Abigail smiled ruefully before responding, "Lana, are you sure you want to hear my story? It might trigger your anger, and I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to throw something to let it out..."
"Is it really that bad?" Lana asked, shocked by Abigail's warning.
"Mmm, that's why I'm warning you. If you can handle it, I'll tell you what happened to me." Her breakup with Ryland was overwhelming.
Abigail still vividly remembered almost falling from a fifteen-story building because of her mistakes. She felt fortunate to have met Sawyer that day; if she hadn't, she might not be having this conversation now.
