Kyle's POV:
"Evie are you alright?" I asked but she looked like she was in a trance "Evie" I raised my voice a little " y....yes kyle....I'm...f..fine" she shuttered. she may say that she is fine but her hazel green eyes says something else.
I looked around and noticed that we were still in the Hall way. "let's go back to my room." When we reached my room I remembered that I needed to tell her something but, the question she asked cut me off guard.
"Why did you hit your brother for me, I get that vampires are possessive..b..but why would you hit him?" She said clearly shocked
"Please tell me the truth kyle" she seemed confused but I wouldn't blame her I would be to if I was in her shoes. I thought about what the consequences of telling her will be, but not telling her would curse more confusion for her, plus based on what I found out she has the right to know everything after all it's connected to her. I finally decided to tell her the whole truth "look Evie you might wanna sit down for this alright....um..where...where do I start from" I said while she sat down at the right side of the bed. " well it all started when I saw you...." I told her everything about us and why I'm so drawn to her, but I haven't said what I wanted to tell her yet I wanted to see her reaction to this first. When i told her, she looked like she was in a trance and her eyes held a lot of questions and emotions. She was silent for a while.
"I thought only werewolves and vampires get to have mates and that they are mated to their kinds" she mumbled to herself cutting me off
"But why would they...why would I be...." " I don't know either. "
"There is something else I haven't told you yet and I'm not sure you're ready to hear it"
"N...No I'm just shocked that's all, and have some questions"
"Okay so where so we begin?"
"Um...are you going to reject me?" Now, that question wasn't what I expected that all I expected questions like 'I'm I going to die or what are your family members going to do to me?' But I guess my mate isn't worried about that, right now the lady standing in front of me, seemed more concerned about what I'm going to do about us, I don't know about her but anytime I'm with her I feel so alive and happy. I'm not sure if it's the mate bond but I feel somewhat drawn to her but I'm not going to rush things with her I'm just going to take it easy though, one thing is for sure my feelings for her has increased

Kyle" said Evie pulling me out of my thoughts
"Yeah, oh!...sorry well at this point there is no use hiding any thing from you so No I won't, because I'm already falling for you ."
"Oh" was all she said looking relieved at my answer. Wait did she think I would reject her? I thought.
