It was a dark morning, the thunder was growling and the rain was smashing against the palace window, pebbles were falling from the sky and the wind was screaming like a mother giving birth. On the cold and blank bed laid Morvanna, with a tear running down her face, her eyes red, her hair scuffed, and her dark green skin crusty. She was alone inside the room, Zarok wasn't there, and no one was there. Perhaps, if she had loved her children maybe someone would be with her, but no, she shut up her heart to love that is not from her husband, not even love, attention. She only wanted attention, but she never gave any, she expected the crops to grow without watering.
Knock, Knock!
Someone was at the door. The person then opened the door and he was a short, dark-green-skinned man, with a rusty crown made up of cheap iron upon his head.
"Honey, the plan is ready," The man said. Morvanna stood up and looked over at the man,
"Zarok?" Morvanna's eyes widened with shock and surprise,
Why is he here? Why am I here? These were the questions that Morvanna was asking herself.
"Oh hey darling, I apologize that you must see me in this form, please allow me to fix myself!" Morvanna said whilst covering her face with her hands and turning her head away. Zarok was confused but he just hummed at her to go. Morvanna then sprinted to the bathroom where she then brushed her teeth and hair, and did her makeup. She also got dressed in her usual attire and started to walk back to the room. She opened the door with a soft hand, as though the handle would eat her beautiful, chubby, green lengthy hands.
"Great, you're back, let us discuss now," Zarok said. He was straightforward, he didn't waste any time. He only ever wanted advantages over anything and everything.
"Honey, you look amazing this morning!" Morvanna said with a dark smile, a literal dark smile. Her teeth were black.
"Thank you, I suppose. Anyways, we will have to ally with the great, purple, dragon-god brother, Nightsmith Dominiu!" Zarok said with eyes as sharp as the edge of a katana. The rain started to pour harder and harder and thunder was surrounding the palace. Those pebbles turned into rocks and it was smashing into the ground, leaving tiny craters onto the ground. If not for the palace's God-gifted material, it would've been smashed to bits. The wind started screaming louder and louder like a woman being pierced with a dagger through the heart.
"What? You mean one of the Gods that guard the border! Ha!" Morvanna laughed at Zarok's plan,
"As if a God would ever ally with us on such a serious subject! Do you want to lose your whole kingdom for this silly little plan?" Morvanna said with a single tear dripping from her right eye,
"Honey, open up your eyes! His name is Nightsmith! He is purple! If that doesn't scream out Umbra to you, then I don't know what does." Zarok replied with a serious yet excited tone.
"In that case, we should go for it-" Morvanna moved closer, face to face with Zarok, rubbing his cheeks, "-just be careful honey," Morvanna said trying to sound gentle but her Goblin voice cords were not allowing her to. Zarok pushed her off of himself, making that one tear of hers fall onto his coat.
"Very well then. I shall arrange with Nyxara and her squads and we will initiate the plan as soon as possible. Hopefully, by dusk." Zarok then left the room, dragging the warmth after him. Morvanna also left and went to the kitchen. Her vision was tunneled and she was giggling hysterically. She opened a cupboard and pulled out her dagger. She then loaded it with dark energy and put it to her throat,
"Maybe he'll love me NO-" Morvanna was cut off before she could finish,
"Mom? What are you doing?" It was Draven, the youngest. He loved his mother but was too afraid to be with her,
"Silly Child! What are you doing here!" Morvanna screamed before throwing the dagger at him. Draven instinctively wrapped his fists in dark energy and punched it away into the wall, barely missing her. He then used dark energy to seep through the floor, down to the last floor and he ran out of the house to where Thorne was. Morvanna ripped her dagger from off the wall and fell to the ground, crying, tilting her head towards the wall. She looked down at the dagger,
"This dagger I see before me, shall it end me, or shall I end it?!" Morvanna asked herself before grabbing the dagger and stabbing a piece of duck-dog meat from the fridge.
Zarok then rode through the rain with a giant bee, an umbrella made of gold, and a tip-top hat. He made his way to the main military base, where Nyxara was. It was a giant structure made up of steel and concrete. It had automatic wind-rays attached to each corner which could detect an intruder and immediately shoot them down. The steel wall surrounding the place was at least 10 meters tall and had electrified barbed wire all across it. As for the interior, it was a bright place and had sweat and tears floating around. Soldiers were being trained NON-STOP for a non-existent war. It was split up into multiple sections and floors that were designated for soldiers of different levels and experience. The building itself was made of steel that is not of our human world. It had properties that do not relate to the realistic steel and it was incredibly durable. In the yard, there were watchtowers and outdoor facilities where the soldiers could socialize or work out for their pleasure. There were multiple factories around the main building where weapons and element enhancers were being built. Finally, there was a building that was likened to the main one, this was the dormitories. Soldiers would sleep, eat, change, and do their own 'natural' business in there. Zarok entered the premises and walked into the main building (it was around 3 PM during this time and training was still in motion. The squad was still climbing the mountain during this time.) and went to Nyxara's office.
Knock, knock.
"Enter!" Nyxara exclaimed whilst filling in the paperwork. Zarok entered the room, took his raincoat off, and hung it on the coat hanger,
"Good afternoon, dear Nyxara," Zarok said whilst tipping his hat over and back on. "I have a proposition for you, M'lady," Zarok said respectfully but with a light grin on his cheeks. Nyxara immediately pushed away the paperwork,
"Oh, my Lord, anything for you," Nyxara said whilst bowing down on one knee,
"Anything you say? We'll get to that later!" Zarok said before laughing out loud. Nyxara blushed and also lightly smiled, "But in all serosity, I have an idea which only you can instate. "
"What is it, my lord?" Nyxara said with a gentle whisper.
"I'll waste no time, we will ally with Nightsmith Dominiu and kidnap the royal family of Lumin, and charge a ransom of 10,000 Diametra which will help sustain our kingdom." Nyxara looked up with confusion, her blue eyes scanned the room and she then stood up. She went over to her chair and sat down,
"Right, let's discuss this." She said. Zarok sat down on the chair in front of her and swung his short, bumpy, left arm over the chair. "What's your plan B if you can't form an alliance with the dragon?" She asked.
"Well, we'll dig through the mountain, the dragons are on top of the mountain, aren't they? We'll dig through it and then march to their palace." Zarok said with his arms now crossed and his head pointing upwards.
"Yes, I understand your plan," Nyxara then leaned onto the table and put her hands together, "but you must understand that the mountain is 50,000 meters tall and Zephyrus knows how long or how deep. Plan B is a leap of faith you know." Nyxara said with a worried tone and sweat dripping from her forehead.
"Then we'll do plan A and Gods bless it!" Zarok exclaimed with enthusiasm.
"But..." Nyxara said.
This conversation turned into a debate and after 4 long hours of conversing, they came up with the final plan. In 2 days, at dusk, when the Lumin family is preparing for bed, Nyxara and her army will fly over the land with the dragon, as stealthily as possible, and land near the palace. They will then use soldiers with the element of stone and raise the foundation of the palace from its roots. The fire users will then blast it with flames whilst the water and wind users go in and kidnap the family itself. The fire will burn the palace down which will cause the government to think the palace burned down with the family in it. While this confusion is happening, Nyxara and her forces will be on their way to the Umbra palace. They will then cage up the family in an anti-element cage which is unbreakable to every element BUT pure-energy. Zarok then went home to his wife and told her the plan. She silently agreed. During that same night, Morvanna tried to initiate sex but Zarok zapped her so that she stopped.
It was nighttime, and the squad was returning home. They scaled the mountain and found it boring. It was nothing compared to the legends and finding a fire-infested animal was rare. Edward, Elara, and Aelion were all disappointed, they came all that way, they nearly died MULTIPLE times and they raised their expectations so high, which only led it to be crushed even harder. They were heart-broken and the whole way back none of them uttered a word. It was now 3 in the morning and they arrived back home.
"AELION! HOW DARE YOU STEAL THE ELEPHANT!" A ferocious voice screamed from inside Aelion's castle. Aelion got goosebumps and the hair on the back of his neck raised,
"Is that... your dad!" Edward exclaimed whilst pointing at a tall elf with a stick in his hand.
"Oh no! I am finished! You guys, use your super cool wind power thingies and fly away, I must suffer!" Aelion's voice was cracking and tears were streaming down his face. Elara held onto Edward and they flew away,
"Sorry Mr. Eldrinor Silverleaf!" Edward laughed out loud and then got pinched by Elara before going off into the horizon.
