The crowd chorused and clapped in unison. Everyone was excited about Mister Snake and Mister Lizard's final decision.
"Well done, Mister Snake. I believed in him and he held me tenderly that day. It was so dreamy, and he said to me, "go miss pretty wings, flap along," Luna the butterfly said in a dreamy voice.
A loud "HUM" came from the crowd.
"Seize telling us your tales, Miss Butterfly. You must remember that the boy is a human, and you're nothing but a shiny butterfly," Mister Lizard jealousy shot at Luna the butterfly.
Luna the butterfly angrily flapped her wings and wanted to reply to him with insults.
"Let me at him," she declared.
"Don't answer him, he may be one of the secret admirers you do not know, let him be," Sleeky, the beautiful silkworm, held her back.
Luna the butterfly shot back at Mister Lizard with a deadly look and Mister Lizard ignored her and continued to nod his head like lizards do.
"So what is the plan?" Mrs Elephant asked again.
"Let's summarize so that Mrs Jane can go back to the colony. Her workers, drones and larvae need her."
Mrs Jane nodded in agreement to what Mrs Elephant said and motioned for Dickson the drone and Perrie the worker to stand with her on the podium.
"Mrs Jane, we will send an army of bees to come over to your hive with some architectural items and restructure the places the little boy had destroyed. Be strong. These are trying times, and we will deal with it," A queen bee from another hive offered.
"Thank you, Queen Elena," Mrs Jane appreciated, then she got the drone and the worker bee to appreciate it too.
"Thank you queen Elena, the hive is grateful," Perrie and Dickson chorused.
The queen bee simply nodded in acceptance.
"You know how the chip works. When he is fast asleep, you take the chip to his room and fly on his head. Then you'll hand it over to the lice, and they will put it on the head of the boy," Mister Sid the snake announced.
"My men have reported that the boy sleeps a little too loosely. They are camping there and will do the job immaculately."
"Good," Mister Snake replied.
Mrs Jane the bee put the chip in her bag and made to leave.
"We shall leave now, the hive needs us. Thank you everyone for the assurance and the quick response, and thank you everyone for coming. The queen is grateful," Mrs Jane said and within a flipping of a book, she and her escorts disappeared through the teleport channel.
One by one, animals began to disappear and go back to their habitats.
All the animals came through a teleport system, so everyone opened their portals and began to teleport.
Only a few animals, like Mrs Elephant, Mister Walrus and Cindy the chipmunk, along with other animals that had gluttonous tendencies, stayed back to see what was on the menu for dessert.
"There is food and refreshments for more animals that may want to linger around for the longest. Thank you everyone for coming to my den and thank you, Mister Snake, for always gathering the animals in times of need. You're truly a leader," Simon the Lion commended Mister Snake.
He was the leader of the lions, and he was the owner of the den that held the animal meetings.
He was also the secretary of the animal headquarters.
Manny was at home, and it was around three o'clock in the morning by the time the animals had come back, and Mrs Jane asked Perrie and Dickson to go back to the hive and coordinate the bees.
"Go back to the hive. I have a score to settle," Mrs Jane said to the bees and went to Manny's house to continue what she had planned.
Perrie went to the hive to tuck the baby bees to sleep and possibly read them a bedtime story.
By the time Perrie reached the hive, the drones were having a party outside, laughing, dancing and making jokes.
Perrie stopped the lazy drones and put them in order.
"Are you not ashamed? The queen is on the verge of life and death, and you have to continue this foolishness. Can you stop?" Perrie commanded.
"Stop telling us what to do, you're not our queen," one drone, drunk on nectar, said to Perrie.
"Yeah, don't tell us what to do, girl!" Another shot out.
Perrie looked at Dickson with a brow raised. She wanted him to address his bees and say something about the situation.
"Erm guys, it's actually more serious than you think it is," Dickson said to the drones as he scratched his head.
The drones burst out in laughter.
"Dickson has gotten himself a worker girlfriend, and now he thinks he is better than us! Simp!" Another drone kicked from the crowd.
"Stop! The queen is on the verge of death!" Dickson announced, and after the announcement, the drones put themselves in order.
"It's up to us to save our hive and if we don't, we may all become extinct!"
"NO!!" The drones chorused and began to run around the place.
The drones were sad and surprised, and they knew what it meant. Perrie shook her head in disappointment.
"There's no need to panic, just get to work," Perrie said, and the drones composed themselves again.
"That's right! Let's get back to work guys," one drone said.
"Yeah, we should. We love our beloved queen, and we want her to be in good health."
They swarmed around the flowers and began to filter the nectar, in order to take it to the worker bees so that the hive could be restored.
"Good!" Perrie said, as she felt proud that the drones had some motivation.
"I'm proud of you too for speaking up," Perrie said to Dickson, and he gave off a very large smile.
A worker bee had never told him that before and it made his day.
Mrs Jane looked around from side to side to make sure that no one was looking. She crept into Manny's room with a little metal stick and wrote on Manny's arm:
"THE BEES HAVE WARNED YOU. YOU BETTER BEHAVE," Mrs Jane wrote and pierced Manny's skin with the small metal rod that her bee hands could carry.
"That will do. Hopefully this will teach him a lesson," Mrs Jane said. And with that she flew back to the hive.
This was her way of giving Manny a warning. It would become a visible wound by morning.
She then smeared herself with some of Manny's honey nectar air freshener and left the room.
That night, as Manny lay in bed, he felt a strange tingling s
ensation in his body. He tried to ignore it, but it grew stronger and stronger until he was unable to sleep.
