Chapter 11 - Town structure

Back at town,I headed over to the main warehouse, this was located at the bag of the town, near the caves entrance and close to my abode.

The main warehouse was twice the size of the other four warehouses.

Each of the four warehouse was located in a different section of the town. The town was divided in five sections, the left wing, the right wing, the center wing, the front wing and the back wing.

The front wing was next to the towns only known entrance, there were two other entrances, only known to me as I had set them up when laying down a defensive spirit formation around the town.

Actually, only two people knew of this defensive formation, and that was Mio and I.

The defensive formation served a multitude of functions. It acted as both a defensive and offensive formation,a tracking formation and a communication formation.

The communication properties of the formation were linked to communication jades, currently possed by Mio,the five guards,a couple of residents incharge of the mine and the lumbering team, and I.

These communication jade's weakness was their range. They only worked within a ten kilometres radius of the towns formation. Something that I could only improve after breaking through into an earthen spirit master.

The front wing also housed the open air market, the garrison and the registration building as well as a mix of what were to be future inns, shops and residential abode.

The residential building was currently devoid of life. Though one of the only two women in the town had already being assigned as a clerk by Mio,she was still helping out in the kitchen as there were no people coming into town.

The registration building, was where all the new inhabitants of the town would have their details recorded,as well as asigned tasks as par their skills set.

One would also need to visit this building to apply for a property lease within the town and it's outskirts, as well as apply for a job or a change of job.

As for the right wing, ninety percent of it contained residential buildings of all sizes and shapes. Two things they all had in common was that they were all constructed of stones and were had two or more floors.

The remaining ten percent consisted of shops and buildings mentioned for public entertainment.

As for the left wing,it was the craft section.

Smithies,tannery workshops,carpentry workshops,jewellery shops,tailor's workshop,pottery workshops name it all,were all located within this wing.

The centre wing was where all the fun happened, seventy percent of this wing was ment for entertainment and recreation. There was a large park, with an artificial lake that was filled with crystal clear water and marine life created from a spirit formation set by me.

The centre wing also had a mini stadium and buildings that would be used in the future as inns, restaurant, taverns, auctions houses, shops, offices and more.

The remaining percent was taken up by the towns administration buildings, the warehouse, the hospital and the school.

As for the back wing,it was home to the future tycoons and officers of the town.

The back wing was also where my mini castle was located. It had a total of twenty one rooms, and even a dungeon and a wine cellar.

Apart from the fifth warehouse, the other iconic buildings in this wing were the guards post close to the mountain cave entrance, the training grounds and the cultivation tower.

The rest of the space was taken up by courtyards, storey buildings and facilities ment for the future wealthy residents of the town.

There were also a few administration buildings in this wing.

According to me,Mio had truly outdone himself in the planning and construction of the town.

He was a man suitable for a senior management position.

As for the outer cave,it had been sealed up by me,with a spirit formation. Only those who possed the formation key could access the cave.

As for the inner cave where the goblins leaved,I had noticed an abnormal phenomenal taking place. The blue jade like stone that had turned into a normal boulder had gradually started regaining it shine.

I had sealed up the space as I was curious. I planned on waiting to see what would emerge next from the stones.

If it were goblins,my bad,but if it were a new species of creatures, then I was in for some kill coins.

With a complete town, thanks to the tier four goblin puppets manpower, all that was left was for me to populate the town.

Actually, if it were not for the goblin puppets working in town, the town would have resembled a hunted and abandoned town.

Currently, out of the two hundred and forty rank four goblin puppets providing labour, about a third of them were currently in town. Also three of the goblin squadrons were in town, the other two were out guarding the lumberjack goblins, the mine and the stone quarry.

After handing over the spatial sack with the foodstuffs to Mio for inventory and storage, the two of us headed towards the left wing where the stables and pens were located.

From there,I used the up the five hundred livestock summoning tokens.

The crowing of roosters, the mows of cows, the bleating of sheep and grunts from pigs filled up the area.

The two men who had been tasked with taking care of the first batch of summoned livestock were overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of all the animals. Luckily for them,I had placed the tokens in their respective sheds before summoning the animals.

Before leaving the area,I had to transfer the little knowledge I had on animal husbandry to to a dozen goblins so they could help the two men.

Mio also had one of the men prepare a record of the number of livestock for reference and easy planning on the allocation of feeds and gathering of yields, since the numbers had multiplied.

The daily reports would enable the rightful allocation of feeds, resources and manpower to the rearing division,as well as keeping tabs and taking inventory of the yields.

It would also allow proper management and allocation of the animal yields.

Mio was a man who was quick to analyse every situation in a broader perspective and plan several steps ahead.

His single idea was enough to eradicate a thousand problems that would have later cropped up
