Thunderous BOOMS rain down from all directions.
"Come now children, move quickly." Moon hurries them as explosions sound in the distance. a very young boy and girl run as they panic.
The explosions rumble the ground violently making it a struggle to run, as they make their way through a destroyed village.
Moon brings the kids to a tall shaggy man. "jackson. take these two to the edge of the village." She kneels down to bring herself eye level with them. "Mommy will be right back, Kate watch your little brother, and Kaid be brave ok?" She hugs them both tightly before dashing away.
Moon runs through a house that has yet to be hit by the devastation. She throws coverings off a bed. She smiles as she's greeted by her baby with a confused expression on his face. "Good to see you're safe, Kaito."
She undoes his wrappings and picks him up. She runs outside and she's greeted by another woman. "Moon it's terrible, he's here." She says alluding to the presence of a man.
Moon looks worried. "if he's here then that means they all are." She grits her teeth.
A large muscular man appears. "What's our plan?" He asks.
The other woman looks at him confused. "What do you mean what's the plan, we get out of here and survive!" she yells at him.
The man grits his teeth. "These people are never gonna stop chasing us. I say we end this here and now." He suggests as he furrows his brow.
Moon looks down at Kaito's face and he still seems confused, he's not even crying despite all the noise.
A blast is fired at them. Moon raises her hand and blocks the attack. Magic dispels in the air and the glow illuminates her face as she stares at a man floating in the sky. Moon hands Kaito over to the man. "Sun please take our child and leave this place." She says, never breaking eye contact with the man in the sky.
Sun smiles. "so we're doing this!" He exclaims.
The woman places her hand on Moon's shoulder. "Moon no, don't do this, never become the woman you once were." She says, her eyes beginning to tear up.
Moon faces her. "May..." She silently responds. "If you go out there and fight there's no coming back from what happens next we're better then that now." May tells her sister.
Sun stomps startling Kaito. "No we're not running away they've come into our territory and we're warriors!" He barks at May.
Moon sigh's. "I'm not a warrior anymore." She says as she looks at Kaito and runs her fingers through his hair making him laugh. She smiles back at him. "i'm a mother." She says as she begins to glow. The light is warm and Kaito laughs.
Moon swipes her arm and the light spills onto the ground and then grows into a wall. It's blinding and once it's dropped the man in the sky sees they retreated.
As they're running another woman appears. "Chief we've evacuated everyone!" She says to Moon.
They escape to the edge of town and May begins writing in the grass. "This will be the last time we're found." She presses her hand together and chants. She stabs her hand and slams her bleeding palm onto the drawing. "A blood sigil." She says as she finishes.
She uses hand signs and then they're teleported away.
