be trying to affect me, but my resistance is blocking it from entering my mind,' I thought, observing SCP-146 with interest.
[SCP-146 detected. The object can be stored in the system.]
'You couldn't have warned me sooner? I could've brought fewer soldiers and just invaded and stored the SCP in the system. The Mobile Task Force was pointless in this case. At least I have a task force for future problems, like the Shy Guy,' I thought, feeling slightly embarrassed.
"Everyone, fall back," I ordered, and the three soldiers stopped and returned to me without question.
I approached SCP-146. As I got closer, I felt some mental attacks, but my resistance blocked them.
'How do I store it? System? Just by touching it?' I asked, but the system didn't respond.
I moved closer and placed my hand on SCP-146, and immediately, it disappeared.
[Containment successful.
Rewards: 1 Pack, Ability to trigger memories of Shame and Guilt, 2 Summoning Points, 1000 Exchange Points.
Congratulations on gaining control of SCP-146.]
[First Containment Reward: 1 Pack, 1 Medium Base, 5000 Exchange Points.]
[Basic Medium Base Configuration: capacity for 1000 people, 400 Class C armed soldiers, 40 Class B armed soldiers, 4 Class A soldiers (peak physical human condition and strategic minds), 40 Class C researchers, 12 Class B researchers, 4 Class A researchers. Various firearms, vehicles, 50 satellites in orbit, and 20 nuclear warheads.]
'The rewards are very generous,' I thought.
"All squads, prepare for evacuation. SCP-146 containment successful. Prepare the vehicles for extraction," I ordered as I received the rewards. We began preparing to leave the museum, while the soldiers carried the two unconscious guards.
=================
**Author's Note**: How was it? Good, bad, average? (It was the first containment, I know it was pretty easy, but let's be honest: SCP-146 can't move and stays completely still. The only dangerous thing about it is that it can affect those who stare into its eyes, but the MC has resistance against this type of mental invasion).
**Author's Note**: I didn't have anything specific in mind for the Class A soldiers, because they can't be superhuman like Captain America. So I modeled them after Class A researchers, but with minds focused on military tactics. The O5 Council is classified as Class A, as are several other researchers, so I think this class can vary by different criteria.
