Kaito year 6
The grass flows peacefully as a Boar eats. Kaito creeps down low barely moving an inch as he watches the Boar.
He creeps closer careful trying to be as silent as possible. Slowly, one foot after another he gets closer and closer to his prey. The Boar continues to eat it's food, blissfully unaware of the danger it is in.
Kaito slows his breath. "Come on, you got this Kaito." He thinks to himself. he steps forwards and he accidently steps on a stick and it breaks.
The boar stops eating and looks around. Kaito holds his breath so that all can be heard is the grass being blown by the wind and the chirping of the birds.
Once the boar goes back to eating, he makes his move and in one swift motion he takes the Boar down. Kaito jumps for Joy. "I did it! I hunted it all by myself!" He says as he then goes down onto his knees and prays. "Thank you for your sacrifice." He says before he hauls it back to his village.
May notices and she laughs when she sees him. "Looks like you were serious about your own hunt." She says as he smiles. "Yeah Kaid's gonna be soo jealous." Kaito says happily.
"Oh am I?" A voice sounds behind Kaito. Kaito turns around to see Kaid brung something back double the size of his boar. "What!" Kaito yells shocked. "Should have tried a bit harder." Kaid says to him.
A body of an even larger beast is thrown down besides them. "Both of you need to try Harder!" Kate yells as she stands on top of the huge beast.
Both of the boys look in awe at her catch. "How did you even catch this thing?!" Kaid questions. Kate smiles and glows as she summons a large white tiger with golden stripes. "With snowball of course." She says as the tiger licks his paws. "You used your summoning magic, that's no fair!" Kaid yells. Kate shakes her head. "It's totally fair, i was born with it!" Kate yells back.
The three of them turn their attention to their father. "You all have returned." He says. They all come over to him excitedly and nod happily. "Dad look i hunted one all by myself this time!" Kaito happily tells him.
Kaid shoves him out of the way. "But mines way bigger look!" Kaid says to him.
Sun looks at the large one. "And who hunted this one?" He points and asks.
Kate comes over happily. "I did dad i got it!" She says happily but Sun only smiles and then turns back to Kaid. "you've let your sister win again. I expect you to do better next time." He says silently so only Kaid hears.
Sun then turns bright and happy. "Good hunting kids, trainings tomorrow." He says as he heads for the exit of town.
Kaid looks confused. "Dad where are you going, it's getting dark?" He asks him
Sun smiles. "I'm going onto a hunt of my own actually." He responds. Kate looks at her watch. "At this hour?" She asks.
Sun nearly laughs but he holds it in. "Yes, see this is a special hunt, tonight i'm hunting a king." Sun says and the boys get excited. Kate isn't too interested in fighting.
"A monster king?!" Kaid asks excitedly. "Can we come, can we come?" Kaito asks happily. The boys come over to him, hoping to join the hunt.
Sun laughs as he pets their heads. "Of course not, your mother would kill me if i let you walk yourselves into a danger like that." He says. As Sun waves goodbye, he says, "Don't wait up for me tonight. I'll be back as soon as I can."
