So far,
Grandmother looks at her face and thinks about her words, both not matching. Just by looking at her, she could tell that something was not right. The girl's condition was the same as when she arrived yesterday. After hearing the girl's words, Grandma didn't say anything, knowing that whatever had happened to her, she couldn't be okay. Grandma then asks, "What is your name?" The girl softly replies, "My name is Nandini."
Grandma smiles and says, "Nandini, such a lovely name."
Then she asks, "Child, who are you? Where do you live? Who are your family members? What does your father do?" As soon as Nandini hears all these questions, she looks at Grandma, and tears start to roll down her cheeks.
Grandma quickly understands that something is definitely wrong with Nandini. She says, "It’s okay, child. We’ll talk about it later. You don’t look well. Go and take a bath; I’ll send you some clothes." Saying this, she gently places her hand on Nandini's cheek and walks out of the room with Avni.
Nandini watches them leave, then gets up and heads toward the bathroom, as Grandma had suggested. On her way, she catches a glimpse of herself in the mirror and pauses for a moment. She looks at her reflection and wonders, "What have I become?" She stares at herself for a while without any emotion, then heads into the bathroom to take a bath.
A while later, Nandini steps out after her bath. Since Grandma had said she’d send clothes, she went in without grabbing any. It’s only when she’s in the bathroom that she realizes she had forgotten to bring them, so she puts on a bathrobe and walks out. Her hair is wet, and droplets of water are still dripping from her face.
Her face, now clean, reveals her glowing, fair skin. She steps out and notices the clothes lying on the bed. As she moves to grab them, suddenly, Nishiv enters the room.
As soon as he enters, his eyes fall on Nandini. Seeing her in a bathrobe, he can’t take his eyes off her. Already so beautiful, she looks even more stunning in the robe, which accentuates her beauty. His gaze moves from her feet to her wet hair, with water dripping down her face, down her neck, and onto her chest. The loose robe reveals a bit of her chest, causing Nishiv to feel his throat dry up. He begins to lose control as she looks incredibly sexy at that moment.
When Nandini sees Nishiv in the room, she freezes for a moment. Unsure of what to do, she contemplates going back inside or staying where she is. But her legs seem to fail her as she feels a sudden wave of embarrassment, standing there in just a bathrobe.
Slowly, Nishiv begins to approach her. The sight of her in this state makes him lose control. Nandini steps back, but before she can retreat further, Nishiv reaches her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close. He gently caresses her face, lifting it to meet his gaze, then begins to kiss her.
Nandini, too shocked to react, stands frozen, staring into his eyes. The emotions in Nishiv's eyes are unlike anything she had seen before. He leans closer and presses his lips against hers, kissing her passionately. Nandini is taken aback by this unexpected kiss.
Nishiv kisses her relentlessly, biting her lips. His hands are tightly gripping her waist as he pulls her against him. Nandini's hands rest on his chest, neither resisting nor responding, as she knows she can't stop him. Nishiv was free to do as he pleased.
He kisses her lips, sometimes biting, moving down her neck and kissing her there, too. As he moves, Nandini's breathing quickens. He brings his lips from her neck to her chest and continues to kiss her.
Nishiv's aggressive kisses and bites cause Nandini pain, and she begins to cry softly. Her tears stream down her face, but Nishiv seems oblivious, too absorbed in his actions.
Suddenly, Nishiv’s phone rings, snapping him out of his trance. Angry at the interruption, he reluctantly pulls away from Nandini, though his hands remain around her waist.
He looks at her and says, "Don’t mistake what just happened. I don’t consider you my wife, nor was I attracted to you because of your beauty. I could have done the same with any girl if I felt like it. You’re just someone I wanted to play with. Don’t get any wrong ideas."
With that, he walks out of the room, still fuming about the call. Nandini, left behind, feels a wave of sorrow as tears fall down her cheeks. She steps back and leans against the wall, closing her eyes in pain.
After crying for a while, she gathers herself, wipes away her tears, and heads to the bathroom to change. Once dressed, she comes downstairs after being called by a maid who says Grandma is asking for her.
As Nandini reaches the hall, she sees a girl standing thereâ€"Riya. Nandini recognizes her from the wedding the previous day, though she doesn’t know her name. Seeing Riya, Nandini slows her steps. Riya, filled with anger, walks over to her.
The hall is empty, and Riya stands before Nandini, clearly furious. She shouts, "It’s all because of you! Because of you, Nishiv didn’t marry me. If it weren’t for you, he’d be mine. How dare you steal him from me?!" Saying this, she raises her hand to slap Nandini, but someone catches her hand and pushes her back.
Riya stumbles backward, shocked to see that it’s none other than Nishiv.
He places his hand around Nandini’s waist, saying, "She’s my wife. Don’t you dare lay a hand on her or even speak against her, or you’ll regret it."
Nandini’s eyes fill with tears again. How, just a while ago, Nishiv had forced himself on her and denied their marriage, yet here he is, defending her in front of everyone as his wife. Only Nandini knows the truth.
Again, tears of pain well up in her eyes, and she closes them, knowing the agony in her heart.
