She said, "Forgive me, child, because of me, you've had to endure so much pain and humiliation."
Hearing his words, Riya says, "No, grandma, I will not forgive you. What your grandson did today, I will never forgive him for that. I never expected this from Nishiv. He humiliated me so badly; I will never forget it, never. Nishiv will have to pay a heavy price for this." Saying this, she storms off in anger.
Grandma watches all this with worry. Afterward, looking at the floor, grandma says, "That girl hurt her foot, and I don't think Nishiv will pay any attention to it. Who knows what compulsion she had that made her marry Nishiv? Because from looking at her condition, grandma had already understood that she didn't marry of her own will. Nishiv must have forced her into this marriage."
At that moment, the girl who had helped grandma says, "Yes, grandma, I'm worried too. Who knows what will happen now? And she got hurt badly, there was so much blood, see, there are bloodstains from here to the upper floor from her feet. Grandma, we should go and check." Hearing her words, grandma says, "No, Avni, we cannot go there. You know how heightened his anger is right now. If we go there, it won't be good."
Hearing grandma's words, the girl named Avni says, "You're right, grandma. Come, let me take you to your room." After that, she starts leading grandma toward the room.
Meanwhile, Nishiv brings the girl to the room and shuts the door. The door slams so loudly that the girl flinches. The girl was still standing quietly. Since the marriage, she hadn't said a single word.
Nishiv comes into the room and, looking at her angrily, says, "Listen to me carefully, and get this into your head—after what happened outside, don't make the mistake of thinking that I'm ready to accept you as my wife.
In the eyes of the world, in the eyes of the family, you may be my wife, but inside this room, inside these four walls, you are nothing to me. Outside, you will get the status, the respect that Nishiv Rathore's wife should get, but behind closed doors, you and I are strangers—just strangers.
And one more thing, this pretense, this act for the outside world, you will have to carry on. No one should ever suspect that this is all just a farce. Don't even think about telling anyone that our marriage is fake. This marriage will bring you nothing but pain. I'll turn your life into a living hell. I'll make you suffer so much."
By this point, Nishiv's mind was completely deranged. He moves forward, grabbing the girl by her arm, just as he was about to say something further, he notices that her eyes are starting to close, and in the next moment, her body goes limp. Before the girl can fall, Nishiv catches her.
The girl had fainted, and Nishiv, holding her in his arms, looks at her. For the first time, Nishiv notices the girl's condition. Her entire face was soaked with tears, and her hair was disheveled, with strands falling over her face.
Her beautiful face looked withered, as though her beauty had faded away. The girl, who was unconscious in his arms, could still attract people with her beauty even in this state of unconsciousness.
Her soft, delicate skin, marred with vermillion and tear stains, was still glowing. Although her face looked withered, it somehow seemed even more attractive, her beauty heightened by her condition. For a moment, Nishiv just stared at the unconscious girl in his arms. Just then, his focus breaks, and his gaze shifts to the floor.
As soon as he looks down, he sees that the girl's feet were bleeding because there were bloodstains on the floor from her feet. Nishiv narrows his eyes at the sight, then lifts the girl in his arms and lays her on the bed. After placing her on the bed, Nishiv goes into the bathroom.
A while later, Nishiv comes out of the bathroom and glances at the unconscious girl lying on the bed, the girl who, from today, was his wife. Looking at her, Nishiv says, "I don't accept you as my wife. I hate you. I only hate you. The only reason I married you was so that I could ruin your life, destroy you. To take my revenge on you." As he says this, Nishiv's face hardens.
He averts his gaze from her and walks out to the balcony. Once on the balcony, Nishiv lights a cigarette and begins smoking. Blowing smoke into the air, Nishiv gets lost in his thoughts.
A face starts to appear before his eyes, and suddenly, Nishiv hears someone screaming in his ears. As soon as Nishiv hears the scream, he opens his eyes, his eyes burning with rage. He stares angrily ahead.
The next morning, when the girl opens her eyes, she feels as if someone had lovingly stroked her forehead. As soon as she feels this, she opens her eyes and looks around to see grandma sitting beside her. At first, the girl doesn't understand anything, but when she realizes where she is and who is sitting in front of her, she sits up.
Once again, the girl lowers her gaze. Seeing her like this, grandma says, "I'm Nishiv's grandmother. Are you okay, child?" Hearing this, the girl looks up at grandma. Once again, tears fill her eyes.
Hearing grandma's question, the girl looks at her as if she wanted to say, "Does it seem like I'm okay just by looking at me?" But still, with her tear-filled eyes, she simply says, "Yes."
Grandma looks at her face and understands that her words didn't match her expression. Just by looking at her, grandma could tell that she was nowhere near okay. The girl's condition was still the same as it was when she had arrived yesterday.
Grandma says nothing because she knew that after what had happened, the girl couldn't possibly be okay. Grandma then asks, "What's your name?" Hearing her question, the girl softly says, "My name is Nandini." Grandma says, "Such a beautiful name, Nandini."
After that, grandma asks Nandini, "Who are you, child? Where do you live? Who are your family members? What does your father do?" As soon as Nandini hears so many questions from grandma, she looks at her, and the tears that had been welling up in her eyes now spill onto her cheeks.

Why does Nishiv harbor so much hatred? Why does he hate Nandini so much, and what was Nandini's compulsion that she married a man like him, knowing everything?
