Adam spent a few minutes relishing in the feeling of freedom. His body mirrored that of humans, but without the unnecessary things. For example, he has no brain as he had no need for it. His core served as both heart and brain where his consciousness resided.
So decapitating him was practically pointless. Even stabbing him in the chest would do nothing more than to add stronger materials to his body's composition. Unless, that is, one had a weapon strong enough to actually destroy a world's core. Another thing he did not have were lungs. He had no need to breathe after all, but that did not mean that he had no nerves and olfactory receptors.
As he stood in the sky in his bare beauty, a subtle breeze flew past Adam and he caught a whiff of something absolutely disgusting. The stench was so horrible that it immediately pervaded his senses, overwhelming his newly created nervous system.
In an uncontrolled reflex, he began gag as his metaphorical stomach churned. Yes, he did not have a digestive system, but he did have a tongue to taste food should he wish to indulge. After dry heaving for a few moments, Adam recomposed himself, turning off his sense of smell. He instead connected with his main body, the planet Earth, to find the source of that horrid stench.
It was a simple search really. It was like he had eyes all over the world, whether it be in the atmosphere, underwater or even in every grain of sand and dirt. He could sense everything, and so he found the atrocious heaps of trash, chemicals and even radioactive wastes that have been unearthed during his redesigning of the geography.
Adam boiled in fury, barely reining in the impulse to just butcher every single human left alive. These damned ingrates have the audacity to claim ownership of his body when they themselves cause his slow and painful eventual death. He ought to throw them all into the sun.
But he cannot do that because he needed these humans to slave away for his benefit. They would regrow their civilisation, this time under his direction. That is one of the necessary requirements for Earth to grow outside of his plan to conquer other worlds and devour them to evolve.
Adam quickly focused on his first act as a living being. While flying across the world, he delicately used his gravitational force to specifically target the waste that littered his main body. There was simply too many of them however.
It took him a few hours just to bring everything into the space just outside of Earth's atmosphere. If he was not a planet, his mind would have already been greatly strained by controlling not just his own gravity but also Earth's gravity.
Once he had gathered all the waste in orbit, he pressed them together into a ball of trash that seemed rather volatile. Perhaps it was not such a good idea to press radioactive waste too much, but for the moment, it was not much of a threat. As long as no additional pressure was applied to it, it would not explode. Adam secured it in a safe orbit before returning to Earth.
Honestly, he was currently at a loss. He did not know how to proceed from here. Does he meet with the humans and command them to rebuild their civilisation or does he just let it happen naturally?
Well, even if he does not meet them, the humans have already seen him flying across the sky dragging all the trash in the world with him so their sense of reality was already quite distorted. They would naturally be able to connect the disaster to him and would then be busy looking over their shoulders for any signs of an alien invasion or whatever nonsense they could think of.
He also did not know what kind of civilisation and society he wanted them to build. Should they remain with their old law and order or should they grow into a space-faring civilisation? Or perhaps they should prepare for a future apocalypse. Not that Adam would allow such a thing to happen.
He has had enough of apocalypses. And to ensure that he never experiences it again, he would venture out into the universe and grow stronger.
How would he grow stronger?
That is a simple question. How does an organism grow throughout their life? How do they get the energy to spend in their daily activities? By eating, of course. And for Adam, that meant devouring other planets.
Cannibalism, you say? Does he look like a fucking human? Well, he does, but he definitely is not a human. And he would not care either way. As long as he survives, nothing else matters. In the first place, he was unlike any other planet. While other planets could barely be considered alive, he was well and truly living and sentient. He was different.
