Evie's POV:
When we reached the dining table, I saw four faces one was a man with jet black hair like that of Kyle's, pale skin and blue eyes. He resembled kyle in a way but seemed a lot more tough he gave a blank expression and a dangerous aura. He didn't glance which gave me enough time to look away.
'He must be the king' I thought and looked down.
"Good morning son" said a female voice from the corner of my right eye, I saw a pair of emerald green eyes dirty blonde short hair, an oval face, straight and pointed nose, pink lips with a very pale skin, who I assume must be queen "morning mum, "morning father, Daniella and Samuel" they all nodded "this must be your new pet..." said a voice.
"yes Sam." it was prince Samuel. When I took a quick glance that him he had emerald green eyes and blonde hair like that of the queen,brown lips like Kyle's but with a perfectly shaped jawline. Realizing that I was starring, I quickly looked down. At that moment I could feel his burning gaze on me, as if he knew what I did . I mentally scolded my self for breaking a rule. Then I heard a voice at the corner of my eyes l saw a girl who I assume is Danielle she was flawless, she had only a few resemblance to the queen and king, she had black long silky hair, blue eyes, pink lips and was wearing a brown v-neck shirt and black jeans she looked 18 in human year to be precised. "Hello?! I asked a question here! "she said looking at kyle "what's her name?"
" It's Evie. Her name is Evie." He said calmly but one look at him showed me that he was getting annoyed, while princess Daniella seemed excited to see me "can I play with her sometime brother?"she asked "No"was all he said "okay but can I at least talk to h-"she didn't get to finish her sentence,because the servants came with the food and kyle sat on the chair at the right and I on the floor right next to him. I noticed a boy around my age sitting on the floor next to the king he looked like I'd been bitten more often than I could count and was thinner than I was. He had ocean blue eyes and a body which looked like he had more bones than flesh. He looked sad but also nice. It seems like he was the King's pet."h-hey m-my name is Mason. how are you? and what's your name?"
"I'm Evie k..master kyles pet are you the King's pet?" He nodded "oh" was all I said.
Later after we were given our food which wasn't much considering that it was only two slice of bread, some eggs and Bacon with a glass of water. We ate and when I was done I waited for kyle. While waiting I talked with mason turns out he was from new York and was captured when he was 11 and was transferred to Florida and was bought by the king himself. We knew they could hear us but they didn't seem to mind and its not like we said anything that could provoke them. I watched as his eyes lightened up at the memory of his childhood before he was bought and before his parents died trying to save him,when the memories of how he was bought came up,his eyes and voice became croaky, so i comforted him and tried to cheer him up by saying some dumb jokes. when kyle was done he and I left the dining room.
At the stairs kyle was summoned by his father for some important work leaving me. Did I mention ALONE. Three more steps and I'm in front of the door leading to kyles room. Just then I felt a a gush of wind and in the blink of an eye Samuel is in front of me smirking. Before I could even say a word he pinned me to the wall and held my hand above my head. "What....a...are yo...you doing" I said shuttering
"Why, isn't your voice pretty. you know your blood smells so nice. " He said bring his face closer to my neck by now I was finding it hard to breath. I didn't know if i should be scared that he'll bite me or that I might die.
I tried to push him off me but he tightened his grip on me when i felt like crying I closed my eyes and took deep breaths while he touched the spot were kyle had bitten me which, surprisingly wasn't painful anymore instead it just tingles when i touch it. "Ah! I see, my brother has actually bitten you. And you survived? before he got you he would almost immediately drink his pets dry, that's why mother banned him from having pets for a while until we could find a way to help him with what I and father belief is his defect you know, so if it hadn't been for the liquid he drin-oops. I think I said too much. " he said moving his face closer to my neck and bringing his fangs out.
Before he could sink his into my neck he is being pushed to the wall, by kyle it took me a few moment to recover from the shock of almost being bitten. I realized I was panting and touching the spot he almost bit, while Kyle and Samuel were hitting each other when they were done Kyle said "Don't you ever and I mean ever touch any of my things without my permission, she is MINE! Got it? "
"Brother you can stop me but you can't stop your mate from feeding from her. That is, if you even find her. " He said with a smirk and then he was gone. while I stood dumbfounded while Kyle glared at the direction he went through.
